This is a special hotel in historic Wallace. I like the renovation style, boutique furniture, and nice environment. The room is very specious. Lots of restaurants nearby.

Really great old school hotel. All the rooms are up a flight of stairs so look elsewhere if that's an issue for you.

We enjoyed our stay. Room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is very centrally located near a number of excellent restaurants.

Great place. Wished we could have stayed longer. Would definitely recommend and will stay again!

Ryan Hotel is a very nice old west hotel. However, it doesn’t TV, although it does have good internet. Also, some rooms are not air conditioned, but that may or may not be a problem, depending on the weather. The hotel is right in town and very convenient to restaurants, shops and tours.

Owner Donna was very nice and room was clean and quite.

Such an awesome place, nice and quiet. Comfortable and owner was very kind.

This is a heritage hotel thus one shouldn’t expect every “modern” convenience. That said this hotel is very comfortable, very clean, the hot water is very hot and the cold is cold. We stayed a Monday and Tuesday night and had a room facing the Main Street. We had the windows open and were not troubled by any street noise. The owner Donna is a lovely, calm soul and willing to help in any way she can. The wifi was fast and reliable and the coffee and the light breakfast available in the morning was a nice start to the day. I would definitely stay at the Ryan again!

Donna is so welcoming to her guests she makes you feel at home. It's really nice that they have many menus from the local restaurants so you can choose a place at your leisure.

I consider myself very fortunate to have spent an evening at the Ryan Hotel. They provided me with everything I needed to know upon my arrival and my room was very comfortable (it did include a bathroom). To be honest, I feel they should be writing a review about me, and not the other way around, since I failed to abide by one of the instructions in the bathroom about not twisting the shower knob too hard! I felt bad about that, but they did not hold it against me. The area around the hotel is very walkable, and you can easily park on the street. I had a microwave in my room that I used to make oatmeal in the morning. They did a good job of communicating when I needed to arrive, and so that did not become an issue.

Hostess Donna was welcoming. Very clean place. Walkable to all restaurants and shopping. Quaint historic hotel and town.

We stayed at the Ryan Hotel in historic Wallace, Idaho. The hotel was set in a historic manor and dated
- reminded me of staying at my grandmas house. The hotel highlighted the filming of Dante's Peak. No TV and breakfast was a granola bar, fruit and juice/coffee.

Very quaint and rustic motel….like a step back in time. But the entire town of Wallace is like that…. So it fit right in!
Quiet, beds nice, comfortable stay. Nice host, whom was welcoming at first then we never saw her again. Front desk unmanned after check in time- becomes self serve after that…. But that worked out ok too.👍

Donna was very kind. She provided us with suggestions of where to go in town. The room was representative of the time period. Everything was clean and welcoming.

Donna met us at the entrance with a warm welcome. She escorted us to our room and was very helpful with recommendations for dining and things to do. Continental breakfast was a nice touch. We highly enjoyed recommend this property.

This our third stay at the Ryan Hotel. We love staying here - clean, good parking, easy check-in/out process.

Old school charm!
Very clean and comfortable.

Donna was a great host. She had another room where we could store our bikes and bike boxes.

You are greeted by a long staircase to climb, there is no elevator. The room is barebones basic, but quiet with comfortable bed. There is pleasant host and a small but good continental breakfast. Do not agree with the rave reviews and definitely overpriced.

Loved the preservation of the era. Super friendly hostess.

The owner was great! The bed wasn’t the best that’s the only complaint!

Best hotel in town.

Very quaint and comfortable. It’s a well kept 100 year old hotel so not what would be expected in a modern hotel but well worth the stay. Friendly informative owner checked me in at 8 pm. Probably busy in summer season but only 10 miles from skiing at Lookout

Very convenient. Walk to restaurants and brew pubs. Very helpful staff. Old timey. Easy street parking but no guarantee of finding a space right out front. Quiet and quaint.

Delightful stay at the Ryan Hotel. Family run business. The family was as sweet as you would want. The room was just what I needed. There was no TV...which was perfect! Who needs a TV in this quaint old town?! Super comfortable bed. I would definitely stay here again!

Nice old property. Pluses: helpful owner, clean place and with nice old touches; well located near everything in town. Minuses: Upstairs only. Breakfast is minimal. Dimly lit.

Charming little town and a very nice hotel. Stayed the Dante Peak room and got a nice sense of the place. The owners were very nice and helpful. Awesome stay!

Charming older hotel. Donna checked us in and made sure we had everything we needed. The room was clean and comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay at the Ryan Hotel, however, there is no air conditioning and the rooms were quite warm. We kept the windows open, though they did not have screens, so we had a few pesky flies to deal with. We would have also loved to have had more ice available. Ice was provided in very limited quantities in a small freezer/fridge near the front desk.

Buyer beware: I would love to give this hotel a great review because the staff was so kind and happy. And if you want "historic" and "old fashioned" I guess you might like it. But the only reason we stayed here is because it received high ratings which, in my mind, are unjustified. No A/C (it was a minimum of 80 degrees in the room and no way to bring in a breeze--- the window literally opened up to a brick wall 3 feet away), no elevator (you ring the bell and staff runs down stairs just to let you in), sketchy WiFi, "breakfast" of a few granola bars and a banana or apple, and generally run down. To top it off our rate was $180 which I would have never paid had I seen the property ahead of time.

Donna and the staff were friendly and helpful. We loved our stay at the Ryan Hotel and will definitely return.

I was upset that there wasn't an elevator and the hotel was a flight and 1/2 up the stairs. The wi-fi was sketchy at best. There was a small fan, no TV, and the shower was tiny. The breakfast was coffee, juice and nutri-grain bars!!
