Grand old building and fabulous bar / lobby area with views over the loch and the surrounding mountains.
The quality of the bed could have been better.

The location was lovely. The whiskey bar was an added bonus

Staff didnt make us feel welcome, bathroom door was really difficult to open, not the best shower

- Excellent room and well fitted out
- Great location with a beautiful view of the loch
- Food was not great
- Staff except the nice young girl, were very busy and not acting very hospitable
- 4pm check in time left us waiting outside for 2 hours because the hotel only opens at 4pm

loved the warm welcome, the setting, the room and view from the room. Also the whiskey bar and hosts were amazing.

The location is perfect, it has a great view and it's in a quiet part of the area. The staff is very helpful and friendly, and I got the feeling of being a guest at someone's home, it was a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere, very different from your regular impersonal hotel experience.
The room was very cold at night.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The Lodge had a great location and was very comfortable.
The road was very busy but nothing can be done about that.

Very nice location in front of the lake and very friendly staff

Amazing morning view towards the Loch. Super friendly staff, provided with plenty of guidance for local visits and food recommendations. The Whisky Bar is perfect to finish a day of visiting and walking around.

Owners were friendly and welcoming.
Room was comfortable.
Great selection of drinks in the bar (especially whiskies!)
Breakfast buffet and cooked breakfast options including vegetarian options.
Homecooked pizzas available in the bar.
Good location, we were able to easily get to Glencoe, Fort William, Appin and Glenfinnan by car.
It would be nice to maybe have more of a variety of vegetarian options on the menu for breakfast (e.g. tomatoes, mushrooms etc.) but that was the only thing! We really enjoyed our stay.

true highland hospitality with Angela a real gem! A lovely lounge and amazing whiskey bar. Super clean!
The breakfast could be so much better, but I know they are struggling for staff like a lot of other businesses.

this was a quintessentially Scottish b&b experience. The owner Clair was accommodating and friendly, she helped us get a reservation at an outstanding local seafood restaurant and Angela educated us at the extensive whiskey bar. The view alone is worth a stay, the hospitality made it the most memorable stop on our Scotland tour.

Fantastic staff, very comfortable lounge area. Great bar snacks . Good selection for breakfast.
If I had to be super critical it would be lack of Wi-Fi in bedrooms.

The lodge is beautiful and in a great location for exploring the area. The staff are incredibly hospitable and our evening in the lounge was lively from the atmosphere to the brinks to the nachos😘

Nothing but the shower
The smell of moth balls, no WiFi in the room, view of a carpark the overpriced amount. We've stayed at two other hotels on this trip that were both £100 and absolute luxury. Chop your price by 50%

A very comfortable and well appointed property with a large bright lounge bar area. We were a small group of 3 male cyclists, we booked a triple room which was ideal for us. We received excellent service throughout our stay and enjoyed the full Scottish breakfast which set us up for the next days cycling.

4.5
Charming lodge, well located after a long drive through the high lands, parking within the property. The sitting room with fire place was lovely to relax and enjoy a dram of whisky. The rooms were impeccably clean, tidy and well kept. Beddings were crisp and fresh. Continental Breakfast delightfully simple and good. Best of all is the warm reception and guest services provided by Claire and her team of two.
Nothing! our expectations were well managed with regard to the services available during these Covid times and practices.

The breakfasts were excellent. Full Scottish breakfast was excellent, especially local black haggis. Evening bar meals were also of excellent quality.
The view from our ground floor room was brilliant - loch and mountains !
The staff worked as a team and were all very friendly and ensured we had everything we needed.

Beautiful location and really lovely room.
If there is anything that I would change is the pillows. But this is minor, everything was great.
