Would recommend this hotel. Clean, friendly and cant beat the harbor view.

Nice hotel, very clean, located on the marina. It is within walking distance of the bridge, museum, park and welcome center, and the restaurants. However, it is several blocks away from the bridge, approximately 1/2 mile. It is pretty dark in the area at night..

It was fine, nothing special. The continental breakfast was horrific, the pillows flat and unsupportive. I had to ask for another and stack them. But it was clean and the front desk people were nice. Good location, convenient to everything.

This is a nice, quiet, smaller property that we really enjoyed. The only downside: the parking is a little confusing.

The hotel is lovely and clean. The breakfast was good but both mornings the food ran out and we all waited for everything from eggs to coffee. It wasn't that crowded, there just lacked service personel.

Nice hotel in a convenient area for watching barges and hitting the stores and restaurants but quite overpriced for a Fairfield.

The view was great room was big with plenty of room to move around and in a great location with great views

My only disappointment was we paid for a harbor view and most of the view was parking lot and small portion of the harbor. Little bit misrepresented.

The rooms were spacious, and very clean
The breakfast was good, good variety.
The dining room was lovely, lots of tables, room for everyone.
It's a little far from downtown, all up hill.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Nice little hidden gem! Still close to canal park and great for being able to see ships coming into the harbor!

Great area, beautiful view, and manageable walking distance from park point shops.

It was an average stay at an above-average price. 'Harbor View Suite' was actually 'An excellent view of the parking lot' kind of room.
2.0 / 5.0
The hotel was great but the pool was tiny. The exterior photos are very misleading. The hotel is next to a boat yard and the view is industrial.

The staff was awesome and the property location is the best.

You share the facility with RV's on the property so makes for some limited parking if out a little later in the evening.

Price, location, cleanliness, size of the room, perfect for a 3 day travel arrangement.

The chair to help the handicap into the pool was not working because the battery was dead. Always good to have a back up battery. The doors for the rooms are very loud. Even if you try to slowly close the door it is loud. I could even hear other peoples doors when they went in and out of the room. The breakfast bar was scary when it came to the unique looking eggs. Having an option of everything omelette and another option would have been nice. On a positive side the front deck workers were very nice and the room was relaxing.

There were cards under the air conditioner from a previous stay. When the air conditioner came on we all started sneezing. We took the filter out and it was full of dust and grime

Newer Mariott/Fairfield property, so most amenities are in good shape. The rooms are huge, which is great for families.
The bathrooms need work, as the shower pan caulking is peeling, the glass shower doors slam easily, the toilet seat does not soft close (so it slams when your kids close it), and the bathroom lighting is mismatched (2700K and daylight leds). The bathrooms could be stocked according to the number of beds in the room. There were only towels for two in a double-queen room, so we had to ask for extras from the front desk.
The continental breakfast is decent, waffle makers, oatmeal, bagels, yogurts, cereals, juices, eggs, hashbrowns and sausages. The indoor pool is deceivingly small, having only enough room for maybe 2-3 families at a time (most people probably aren't coming here for the pool though).
Photos overlooking the marina are a little misleading as the orientation of the building aligns with Park Point Inn, and the boatyard. But that didn't really affect our stay.
Beds were OK at best, as the sheet set doesn't fit, the mattresses are uncomfortably stiff, and my kids fought over the covers because they didn't seem ti be big enough.
Overall, a good fit for short stays or small family getaways.

Close to Downtown Duluth and within walking distance. The hotel was clean.
Cool view of the harbor and the lift bridge.
Breakfast needs improvement. Every morning most breakfast items were gone or just scraps left.
Bed Pillows are awful.
The last morning of our stay there was no hot water for showers.

It was a wonderful stay. The front desk workers were so kind and friendly. The only downside was the bed was like sleeping on a rock it was so hard and hurt my back.

Very nice rooms, staff and amazing views of Lake Superior.

All areas inside were well kept and clean, staff was pleasant and knowledgeable. Parking was a bit of a challenge.

Very quiet and clean hotel with kind staff. The pool was teeny tiny so our kids were disappointed. We enjoyed the location as it was easy to walk over to Canal Park and to Park Point Beach.

We liked this hotel a lot! We've stayed at every hotel in Canal Park, plus Beacon Point, Fitgers, and Edgewater, and this was impeccablely clean, the facilities didn't show wear and tear, and it was quiet. The breakfast was on par with every hotel. There wasn't a hot tub, which we would have liked, nor balconies or a dedicated outside space to hang out. Overall the stay was lovely and the staff professional.

Nice newer hotel. The breakfast had quite a few options and was constantly being refreshed. I had never thought to stay on the other side of the bridge before but might make this my first choice when going to Duluth.

Our stay was almost perfect. The only issue was the policy of not cleaning the rooms on a daily basis without an extra fee.

I had a wonderful time

I thought for the price the room was a little small, and you can hear the neighbors pretty easily. With that being said, the bed was very comfortable and the pillows made sleep come easy. The room was very clean as was the rest of the building. Shower and bathroom were nice. Wish there were double sinks because my wife hogged the only one. We didn’t eat the breakfast because we went out both mornings we were there. Also didn’t use any of the other amenities.
