What a charming Riad, the hosts are very friendly and helpful. Our room was beautiful. We enjoyed staying at Riad Fes Baraka

Good location, hospitality of Toulia. General condition of the property.
There is no elevator, but staff helps to take your luggage upstairs. Nice terrace ln the rooftop. We were there for one night only and enjoyed it.

Beautiful, charming property that we had booked in 2020 and again in 2021, both cancelled due to covid. So happy to make good in our promise to stay there eventually!
Lovely, filling breakfast. Samir was an excellent host, making sure we had everything we needed. The pool is beautiful, as is the roof area for relaxing. They use Bachir Bros. Taxis for excursions and they were excellent too. Easy pickup at the airport which was greatly appreciated.

The staff at this property are wonderful people and made our stay so enjoyable. Don’t hesitate to stay here. Clean, safe and the service is what made our stay top notched. One of the best riad during our visit to Morocco.

Perfect idyllic spot. A short walk from the bustling souks in the medina, but once you close the doors behind you, you could be a million miles from anywhere. Peaceful tranquility. Tulia, Samir and all the staff are very accommodating. The breakfast is a perfect start to any day and the pool is so refreshing after a busy day haggling. The rooms are all individually decorated. Would definitely stay here again.

Charming riad. On six rooms. The pool is very nice. The service is excellent and the breakfast offered is very good. Samir was always available to answer our questions. The rooms are clean and the beds are confortable. We stayed at the Serail suite. Love it! Great stay!

Amazing riad. I was only there for a few days, but they really make you feel like family. They look out for you and set you up with whatever you need. Definitely worth checking out.

In one word...WOW! This place was amazing. We stayed on the top floor in a grand suite over looking the pool. The room was grand. We felt like we were in a palace. We had a large balcony, sundeck and huge sleeping quarters. It as one of our favorite places that we stayed while in Morocco. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. The parking situation wasn't great, but it was similar to how we parked in most other cities on our trip. We questioned our choice as we walked the streets to the Riad, but as soon the riad doors opened we knew we had chosen the right place!

This Riad is a true Riad because of the small pool in the middle of it, and it was fantastic. It was ver easy to find, and Samir the manager, met us outside. We were welcomed with Moroccan mint tea and talked about our trip so far. We booked the Serail suite and it was perfect. The beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean, AC worked, and we had a small indoor patio as well as access to the public outdoor patio upstairs. Breakfast was tasty and everyone there was very kind and helpful. The small pool had very cool water and was a great way to relax after a long day of walking. We would recommend this Riad to everyone!

The staff at the riad was great! So friendly, so helpful. We had dinners there for 3 nights and the meals were incredible. We also got the hammam/massage that they offer…. Highly recommended! Great location. Beds comfortable

A very traditional Riad with a lovely central swimming pool in the main courtyard. Ground floor bedrooms overlooking the pool, one bedroom in particular very close to pool edge, one slip and you’d be in the water. Breakfast and dinner good and wine good value. Room traditionally furnished with huge 4 poster bed and air conditioning. Bathroom very dark and dingy and only a bath and hand held shower.

By far my favourite accommodation during our 10-day trip through Morroco. Staff was very nice and the room incredible. We had booked the Serail Suite which is located on the top floor with direct access to the terrace. We spent most of our time there enjoying the sun in the day and the stars in the evening. The food was just so delicious that we ended up dining there each evening. The main entrance to the old medina is only a 10 minswalk away, which was great. The location of the riad is ideal and there was no noose coming in from the streets nearby.

We had a great stay at Riad Fes Baraka. The riad was very beautiful and the perfect place to take a break from the busy streets of Fes. Our hosts were so hospitable and even allowed us to watch them cook our three course dinner. For a foodie this was a great treat. We hope we can go back there someday soon!

I have traveled all over the world. I stayed in Riads before in Marakesh. By comparison this is the best Riad I have ever stayed. Mr Samir is so nice and professional who makes sure that we are satisfied in everything. He gave directions to the taxi when we arrived at the station. Location is great and easy to find from the blue gate. Taxi can bring you almost to the riad. The lady in the morning also nice, can't recall her name. All staff are so professional. Please look no further. This is the best Riad. I would go back definitely. The riad is so clean. Breakfast was good. You are welcomed with mint tea with a big smile at the arrival. The riad is so authentic and well maintained. We did not use the pool because the weather was not so hot, but I would love to go back when the weather is warm to take benefit of the pool. You feel so relaxed inside the riad. The riad is close to souks, but far enough to be away from the noise of the souks. We took a guide from the Riad. Make sure to Ask Samir for a guide . We had another guide but we were not happy with but the guide provided by Samir in the riad was so good and speaks 5 or 6 languages and was so knowledgeable and not pushy as other guides. I recommend a guide as the old medina can be overwhelming. I cannot write enough to recommend this riad. If there is more than 10. I would go 2 this riad more than 10. I am not easy to please but this riad is really a gem in FES. Tx you for upgrading my room & 4 everything.

Great place to stay! Exceptional in every way. Very clean and spacious. Location is ideal as is inside the Medina but not in the heart of the Medina which was very convenient for us. Samir and staff were beyond friendly. Samir was very helpful answering all our questions. He welcomed us with hot tea as tradition. Great breakfast provided by the Riad but dinner was beyond delicious. It has several pleasant common areas to relax, read books and have tea. The rooftop is incredible with a nice view of the Medina. They even picked us up from the airport and they drove us to the bus station to buy tickets to Chefchaouen. Wifi was excellent. In general, it covered all our needs and pleased all our expectations. We felt like home. Highly recommended..We would be back!

We only stayed at Riad Baraka for one evening but it was a pleasant one! We were served fresh mint tea on our arrival, and a great breakfast once we woke up.
The room was comfortable and as described, and the location was great; its just a short walk through some winding medina streets before you reach the markets and souks!

Fes was an incredible city but our experience there would not have been the same had we not stayed at Riad Fes Baraka. The kind, hard working people who make Baraka tick - Samir, Turia, Samira, Siad and the rest of the staff - do such a wonderful job of making you feel comfortable, welcome, safe, cared for and care free. All within the walls of a gorgeous, traditional riad in the heart of Fes.
Samir and Turia are always around to answer questions, grab you train tickets, set you up with any service you need, have a tea with you, arrange dinner or give you advice. Samir upgraded our room because it was available and because he wanted us to feel more comfortable, all before arranging a great guide for us, booking us hammam appointments and making sure we were lined up for a cooking demonstration.
The food is some of the best food I've ever had. We ate dinner at the riad all three nights we stayed and have yet to have anything in Morocco that compares. Samira is an incredible chef, preparing dishes as if she was feeding her family. We cooked with her in the kitchen one evening and got to observe some of her techniques. An experience I will never forget.
A few random notes/tips: the beds were incredibly comfortable, the pool is a great retreat in summer, swing for a larger room with a bathroom (the suites are totally worth it!), have Samir book you with a guide for your first day in the medina, and book the hammam (it's private, personal and lovely.)

Situated in the medina but on the outskirts which allows you to still be able to GE taxi to your door thus place is paradise inside as a classic Riad is.
The staff are tremendous in particular Samir who looks after your every need
Will definitely recommend this place to anyone and will stay again if ever in Fes.

Bathroom had sewage smell and closet kinda smells to but if you can ignore that than hotel is very good. Nice pool, design, and location. Very nice staff.

What a little gem of a place. Riads are definitely the way to go. Such beautiful ornamentation!! The reception team were amazing! The bill was accurate. We were three girls, family, and were at the beginning of our trip, so we had a bit of a tiff, and the hosts were kind and gave us the room to work it out. They gave us the support needed to get to the bus station to pick up our bus tickets, which was stressful. The room was beautiful, clean, and quiet. The only little bummer, was that the ladies doing the massage/scrubs were a bit unprofessional. But the riad and its hosts were amazing!

We really enjoyed our stay here and wished it could have been much longer. The riad was in a wonderful location in the old medina, which made it easy for us to explore. The decor was both comfortable and, at the same time, distinctive and ornate. It was very kid friendly and our children had a blast. The one thing I want to say especially is that we were impressed by Moroccan hospitality everywhere in the country, but the staff of Riad Fes Baraka really stood out. From the owner on down, everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, communicative and helpful. They even went out of their way to reach out to us and help us arrange for good transport on to our next destination (and we only stayed there one night). And the caretaker, Samir, even walked us over to a nearby restaurant so we wouldn't get lost. You couldn't have asked for better hosts.

A beautiful and clean riad. Staff were welcoming and very helpful. We were very impressed with the guides that were recommended to take us through the souks and to visit nearby Volubilis, Meknes and Moulay Idriss.

The Riad is attractive, conveniently located and staffed by very helpful people ready to make adjustments as needed. We would recommend the place without reservation.

The Riad Fes Baraka is a lovely Riad, not too big, with very attentive staff. I was upgraded to a bigger room on arrival, and given a great introduction to the city of Fes. The hotel is quite well-located, about 5 minutes walk from the Blue Gate, though towards the edge of the Fes medina. Breakfast was sumptuous, and the staff were very attentive.

We stayed for 2 nights in February. We were very warmly welcomed by all the staff, who made sure we were comfortable and felt at home. The decor of the riad is beautiful, and the location is very convenient for the medina. It was a great way for us to begin our one week tour of Morocco.

We were upgraded to a luxury suite for the first 3 nights of our stay. Breakfast was served on the beautiful terrace each morning. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the bathrooms very good. Samir is delightful and very eager to please. A very peaceful and relaxing place with no cats, which was a pleasant change from other accommodation in Morocco.
