A simple yet very clean and comfortable hotel. Friendly and helpful staff.
We had a family room
Which was well equipped and spacious enough for 4 of us.
Perfect location on the beach. Highly recommend

Nice hotel overall. Great breakfast. Clean and functional. No electrical outlets on either side of the bed is a bit of a problem for those of us using medical devices for sleeping.
Great view and great location.

The hotel is well located on the sea shore and in the village centre. Check out is quite early, what reduces the opportunity to enjoy the advantages in the morning.

After being on a bike trip myself and 3 girlfriends decided on a beach day. The hotel was lovely. 2 had courtyard views but the ocean view was significantly better in terms of size and the balcony was wonderful. Parking a bit of a challenge. Location was perfect. Only negative is that it is noisy at night. The seagulls made a terrible racked and garbage and and street cleaning began at 4:00 am. Bring earplugs!!!!

The hotel was right by the ocean and lots of shops and food options. The balcony overlooking the beach was the best part of our stay.

Loved the sea view. Fridge and coffee making included in the room.

Going in the dead of winter has drawbacks - many restaurants were closed, the hotel closed at 10pm, some rooms were being renovated, etc. But location is great, right on the beach, surrounded by shops, restaurants, ice-cream stands. Room was small but very comfortable bed and linens.

Fair for the price. Beware that parking options are not close. The hotel will show you a map of available city parking - they do not have spaces you can reserve. Breakfast cost here is insane but there are places to walk to in the same block if you want a cheaper breakfast.

Although quite a nice hotel opposite beach, very remote and quite difficult to travel to other places. Mainly French tourist who spoke very little English. We met one other English couple there . At this time iof year (September) seems to be mainly older couples. Staff was lovely and friendly although at times had a little trouble communicating. Nice area with good weather. I initially googled beach holidays near Montpelier and this was one of the ones that that came up. Not near at all. Generally we had a lovely break and met some really great French people.

Pleasant beach holiday stay. Great to watch the sunset from the balcony.

I wouldnt say the hotel was three stars, more likely 1.5. Our room was quite shabby, espesially the bathroom, which was missing a few toiletries which were supposed to be there. The staff seemed to be friendly, although a bit inexperienced.

Great restaurants all around the hotel, location is fabulous, staff wonderful, to say we were pleasantly surprised would be an understatement. Parking is limited not because of the hotel per se, but that is just the way the town is. It is a quaint historical seaside village with a lot of charm. Drop off your luggage and free street parking can be found within a 5 minute walk. Once there, the need to drive anywhere is really not an issue. There is enough to do within a 10-15 minute walk to keep you busy for days on end.

Loved being right down in the center of things. Restaurants and shopping was at our doorstep.

Quaint little town. Great Hotel in the center of it all.

Positives: proximity to the beach, ( just over a quiet road), amazingly effective and silent air conditioning, lovely comfortable bed, helpful friendly staff.

Grows hotel and amazing location. Hotel staff spoke English well and most locals could converse well enough. Lots of French families. There were plenty of restaurants with in a 2 minute walk. A supermarket was about a 10 minute walk. Get a room with a balcony. It's costs about 50 euro from the airport by cab.

We first went to Le Grau du Roi about 35 years ago. It is still worth a visit. A lively town centre. Good restaurants. A large expanse of beach. Excellent for families. Plenty going on. Predominantly French families, but language no barrier.

hotel is in a drastic need of a makeover. The bathroom was quite unpleasant. The bed not comfortable and the room generally very dated. The air conditioning did not work and hotel staff advised it wasn't hot enough to turn it on. It was May and 25 degrees. In the south facing room it was probably closer to 30 degrees. Sleeping was very uncomfortable. The only plus point was the fantastic location with a balcony overlooking the sea.
