Wish I'd had an experience that lived up to the high rating. Checking in/registering was impossible - the online form they sent didn't work, and for a week I was unable to get in touch with anyone via texts, emails, or phone calls that went straight to voicemail. I tried to reserve a parking space in advance on the online form, but not until I arrived did they inform me that it didn't go through because of said online registration issues. Additionally, the room I had (particularly the bathroom) was very poor. Despite all the heat being off the room was somehow sweltering hot, the towel rails and shower rod were loose and felt like they were going to fall off with the slightest pressure. And worst of all - the shower head was positioned only 3-4 feet off the ground, making showering an incredibly awkward and uncomfortable experience. The only thing I can think of is that it was intended to be a fully handicap bathroom, but if so and they intend to let non-handicapped people stay, there are plenty of shower fixture options that include both lower and higher shower heads to provide a quality experience for all. The staff was very friendly and welcoming - which was very nice and appreciated. But the quality of the room means I don't plan to stay here again.

If you don't want to hear your neighbors conversations this is not the place for you. If you don't want to hear people walking about your room, this place is not for you. Location was great. If you need something during the day great but at night no one is working.

Would’ve been nice knowing that there isn’t house keeping despite having the door hanger to use to request it.

Very clean rooms and pleasant professional staff. Would like a walk-in shower instead of a tub

Overall, this was an enjoyable stay. However, there are a few things that could make Pilgrim House exceptional. We hope that there are some changes to celebrate the next time we visit. The concierge's desk was often absent, with staff working nearby, out of sight. The lines of communication and/or results between the concierge and the cleaning staff could improve. We arrived on a Monday afternoon and left Thursday morning. Our room was cleaned only once! There is only one person cleaning the rooms; this is certainly not her fault. We left a tip that reflected this one-time change of sheets, towels, and toiletries. Winston, the bellhop, was friendly, attentive and helpful. Meghan, the pleasant concierge, stepped in with much needed supplies when we were in need of them. The room's bathroom toilet tank is filling too slowly. Otherwise, this room and second floor's balcony were well appointed, air conditioned, comfortable and close to the hustle and bustle of Commercial Street. Thanks to Meghan for providing parking suggestions within our budget. Family Week was a wonderful time to see Provincetown. Thanks!

The Pilgrim House is a nice property located in the heart of Provincetown. The location is ideal for sightseeing and walking around town. However, the property is very old and the rooms are not all the same. Our room did not have a refrigerator or coffee maker which made the stay less than enjoyable. There is no common ice machine but the staff will get you some ice from the kitchen if you ask (they are not always around). The mattress was old and soft which made it hard to sleep. Also, they wanted to charge us $75 per day to park which we were not aware of beforehand. The staff was very nice and helpful (especially Kevin).

Nice property. First time there. We usually pick a more quiet bed and breakfast. But I was great after 1030pm Tv issues first day but they fixed it the second.
