It wasn't a hostel I felt particularly comfortable at - the dorm room was rather tiny with no real storage space, the bed very short (1.90m) and its curtains not even covering the whole length, the bunks metal rods rather outdated, the room door very squeaky with its handle everything other than smooth to operate. On the upside, staff is super friendly and the place kept very clean!

One of main reasons I chose this hostel, was it said it had on-site parking. They have 4 parking spaces in the back. The woman said I could park on the side streets, but those were 2P areas. The first person I met in the hostel was high of his rocker, talking about demons in the sky and whatnot. I get hostels are hit or miss, but this was a bit much. Small rooftop with 3 lazy chairs. Each floor did have a small tv area. dining area was okay with a tv 3 or four long tables, and a kitchen next to it. Breakfast was standard, bread and jam and cereal available. There was one convenient store a 3 minute walk away, maybe a McDonalds. Started in a 4 bed mixed dorm, had a bathroom attached. Light in the bathroom was movement activated and wouldn't turn off for a while, which was annoying if you were the bed next to it, light seeping around the edges. Was going to move to a private room, but the cost was the same as a decent hotel. I opted to just go to a decent hotel in a better location and more food options near it. Had booked 5 nights, but only stayed one. No refund given for any nights unused, not even a partial refund. Was looking to save money, but decided I wanted comfort over cost. I guess a decent place for backpackers and cheapish long-term stays.

It was a nice enough place and the people both working and staying there were nice. Had fun hanging out watching Netflix with everyone in the lounge at night. There is a lounge on every floor equipped with a mini fridge, so you can store stuff there or in the main kitchen off the lobby. The Air Con was abysmal in my room and it felt almost damp in there. If I was staying for one more night I would have asked to switched rooms. Also I was in a four bedroom share, and I’m not sure how many there were on the floor, but we had to share a singular handicap toilet/shower between the floor. It was very strange and we were constantly having to go to other floors in order to use the bathroom. The free breakfast was fine, some cereal and bread which I’ve come to learn is common fare in Australia hostels. This place is good for a quick stay, I personally wouldn’t plan anything long term here. But again - really nice people and it’s all no worries :)

I really enjoyed my short time at Breeze Lodge. The staff were so friendly and everything is new, clean and well organised. Lockers in both the bedroom and kitchen. Great breakout space and rooftop terrace. There were tips on what to do for free and a basic breakfast (toast, spreads and cereals) included!

Really good stay, however the kitchen is bit small especially at busy periods. Ensuite room very nice but as we were next to the lounge was a bit noisy late at night

The hostel looks vibrant to me when I first arrived on July 25. The ceiling of the room was so tall that I could stand on the upper deck of the bed without kneeling down. The staff were friendly too.

This place is a great new build that is a perfect youth hostel. Staff are friendly and helpful. Its a little bit out of the city and is best to get a boat across the river. The City Hopper (the red one) is a free and regular service so you can get to the city pretty quick. I would go here again it was a clean modern hostel.

Couldn’t say a bad word at all about Breeze Lodge, very clean and modern Hostel with brilliant and attentive staff. Great facilities and good quality rooms. Placed brilliantly just on the edge of the city with easy access to some great nightlife. Highly recommend.
