Emily, Ava and Amy were wonderful. Their smiles and cheerfulness brightened our stay. We dined in the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner each day. The food and service were amazing! We were a bit confused when arriving about where to check in and went to the bar. The nice gentleman in the bar helped us find our way. Staying here was a wonderful experience and a lovely part of our vacation. We hope to stay there again.

Amazing property and the view is breath taking! We had a family suite and it was cozy large and clean! Right on the water in a small bay! You could not ask for anything better!

We absolutely loved staying at Eilean Iarmain. The property is gorgeous with truly the most beautiful views. It is peaceful and away from distractions, one can just come and stay here without going anywhere else and still feel the beauty of the Isle of Skye. The area has wonderful restaurants but our favorite meals were here so I would suggest just having your dinners here after a long day of driving about the Isle. There is the coziest of pubs here with the same great food and drinks- it's very popular so get there earlier than later. the boutiques next door were also beautiful and we bought some beautiful Scottish coat and scarfs here. We had a family suite ( upstairs and down) and the views from every window was gorgeous! last ut not least, the service was so wonderful, everyone we met was so nice. I dream about this place and hope to return some day.

Absolutely beautiful part of Skye. Lovely view of the water from our room.

I am so glad we found this place. It was exactly as portrayed: an historic (and idiosyncratic) small inn/hotel; not fancy, very straightforward; on the water in a wonderful location; a great kitchen punching way above its weight. But the best part was its staff. Warm, genuine. I felt cared about by every staff member I interacted with. Kudos.

This gorgeous hotel was exactly what we needed. It was calm, gorgeous view and super helpful staff! I definitely want to go back!

Beautiful secluded property with a fantastic view! We loved our stay here. Staff was always pleasant and helpful. Would definitely return!

We arrived very late - our room types were standard double, but we clearly had the ones no one else wanted. I will preface that the location was amazing, the staff great with their communication and the beds comfortable. But it was old, the carpet was dirty and the bathroom was tiny. It was not worth the money for a room of the standard we given. The breakfast was ok, the bacon burned and the coffee machine wasn’t on, I was told they couldn’t flick the switch and turn it on. If it wasn’t over $300 a night - then this would be something to overlook. But at over $300, they need to step it up a little.

Great little place for a short stay. Staff very friendly and amenable. Room clean if a little small, or cosy if you prefer! Stunning location and near to main road.
Disappointing dining options, several choices not available as associated bar serving food opens early.

We had a very comfortable stay at this hotel. Our room had a beautiful view of the light house. Food was delicious at the venue. We loved their full scottish breakfast and fish & chips. Staff was friendly and very helpful.

From the arrival, staff was really friendly and attentive, giving all information about the facilities. The room with private bathroom was quite nice, clean and amazingly quiet, which impressed us most. Really nice to rest and wind down.
Breakfast was nice, the pub excellent, really nice to interact with others. External tables and seats for enjoying the sun and the bay also brought a nice sense of nature in the surroundings.
An excellent choice in Skye!

The staff at Eileen Iarmain went out of their way to be helpful and friendly and made our stay very enjoyable. The rooms are somewhat small but have everything you need. We stayed during a heat wave and the only thing we had to ask for was a fan. Other than that, the staff really went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.

Great place, so quaint, beautiful views, great food and friendly atmosphere.

This is a wonderful hotel and was a highlight of our trip to Scotland. The hotel is lovely and so welcoming. The staff are over and above and we had fun chatting with them whether in the pub, restaurant or front office. We had a couple of early starts so missed the breakfast timing so instead they made us a great picnic lunch to take on our days out exploring. Dinner was fabulous. Our room had an incredible view and lots of space to enjoy a couple of days. Thoroughly recommend this wonderful hotel.

Spectacular scenery, very kind staff, and many amenities onsite - restaurant, pub, boutique, and whisky shop. The included breakfast was very nice and our family of 4 was comfortable in the family suite. It was the best stop of our weeklong stay in Scotland.

We had an amazing experience at Eilean Iarmain. My daughter and I were only there for one night as a place to sleep and shower before checking out the Isle of Skye. We arrived ten minutes before the kitchen closed, and they offered to make us something to eat before the chef left for the night. The hotel and room itself were beautiful and clean. The views from the hotel were amazing. In a world where customer service is a thing of the past, the employees at Eilean Iarmain were exceptional. They were very concerned with our comfort and making sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend staying here, and will do exactly that on my next visit to Skye!

Fabulous hotel ! The location is perfect, right by the water. The staff are excellent, food is great. Our room was beautiful and spotlessly clean. We would love to stay again soon.

Loved our room and enjoyed the views. Staff were lovely and helpful particularly at the restaurant. However one of our servers cut himself and was bleeding while cleaning our table which was a bit off putting.
4.7
The most beautiful place, incredible setting by the ocean! The suites are just as amazing! Love the details, real candles for dinner, cute pub, distillery in premises and the most wonderful staff, you can’t go wrong! It was so much more than we expected! Would love to be back some day!

Beautiful location on the south part of Skye. Very friendly and helpful staff. Made us feel very welcome and looked after. We enjoyed a wee whisky tasting of their own whisky’s and got to play a little music in the pub for the staff after work. Very lovely experience! Close to Armidale castle and museum - very good museum to learn some history of area and people. Would love to go back.

This is a gem of a hotel, tucked away off the main road overlooking a small harbour and next to a small shop selling tweeds etc, a gin distillery and a building used as an art gallery. All very traditional styled buildings and very tranquil. Very friendly staff, spotless room with a very comfortable bed, a complimentary sample bottle of their gin or whisky…they have their own too…was very welcome.
Comfortable lounge with a warm traditional feel yet bright and airy. Alongside and part of the hotel is a lovely traditional bar, great selection of whiskies and good food.
Food at the hotel is very seafood based, all locally sourced and very fresh. A big bonus to the hotel stay. Breakfast is equally good with a selection of dishes. Definitely a hotel to come back to.

Beautiful room - very spacious, full of character. Clean. Luxurious bed. Nice shower and bathroom. Unbelievable Scottish breakfast!!!! Staff went the extra mile. Arrived late evening after the restaurant closed but still inquired if we had eaten and if we wanted a meal prepared. Beautiful location on the water.
