There was a problem with the room, but the staff sorted it quickly and made sure I was looked after in the meantime. Really good breakfast.

Hi all This is my 2nd visit to the Telstar and it won't be my last. A short walk to the town and not far from the university to see my daughter. Fantastic breakfast, great staff very clean and cosy.👍

Lovley welcome. Room very cute. Lots of tea and coffe in room. And bottled water. Lovley temperature in room. No noise from other guests. Very comfy bed. Really cute little BnB. Very close to the city centre and amenities.

It's a nice enough hotel, close to the centre and either train station. There were several nice touches in the room, including a cafetiere. Nice big breakfast, served with a smile.

Nice clean room, great view, nice hot shower. Yummy breakfast, free parking and walking distance to the main centre of Exeter. Thanks for a lovely stay. :-)

Comfortable stay. Clean rooms. Cooked breakfast was tasty. Toilet seat was a bit dodgy - could do with fixing. Also would recommend upgrading the quality of the bed linen. Otherwise, quiet and comfortable.

The place is sold as a hotel but it is very very very small. The spaces are small the rooms are small. The bathroom is a cubby hole. The is being sold as a hotel but it is NOT and should not be marketed as such

It was good value for money. The room was a little “cell” like and the small wall mounted tv was partly obscured by the tall boy cupboard. But it was very clean, the staff were attentive and efficient.

It is fine for an overnight visit to Exeter. Hardest thing was finding the car park which has very narrow parking spaces especially when there are big SUVs there

We liked the fact it was quirky. Different in a really good way. The decor charming. The attention to eco ideas (recycling etc). We were delighted that the triple room was a double bedroom with the single in a small adjacent room. As we were travelling with an older family member whom we didn't want to sleep alone was an amaxing compromise. Sadly our stay was brief coming into Exeter by train late and moving on by plane early. The staff we met and the food we received were all excellent. Thank you.

We were delighted with our stay. The room was a great size with a comfy bed, storage and a sink (we booked a shared bathroom room). The shared bathroom was right next to the room and it felt like we had it to ourselves the whole weekend as we never had to wait. The breakfast was amazing, freshly cooked to order and happy with any changes you might want to make. Great location about a 5-10 minute walk away from the centre of Exeter. We couldn’t fault our stay and will definitely be staying again.

I fell in love with the Telestar Hotel! It is a sweet little B&B with an Alice in Wonderland theme focusing on the white rabbit. My room was small, but very comfortable. The breakfasts offered by this hotel set the gold standard for what I now will measure all other breakfasts against. The staff were kind and helpful. When I go back to Exeter, I will try to stay at the Telestar again. The only thing missing from the hotel was a Cheshire cat!

Arriving shortly after 10pm was handled well with a clear set of instructions. The property is clean, secure and there was a lovely broad selection of breakfast dishes.

This Bed and Breakfast Guesthouse is clean, pleasant and well located. The Staff are super helpful at reception and when serving breakfast. The breakfast is great, nothing is too much trouble. We arrived late, 11.30pm, but were given clear and functioning instructions for the key-safe, which gave us access to both the front door and the room. It's a bit of a warren so more instructions finding the room would be helpful but not essential. The car park is described as quirky. Spaces are limited but you leave your keys at reception and the staff move cars around as and when needed, so bring a spare key is my advise. The Telstar suited our purpose of a short stay, 2 nights, perfectly. Any problems? Maybe me but i don't remember being told that the bathroom/tolet was not en suite but shared.

Lovely stay for just one night, for myself and my dog. Very welcoming hosts, very helpful and friendly. Room was exactly what I expected. I only stayed to sleep and great value for money. Breakfast was amazing! Even Floss the dog got her very own breakfast. Very much enjoyed my stay and would stay again. Bathroom clean, hot good shower. Easy check in and out, Parking was simple.

The room was lovely. The shared bathroom was very nice and not shared with many rooms so no problems getting my shower at the times I wanted. Really charming building and decoration. It was very comfortable and the breakfast was really good. So convenient for St David's station and also close to the city centre.

I really loved this place! It's full of character, very welcoming, utterly charming. I was surprised to receive a full English breakfast, and was impressed that they are fully prepared to offer gluten-free options! My room was small, but it's exactly what I booked, and everything worked. I even had a little balcony! And I had a lovely hour sitting out in the little courtyard with a Devon cider (which the hotel sells), reading and listening to the tinkling water in the little fountain. I'd come to Exeter again just to stay here!!!
