This was the cheapest property I could find in an incredibly expensive Inverness City Centre and it was just a room with a shower and a toilet however, it was very walkable to the city centre, parking was free and I would stay there again.

Perfect location away from the bustle and noises of the town and just a short walk to shops and dining options. Parking was convenient and felt safe. The unit was very clean with clean linens and a spacious bathroom for our family. The only downside was that we didn't get wifi in our website, as it was located off the rear of the house and was too far from the signal. Overall excellent experience and would stay here again.

Interesting location . Small room and clean location . Our only complaint was we could hear our neighbor. Bakery nearby was great option for breakfast and if room had fridge or common room to stay and have fast food it would be a good travel option at stay at . Thanks

There was bed and bathroom and the room was clean. The room had nearly no storage or hanging possibilities. However, it was very easy to park and it's just a few minutes walk to the center of the city. The area seemed safe and cozy.

Stay was disappointing. Firstly, the hotel insists on charging your card and storing your credit card information in their system (with the CVV code) as part of their policy, which differs from their policy stated on the Hotels.com website when you opt for "Pay at Property". The guesthouse will email you 2 days before your check in date mandating that your booking would be at risk if you don't share this information. The Hotels.com relocation desk could not offer any assistance. Ultimately, I had to volunteer the CVV code to salvage our trip and also because the cost of staying elsewhere at the last minute was very high. The only positives were the free parking and central location. There are 2 houses with 3 rooms on each of their two floors. Our room was on the first floor and there's no lift or elevator for luggage. The walls are REALLY thin. We could hear the TV from the room on the other side of the hallway. The room was cramped with the twin beds in poor shape. The springs creaked and the bed was definitely bent from the middle. Housekeeping is on request only and you have to specify what needs to be cleaned/changed. Yet, when you return, half the requests are ignored. The bathroom was tiny and the shower/hot water system was quite bad. The shower area had no space for soap/bottles. The heating element was fixed right next to the toilet, making it uncomfortable to use the toilet without getting burnt. Room has tea coffee and kettle. No safe. No fridge. Avoid.

The room was very clean and comfortable, 5/5 for the property, although it’s far away from central. The only thing I’ve found terrible was the booking settings with a cancellation of my payment(for no reason), not confirmation of the booking and poor costumer support on e-mail or over phone to solve the situation. Overall, the room is great, the costumer service not much.

The lady who helped me, Margaret, was so amazing and helpful. The hotel is great, the rooms is great, its superb value, and the service is superb. And the owner goes out of her way to help you. Me and Margaret do massively disagree on the key situation, and i firnly believe that two people in a room each deserve a key, as not all people sharing a room stay together 24/7, and thos can caise absolutelyhige inconveniences, but thats just my own personal opinion. I do think this hotel is outstanding, and i will be staying here many more times in futire. I have also recommended it to friends, who will use it on their trip to inverness. Thanks to Margaret and Staff for helping me have an awesome stay. You are simply brilliant!!

We had a lovely night here. Check in was friendly and easy, just a short stroll away. The only negative, as others have mentioned, was the footsteps from upstairs, and the smoking/drinking area right outside our room. Location was excellent for a walk into town for dinner and the bakery for breakfast.

Alban and Abbey House proved to be an excellent choice for two nights in Inverness. It is an easy walk from the centre of town, and has ample parking. The area is very quiet. The rooms are clean and extremely well-appointed, and everything worked as it should. Note that check in and key collection is at a different property a few blocks away.

Nice guest house!! Very helpful hosts especially when it came to the stupid electric car we rented!! So well located!!! Inverness so easy to walk to!! A fabulous bakery around the corner called The Bakery.

Check in easy. Short walk to property. Lovely room, spacious, comfortable and very very clean (NO DUST AT ALL). Housekeeping deserve a pay rise. Never stayed anywhere as clean. Negatives…. Bedroom door sticks a bit so you have to push quite hard, perhaps shave a little off door to make it easier. Floorboards in room above very creaky. But not that big an issue. So overall, much more positive than negative. Would definitely stay again.
