Pleasant 2 night stay at Chateaux. Room a little faded but spacious, clean and comfortable. No air conditioning in room.

When i arrived i was informed that i had been upgraded to a suite because of a group that had came in.. The room was more then perfect for us as it had an up stairs room with bed and extra shower.. Was an impressive building, room, and area for my Father and I..

Property around the Chateau is nice, and the countryside setting is OK. The building itself is old, with horrible wallpaper in the rooms, no AC, and no elevator. Bags have to be carried up a lot of stairs, with no railings for the upper floor. The lack of AC means the rooms get very warm, unless you open the windows - but there are no screens and plenty of bugs come into the room (mosquitoes, various flies, moths, and spiders). The staff was very friendly and helpful, the massage was good at the spa, and the food at the restaurant was excellent. It was isolated from town, with no available transportation except our car and no food delivery available.

It was a beautiful hotel and grounds. It was a short drive into Bayeux and to the Normandy battle sites. Breakfast was nice.

Very disappointing. Hotel has been bought and they are going to start renovations in the fall. Hotel has probably not been updated for 40 years.
Our sink was cracked, the felt welting on closet doors was falling off. A light in the hall blinked all night. The carpet behind the front desk was taped down due to wear.
Staff was very kind. They are embarrassed by the state of the hotel. My kids had better dorm rooms!

Beautiful property, refined and relaxed. Marie at front desk was delightful and oh so accommodating to my family and I. Watched her man the front desk, act as bartender, make restaurant reservations and a charcuterie for my hungry grandchildren all at the same time!!! So kind and helpful

A wonderful hotel inside an ancient castle in a charming and amazing place. An exceptional restaurant inside the hotel, an indoor pool with warm water, a jacuzzi and a sauna, everything is clean and beautiful, the staff is very helpful and nice

A very short but pleasant stay in beautiful surroundings and with impeccable service from friendly staff.

Great stay overall !! The venue looks beautiful. We didn’t get to enjoy the amenities as we didn’t have enough time. The room was a bit old but the bathroom was beautiful and products are from Nuxe, loved that !!

The Chateau de Sully is an excellent hotel experience! Absolutely gorgeous historical property that makes one feel like a Duke or Dutchess. Very professional and friendly staff take care of your every need. The breakfast was also exceptional! Just perfect!

Breakfast and our 3 hour, 6 course dinner was absolutely amazing! The setting was beautiful and the staff were incredible. Very, very convenient to Beaux and Normandy if visiting the historic sites.

This is a beautiful French Chatau, pictures don't do justice. This Chateau sets on Acres of manicured grounds. The food and wine was fantastic!

Wonderful Castle that is immaculately maintained with staff that go above and beyond to make your stay special. I've travel extensively and this property is world class and can't say enough about Gregory the general manager and all his staff who treat you like royalty and make you feel like home in this prestigious castle.

Wonderful setting, lovely building, staff great. The room had low ceiling, although of a high standard, perhaps we should have asked for another? The food was top quality although a little too pretentious for for our taste, and I was disappointed that the French wine was soo expensive!

Friendly staff, good location, good parking.
Shower system was a mess ; had to sit in the tub and hand-hold the shower head. No shower curtain or doors. Also, no washcloths.

We spent a few nights here while on our honeymoon. What an absolutely beautiful and relaxing hotel! We enjoyed everything about this place. It is charming, quaint, and comfortable. The staff is friendly and hospitable. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We had dinner there one night and it was probably the best meal of our lives. I hope to come back some day!

We spent the last couple of nights at this hotel, following a 2 week road trip around Europe. The building and grounds are beautiful and the hotel staff friendly and helpful. Like most of the hotels we stayed in during this trip, all booked through Hotel.com, we found that the room was much smaller than the ones on the hotel website. I am starting to think they keep those rooms back for the customers who book direct with them and not through Hotels.com, to whom they always give their customers the smaller rooms!
Our roof was on the top floor with sloping ceiling under the eaves. It was decorated in a certain 'style', which we found a bit oppressive in that all the walls and soft furnishings were in the same floral design. Being a small room it was a bit too much!
That said the Hotel was nice, in a great location about 10 minutes outside Bayeux and we would go there again (as long as we dont get the flowery room).

The view driving into the chateau is beautiful however, our enjoyment ended there. We had booked our stay at least 8 months prior to our arrival. We checked in at 6 PM and were given the last remaining room. The room was not what we had booked and we were disappointed. The chateau has a nice dining room however we were so disappointed with our room and the response from the front desk that we chose to eat elsewhere. In the morning, my husband attempted to use the pool however it was not open.

A lovely chateau in a wonderful setting, accessible to all of the must-see sights of Normandy. Highly rated restaurant. Good breakfast buffet with hot and cold options, fresh fruits. Very good coffee! The grounds are wonderful, well landscaped, many birds.

Super relaxing to be in the quiet of the countryside though also not far from Bayeux. It was difficult to find in the dark with our satnav not quite picking it up. Really spacious room and period decor but also all expected facilities for a quality hotel. Breakfast was continental only. The chateau had a calm feeling. the spa pool, sauna, hot tubs and gym were all good. For our short stay we couldnt make the most of them but it is definitely a place to revisit. we came to see the Bayeux tapestry but theres a lot more to do in this area than we expected. A great holiday destination for those interested in WW2.
