Hotel was fine, but bed was uncomfortable and we weren’t told that breakfast finished at 9am, so we missed this by 15 minutes and weren’t offered anything else.

The hotel staff were great and very friendly, my room was warm and comfortable.
The only I issue I had was whoever was in the room next door to room 32 was loud, by loud I mean snoring, I woke up at 4.40am and could not get back to sleep, now you may think its not the hotels fault but I say insulated walls maybe an option.
Anyway the hotel and staff were good, the breakfast WOW, beautiful and I stay away alot.
Im in another hotel now as I type this again through HOTELS.COM because of ease of use and service they too provide.
Thanks all.

What a great find, located within 10 minutes walk of the city, a straight drive to the motorway.
Great staff, decent room, spotlessly clean.
Would certainly return.

Lovely hotel and breakfast.

The room was great value for money, nice bonus to have parking and the included breakfast was great.
The room was right by the stairs, and the bed was against the wall that had the stairs on the other side. When people were getting to their rooms, it felt like they were in the room with me due to the thin wall and the noise. As a solo traveller, it made me feel quite uncomfortable.

Great experience: hot water for the shower, comfortable bed, well located, and great breakfast.

Pretty good location to the city centre. However way too much road noise, with the windows open due to the heat.

Great place just been refurbished. We had the studio very nicely decorated, very clean. Loved the shower very powerful and lots off hot water.
Breakfast was perfect.
I would highly recommend this hotel if you are in Exeter.

Staff were incredibly helpful and attentive.
My only critique was the television playing GB News, very off putting given how racially insensitive and libellous they are as a news channel.
Apart from that I had a wonderful stay

Smallish room and bathroom (4B), fine for an overnight stay.
Breakfast and staff were brilliant.

Stay here for the football in Exter. This is a great location on the outskirts of the city with onsite parking. The hotel is quiet modern and the beds are comfortable. There is plenty of choice when it come to breakfast in the morning, which is ordered via a waitress service.

I was placed in a room that I had stayed in earlier in the year. There were 2 major problems then and they were still there a few months later! I mentioned them as I was leaving and they are already aware of them! I said that it was not not right that they had not corrected them. There was also another thing wrong which has come to light on this stay. Avoid Room 8B just in case the problems are never fixed.

Great hotel, parking, also easy walk up into the city centre and Quay side . Staff very helpful and pleasant .
Room a bit on the warm side and also a lot of road noise hence 4 stars. Unfortunately this is something they can’t do anything about . I’d take ear plugs next time .

Lovely accommodation. Breakfast very adequate with lots of choice and well presented. On arrival receptionist could have been more helpful and welcoming. No lift available and rooms on the third floor made it difficult for us as two mature pensioners.

Very nice clean hotel , near bus stops and local pub, very filling breakfast.I would point out, however that there is no lift and if you are on the second floor there a quite a few stairs so if your mobility is not good consider asking for a ground floor room

Short 2 night break. Good location within walking distance of city centre and benefits free car parking with plenty of space. Hotel appears newly refurbished. Rooms quite small but more than adequate for short stay. Good quality breakfast, either continental or full english. Overall I would recommend this hotel for a dhort break.

The staff very helpful.
The breakfast was very good. Would definitely stay again if required.

The property is in very good condition - looks to be recently refurbished. The staff are friendly enough, though mostly seem a little distant. It would have got a higher score but the housekeeping was really haphazard. We had to remake the bed every night as the bottom sheet was tucked in tightly at the base and one side, so lose at top and the other side so that it wrinkled up and pillows left crumpled. Same with the duvet (who tucks in a duvet?) so that it didn't overhang on one side of the bed - my side of course!. The tea/coffee tray was not replenished and one day the dregs of the tea had been tipped into the sink, which had not been cleaned. And please put proper glasses in the room, not the flimsy paper cups that collapse as soon as you try to pick them up. After 3 days of use, they were probably not very hygienic either. Despite these shortcomings, we would stay here again and would love to give it a higher score if they sorted out these basic mistakes.
Note that the hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the centre and Exeter is on the top of a steep hill. Good for walking off the hearty cooked breakfast and all the excellent food avilable in town!

Room was too hot and, being on the front of the hotel, too noisy. A very efficient fan did help with the temperature.
Breakfast was good with efficient service. Good location, 5 minutes walk from Quayside and 15 from the Cathedral and City Centre.

Location ideal for visits to harbour and city

This is a decent privately run hotel offering a good rate. Very nice people and the room was small but absolutely fine.
My room was at the side of the hotel, and was quite noisy from the road outside. Next time, I will request a room at the rear!
Great breakfast

I stayed at this hotel for one night on a trip to Cornwall. I must say that the facility is well-maintained, and the room is clean and spacious. Breakfast is served. Normally, I prefer the buffet, but the service is fast and attentive.
Let's just say that it lacked the wow factor to earn a fifth star. The hotel's location, although conveniently located directly on a link road and not far from the city centre, is not in a particularly attractive part of Exeter.

Central to main city sites. Very comfortable, clean and very newly painted. Very good en suite features.
Only problem was noise and light from the main road. Thicker curtains maybe?
6.0 / 10.0
The property was basic but good for the price. Staff were very good and onsite parking is a huge bonus. My own my issue was how hot my room was and as I was at the front I couldn’t have the window open due to traffic. It was only 20/21 outside so if it had been a really hot day the room would have been unbearable.

Lovely hotel , staff friendly and hotel clean and comfortable
Great breakfast and good value for money
