The hotel itself was nice but heavily worn. Very little interaction with staff but any were positive. The area in is located is terrible! The hotel charges an exorbitant amount per calendar day to park your car so guests park themselves and fear for their lives going to and from their cars. The area has a lot of homeless and void of any other visitors/residents. We didn’t search well before booking and will not return to that area because of this. We had food delivered and did not venture out not knowing the area.

Great stay

For a 4 star Hilton, it was not great. Bed sucked, woke up with bad back pain and the shower would barely drain. I didnt get a suite but it didnt have a small fridge nor a microwave.

Great Staff

This is the second rime we've stayed and we loved it the first time so we rebooked. Overall one of the best we've stayed at, from the room, to the staff. This is truly what the hospitality industry should be.

We got in quickly. We were within walking distance from the Hobby Center for the PA. The room was very nice, very comfortable, and quiet. The bartender was very nice, and we enjoyed visiting with her.

Really like the staff. Very welcoming and helpful. LOVED our room. We had a Jr Suite with 2 bathrooms. Enjoyed our stay. The only issue was the hallway leading to our room smelled like animal urine. It was really strong and unpleasant. Only reason we didnt give it 5 stars. Everything else wqs good.

The hotel is amazing. However doesn’t feel very safe at night when you are outside

First time back in years. Same great hotel I remember. Also, I am. History guy. It was built around world war II.

The staff was welcoming. Valet was helpful with directions.

Every thing was clean and convenient the only sadness was the he valet was not explained properly to me but over all I will be back

Room was very small for the price. Clean but rather cramped for two people.
Front desk personnel were polite and helpful.
The Pearl restaurant is nothing but an average hotel bar at best. Understaffed and unable to keep up with orders. No seafood as advertised about The Pearl restaurant on the website. Simply bar food (burgers). After receiving menus, bartender never came back to the table. We finally walked out. Fortunately there are some good restaurants within walking distance.
The so called free breakfast in the Pearl breakfast area was nowhere to be found when we left at 9am Saturday morning. So again we just left.
I had what I believe to be realistic expectations for a $300/room in a hotel that advertises a sit down restaurant and free breakfast. I expected a room that was somewhat larger than the cramped one I received. Check with the property prior to booking to make sure you get what they’re advertising.

Great property, just a short walk to Minute Made Park.

I thought it would be close to work but downtown is busy in the morning. And parking is a hassle
4.1
Stuffy room. Uncomfortable bed. Not a Hilton standard property.
4.1
Perfect place to stay if you need to be in walking distance of minute maid park!

There was only one person working the front desk and she was on a call, so I waited about 5 minutes before even being recognized. Once she put the customer on hold, she informed me that she did not have a reservation for me. I showed her my confirmation number and then she was able to find it. Once I was given my room keys, I went to my assigned room, opened the door and there were already people in that room. There were clothes, shoes and luggage in the room and the TV was on. Thank goodness I didn't see anyone or anything going on.

Good hotel however room description was a city view which was not the case for my room. However, the hotel is really nice.

Kind and helpful staff!

The room itself was great. But the area around the hotel is not the best and the dining options are limited so have to do Uber Eats because not safe to walk to other dining. Staff were cordial but not overly helpful. Valet was very expensive and not many options for parking. Better options downtown for the price.

the staff was wonderful and very welcoming. the bed was really nice, and i liked the natural lighting the rooms offered. however, for the price, and lack of self parking i found some od the accomodations to be lacking and outdated. for example, the tv was borderline retro. the lack of a mini fridge was a bit annoying. i understand this is to encourage using the restaurant in the hotel, but i wanted to come back to cold water after a night out lol.
small annoyances for a relatively chill stay. i thought it was fun, but don't think we will be returning due to price and parking alone.
4.1
Valet parking was $45… only sit down and order breakfast option. Dirty bathroom with poor design. Beds were more like twins than queens.

I was staying there with my mother and the stay was Great. Forest and Victor went above and beyond to accommodate us . All staff was great . The bartender was nice she was very hospitable . Property is clean we enjoyed our stay .

I enjoyed our stay. Your staff were friendly and responsive. The room was comfy and clean.

We were stuck for 2 nights with no luggage due to airline cancellations. The staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable and make sure we had what we needed!!
4.1
We had two problems with the room. one was a running toilet that took 2 days to fix and the other was a smoke detector that continued to beep and was never fixed
4.1
The only drawback was the amount to valet overnight. $42.00 a night is insane!!! Other than that it was a great place!
4.1
I liked everything but the toilet will not stop running.

One of my worst hotel experiences ever. Our need for a room was to have a place to sleep and shower in the morning. We got back from our venue around 10:30 and fell into the bed. outside street noise went on for a couple of hours. In the middle of the night, there was some weird electronic clicking sound that seemed to be coming from the ceiling. finally, after a not-so-good night's sleep, we both needed to get a shower to prepare for our three-hour trip back to corpus christi. The water trickled out. the water in the sink faucet was stronger. the temperature kept on changing, so we could not even shower in the trickle.
in addition, the toilet was not cleaned even to normal home standards (hair, dirt and urine around one of the seat hinges, crud on the shower tile edge next to the glass door, etc.
Our 300 dollar room was very small, but attractive. they clearly were using the small space to it's best advantage, with a built-in desk and a tiny couch that still gave us room to move about.
when i approached the manager about our situation, he apologized, explaining that only one other person had made the same complaint about the water. turns out it was a bad pump. I insisted that this was a serious inconvenience, and he responded that i had full use of the room up to the morning, so only a small percentage of my stay was impeded. WHAT? a good shower was 1/2 of what i booked a room for. 1/2 to sleep.
manager was unempathetic and barely responsive.

Beautiful hotel, but nothing states until you arrive.
There's a $42.00 valet fee or else you're parking away from hotel.

Nice lobby and friendly staff

Wonderful experience for an Astros weekend
4.1
Great stay. And close to a lot of downtown venues.
4.1
Hotel great, smell good, nice staff but the only thing there’s a lot of homeless at the area
4.1
The hotel itself is ok, rooms are on the small side, but adequate. My vehicle was broken into while it was valeted and the hotel tried to say that the window “exploded” on its own. The vehicle was located in a private parking garage that supposedly only they valet had access too. Yet somehow my vehicle was singled out and broken into. The hotel tried to not take any responsibility until I informed them that items were missing.
4.1
The hotel and staff were professional. My room was very nice. My view from my window was homeless people congregating along with tons of trash all over the place. I would not feel comfortable walking around outside.
4.1
Location was great for the price, breakfast was good as well. Valet was a little slow, the bar area had a foul smell and the homeless people surrounding the hotel was a little disturbing. Not a bad stay overall.
4.1
Restaurant downstairs is great.
