We stayed in the one bedroomed cottage, which was very quaint but a bit outdated. Everywhere was very clean though. A really nice base for us to travel around.

Great location on a working farm very friendly, nice and clean with a view of the hill sides , we stayed in Daisy cottage it was all on one level with a disabled access shower which was great , near by walks taking in the beauty of the peak district national park, local pubs for great food, we would definitely return .

Lazy Daisys Farm was perfect we booked for three nights to see in the New Year and we were not disappointed it was so peaceful. We stayed in Moon Penny Cottage as there were six of us one being a five year old. The cottage was a dream the photos don’t do it justice we had the perfect New Year’s Eve we also visited Yorkshire Wildlife Park during our stay and it was one of the best places we have been to. We will certainly be back.

We had an amazing 4 day Christmas break in this lovely cottage. Location was great. Sally and Andrew were very welcoming. 100% recommend.
4.7
Cleanliness was not up to standard. Cobwebs in every room. No hot water after the first night. Dirty pans left in the oven. Bathroom could do with a deep clean shower curtain needs replacing. Hosts were nice and friendly. Parking good, bed very comfortable.

Clean, fresh bed linen. Very warm. Tea, coffee, milk etc. on arrival - also a home baked cake! On a working farm but no particular noise. Our 2 small dogs were accommodated too. Lovely views

Beautiful views, wonderfully located for the Peak District or Sheffield area. The farmhouse itself had a lot of character but there were some troublesome quirks. First, we had no contact from the owners whatsoever; we had to figure out how to get into the property by troubling the neighbors, who said they have nothing to do with the property but normally the door is open and the keys are inside. The WiFi was also down the entire time and nobody answered calls at the numbers or e-mails left for the property. The showers are also pretty troublesome; they had very low pressure and were these cheap little plastic button-operated jobs that could only produce freezing cold water or scalding hot water, and it seemed impossible to get a medium mix. Perhaps the property managers were indisposed and we had no method of communication because we booked through Expedia? Unfortunate, as this could have been an absolutely perfect stay; the property itself is nice and perfectly located and just as pictured on the page. (The house had a bit of a musty or pet smell, but I guess the property allows pets so this isn't so unusual. It wasn't too bad.)

We had a lovely family holiday with everything that you need to be comfortable. On arrival we were greeted and essentials like tea, coffee, sugar, milk were available. What really make it special was Sally had made a really a delicious lemon drizzle cake. The location was excellent with easy access to local attraction. As a family we will certainly recommend the cottage to family and friends. The only thing missing was an egg flip but don’t worry folks because we bought one and left it for you to use

Entirely met our expectations. Good location for the Wedding we went to in Sheffield and reception in Lower Bradfield. We were made to feel most welcome. The Honey and Eggs on sale at the entrance to the farm are delicious. Blessed with good weather conditions the views were great as was a morning run around Langsett Reservoir.

This was our 4th time in one of the lazy daisy cottages. It has everything we need. Just 10 minutes drive to Penistone and supermarkets. Langsett reservoir and woods just a few mins away. It's just beautiful. The duck eggs that we bought from the farm were delicious and so is the honey. This time we were lucky enough to be able to feed 3 orphan lambs. We will be returning again!

This was our 3rd stay in a lazy daisy cottage. It's easy to find and a great base for visiting the peaks, south Yorks etc. The cottages are spotless and have everything you'll need. A washing machine would be useful but it's no problem that there isn't. We found the cottages really warm and cosy even with high winds and heavy rain. The cake as a welcome always goes down well! I'm sure this won't be our last visit.

Functional location and appearance. Hot water and heating kept failing (although owner was very responsive every time it happened. Kitchen utensils adequate but limited. Fridge set to too cold a level resulting in vegetables freezing. Sense that property not often used. Adequate rather than good.
4.7
Fabulous position to access Peak District and Sheffield. Lovely little cottage set amidst the farm.

An enjoyable experience
