Convenient hotel near Shinjuku Central Station. Great location, clean rooms, service including washing machines, ice machine and mini cosmetics. Everything a guest needs!
2.5
Amazing hotel located conveniently 3-5min from Shinjuku station south exit. This area is the quieter side of Shinjuku yet still walkable to all the action in Kabukicho within 10-15min.
The twin room was spacious and a nice shower with strong water pressure. Hotel has self laundry service on multiple floors.
The only complaint about the room is the bed is spring type and a bit hard for American standard.
Front desk speaks basic to fluent English. I really appreciate them helping with luggage forwarding by filling out the form for us.

The staff is helpful. Will come again if travel to Japan again.

Great and safe location — short walk to Shinjuku Station which is a major hub of many metro and JR lines; next door to a convenience store. Efficient and clean — as with most (all?) things Japanese, the hotel works! Very strict late check-out policy, though.
2.5
Great location minutes away from Shinjuku station. Wonderful staff were such a joy and were attentive to our needs when we discovered that the toilet was backed up in our room. Very quiet and exceptionally clean. Will absolutely stay here again on a return trip!

We stayed here in Nov 2024 for our first 3 nights in Tokyo. Hotel is in an excellent location next to Shinjuku station. The staff are friendly, helpful and English speaking. They sorted out luggage storage and delivery to Kyoto no problem. The room was very comfortable and well equipped. Bed was large and firm with space to walk round either side of the bed. We loved that there was a steamer and a range of charging points. The bathroom and toiletries supplied were great. We thought the nightly rate was high for the area but luckily we used hotel.com rewards! Would highly recommend staying here for convenience and comfort!

Great location. Friendly staff. Quiet rooms and comfortable beds.

Staff was amazing, they really went out of their way to make recommendations at a future stay and also helped with facilitating luggage transfer. Truly great team! Would come back to again. Room is a bit small but it’s inline with the location and price

The decor made the rooms feel airy and the shower was great. Bed was on the hard side, so our son liked it even though we prefer something softer. Supplies in the bathroom were thoughtful. Towels could have been more substantial, though. Breakfast buffet was very nice - western and Asian. Staff were lovely. Good location near Shinjuku Station, Lumine malls, and eateries.
2.5
Great location in Shinjuku South. There’s a McDonalds nearby for a very quick meal with other great options within walking distance.
Room was small like all across Japan. Room amenities were great.
Staff were friendly and very helpful.
Check in was quick.
Room and hotel super clean.

Lovely hotel great staff and really good location
2.5
The room was spacious that we were fine even with our 3 check in luggages and 2 carry on. The customer service is so nice and they also do such a good job cleaning your room. I honestly already miss their toilet and water pressure in the shower lol the best part about this hotel is the location! It’s right next door to a Lawson so it was nice and convenient to get breakfast/snacks and it’s sooo close to the Shinjuku train station. The nearest exit is less than a 5 min walk and the main one is only a little further away. Even when we accidentally took the wrong stop on the train, it was only a 10 min walk back to the hotel. If we stay in the area again, will definitely book this hotel again.

Great location. Rooms very good, but on the small side. To be expected staying in Shinjuku location.
2.5
Great location, close to train station. A lot of eateries in the streets and department stores. Hotel is very clean, lobby staff were friendly. We were on the 15th floor, corner room, so it has a great view. It also has laundry machines located on several floors. So I did a load of laundry, real convenient.

Last day of stay(4days), noticed someone was smoking on our floor.
This was only negative point, otherwise everything were great.

The Tokyu Stay Hakodate Hotel is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting Hakodate. From the moment we arrived, the reception staff provided exceptional service, making us feel welcome and well cared for. The hotel's facilities are excellent, with the added convenience of in-room laundry and a kitchenette, making it ideal for longer stays. One of the standout features is the onsen, which offers both indoor and outdoor bathing options with breathtaking views of the sea, city, and mountains—truly a serene experience.
As part of the hotel's eco-friendly approach, the rooms are not fully serviced daily, but they do provide a daily change of towels and clear the trash, which was a thoughtful balance between sustainability and comfort. The location couldn’t be better—right next to the bustling morning markets and just a few minutes' walk from the train station, tram, and bus services, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city.
The room size was reasonable for Japan, offering a cosy but comfortable space to relax after a day of sightseeing. Overall, I highly recommend Tokyu Stay Hakodate for its excellent service, modern amenities, and perfect location.

Good location, just a couple of minutes walk from Shinjuku train and bus station. Helpful staff at reception. Nice breakfast with lots of choice for both Japanese and western. View from the room (11th floor) of the city was a great sight.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The location made it easy to get anywhere (although it is a very busy area). The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Very clean and great location. The breakfast was so good! Only drawback was not much storage space.

Very convenient location. Airport limousine transfer is 4-5 mins away from Keio place/Shinjuku station and just next to Sunroute hotel if bus timing allowed.
Room a bit small but is v clean.

Proffesional and efficient staff. Lovely quiet hotel with good access to transport nearby but breakfast was a bit basic. Overall would book again.

Location is superb, 1 min walk away from Shinjuku station, lots of eateries and shops nearby. Room is slightly bigger than Japan hotel standard, clean.

excellent location in Shinjuku, walk to the shopping mall, lots of restaurant around the hotel.

Great location for Shinjuku Station and exploring Shinjuku area and beyond. The room was small but comfortable with everything we needed. The bed was a little bit firm but we got used to it. A nice range of toiletries, tea, coffee and water were supplied daily, with additional amenities available in the lobby. Due to a delayed flight we arrived just before midnight and couldn’t get in to the hotel until another guest came along (the doors are locked after 11pm). There was a number displayed to call but we didn’t need to do that. We ate breakfast in the hotel one morning which was good. I would recommend this hotel if you want to be close to the station. It’s also close to the pickup and drop off points for the airport limousine bus. There’s a Lawson’s almost next door and other combinis very close by.

The amenities for this hotel was really excellent! Hot and cold water machine by the hallway was a surprise. Close to a lot convenience stores and shopping area, and restaurants. Very clean, smells so nice as soon as you walk in. Very friendly staff. Would stay here again!

This was a great hotel. The beds were a bit hard but the location was great. We walked home at 1am on a Monday night and it I never felt unsafe. Several younger folks walking around the area. i would definitely recommend staying there.

Stayed here before. Great location, rooms quiet, small but well appointed & very clean. Laundry available on every 3rd floor with ice & amenity machines. 5 mins walk to Shinjuku station, restaurants, shopping & nightlife.

Very chique, modern hotel.

Centrally located in Shinjuku. We had a standard room. It was a bit small for all our luggage (we just came off hiking Fuji and traveling for a week). Staff were amazing. My only suggestion would be to have a bar :)

Very upscale, quiet hotel. Staff is nice and helpful and are able to communicate with some English. Daily breakfast was good and had a “good amount of vegetarian/vegan options,” per a friend I traveled with. The hotel is also close to Shinjuku station and the shopping mall there. It’s also in walkable distance to many other restaurants, stores, and convenience stores (7-11 and Lawson’s).

Look for blossom restaurant and hotel is at walkway right there

Excellent breakfast buffet with Japanese and Western options, including an omelet station. Beds are firm and comfortable. Aircon is powerful enough for a muggy August. Location is very convenient to Shinjuku Station and neighborhood.
2.0
Location is excellent, 1 of the closest hotel to Shinjuku Station you can get. Room looks fairly new, although a bit f moulding can be seen here and there in the toilet area. Room is spacious, can easily open 2 or more large luggages. Lawson and McDonald are just within 1 minute walk. A few drawbacks: The wifi is a bit slow and unstable, often disconnects or just freezes every now and then. Also, the design of the toilet sink is a bit strange, one needs to keep pressing down the sink stopper in order to let the water flow down quickly, otherwise water flows extremely slowly. Also, there are only USB-C ports in the room, no other USB ports available, which is fairly inconvenient for older iPhone users. But all in all, a good choice in Tokyo and we will choose to stay here next time for sure.

Very clean, friendly staff, great location!
