Good location. Good value for money. Clean. Friendly and helpful staff. A lot of light spots. Personal safe could be a useful addition. Some maintenance stupid but annoying issues like a toilet seat not properly installed. Overall good value for the money.

The location was convenient. The rooms and the beddings were dirty, with mold.

Nice hotel. Stayed for 3 days. Good staff. Close to a lot of halal food places. Walking distance from Omonia Sq (5mins) and 20mins walk from Syntagma Sq.

I booked this hotel on 22/1/24 for a June date. On arrival I was told that the room had no electricity and they were unable to provide any alternative. So they moved us to an hotel around the corner by the name of Hotel Lido. As this was the last night of our trip we reluctantly accepted it. Why weren’t we advised prior to turning up!!!

Staff was excellent. It's a travelers hotel. The cab drivers were even afraid to go down these streets to drop us off. People were screaming outside all night with the police sirens were blaring

Ok the staff are really nice and trying to run a respectable establishment but there’s no getting around the fact that the hotel is really quite shabby and in a very sketchy area, and the room was pretty filthy. Again the reception staff were lovely and the breakfast was great but these are the only perks to this hotel.

The staff were very polite! We were able to store our luggage before check-in with no issue. Sadly, the area around the hotel had a lot of drug use & homeless people. A local warned me to be careful as there are rising crime rates in that area. The shower & bathroom were incredibly tiny in the standard room so having more than one person in there was nearly impossible. The walls let a lot of noise through & we were unlucky to be next to a group of people that wouldn’t stop being loud until 1am or later each night when we had early wake-up's for tours. They also don’t have laundry as stated on the page, there’s laundry nearby & they said there’s a place that will do pick up & drop off service. The only good thing was the balcony & the friendliness of the staff. Otherwise, I won’t stay here again.

Arrived early hours of sat morning 06/04/24 staff were great.entered the room of stay, being half a sleep, woke me up ,from pictures supplied on hotels. Com to what i was looking at that present moment.ask for a picture of room 101.the bathroom, alittle bigger than a aircraft toilet, you could not close the bathroom door, swollen door.the bed mattress was lumpy due to the springs sticking up into the cloth.the lights kept tripping fuse, which by luck ,the fuse board was in the room.the room had a view outside( another wall with pipes hanging off,and a lean to roof, diy ed box section welded to the middle off the balustrade. Two big aircon units standing otherside of the balcony floor.we was expecting a bar at the hotel, that also shows and in the itillerary says that their is a bar,it turns out to be vending machines, with tins of beer.the staff were great with no fault there five star but from what i book was not what i received, too me it felt false advertising.

The property was fine. As described and expected given how cheap it is! Good value. However I booked a double bed and got twin beds which was a shame. Otherwise a great stay

Area around the property has some homeless and can seem unsafe to individuals not used to being in close proximity to individuals that are without housing.

The location was great. Not too far from the train station and main neighborhoods, restaurants and shopping stores.
The room was really small. The cleanliness was not at it's best and they didn't clean the rooms everyday.
The staff was super friendly and instantly upgraded our room when the one we had was not cleaned properly.

Clean and tidy room and bathroom. Nice and attentive staff. Was above our expectations in relation to the price. Not in the best neighborhood - but rich in content ;0)

The windows were left open which unfortunately meant that a lot of mosquitoes were in the room. Staff were very friendly, good location to train station.

We were very satisfied with the customer service we received at Epidavros hotel, we definitely book a room there for the next visit to Athens.

Very disappointing. Our "double, non smoking room" turned out to be a twin-bed aging ashtray where smoke smell had infiltrated every furniture, pillow, and the paper-thin blankets.
The "room balcony" was a storage for old broken tiles. There was no coffee or tea in the room, but the reception clerc "exceptionally allowed us to bring back coffee from outside". What a nice gesture.
I was embarrassed to bring the Missus there - and we are very open-minded travelers. Avoid this place.

The hotel was in a very sketchy part of town. We walked to dinner and were very safe. The young man at the front desk was amazing and so helpful. He made the stay. Can’t beat 40 euros.

Positief points:
- Excellent location. In center of Athens, you can just walk to everywhere.
- The staff are friendly and give good advice.
- Clean
- Breakfast is not bad.
Can be better or negatief points:
- Nothing special in the breakfast.
- Every day the samefood.
- No hot melk.
- The remaining breakfast food is reused after one day. Even without some heating, boiled cold eggs, bread etc is not
- Soundproof walls is NOT true, to much noise on street, and in the hotel, you can hear other people talk in their room, open/close doors, douche or use bathroom
But it is a good hotel, for this price I find it acceptable

We had six nights at the hotel. Kind helpful staff. Our view was not great, the room a bit dated, and the area of town is not high end of Athens. With all that said, we enjoyed our stay immensely. Local street vendors and food stalls were a wonderful distraction from the tourist locations not far away. Athens is more than historic relics, it is a bustling cacophony of languages, religions and cultures. Staying here gave it all perspective due to it Not being fancy.

The hotel is located in a very run down area.- No parking on site.Walking the streets at night doesnt feel very safe as there are plenty of homeless people around the hotel and some can be aggressive when asking for money.- The metro is about a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel.- The hotel room smelled of smoke and was very humid.- The air condition remote did not work and the solution was to get up on a chair to plug in the AC and unplug it when it got too cold.- There is a balcony, but there is only standing room, no chairs to sit on and the AC unit fan takes up all the space and emmits heat and noise, thus dont go on the balcony.- You are asked to leave you room keys at reception when leaving the property, but the dont ask for ID when you return and ask for the keys.- No safe in the room.- washroom size is small with a tiny shower. I challenge you not to get the shower curtain stuck on you when taking a shower. The floor will get soaked as well.- Hotel did the job of our over night stay, but dont plan to stay more than one night here.Dirty city and rude
