The staff was wonderful.
The location is perfect.
A charming place to stay.

Cute inn with friendly staff. WiFi connectivity and strength was terrible though. There was also one step that I kept tripping over going up and down stairs.

This is the East Hampton we remember from many years ago, My spouse and I have been long time home owners in the East Hampton area and found ourselves staying at the Huntting Inn as we were in the process of moving back into our newly renovated home. Our stay covered three nights and it could not have been a better experience. The room was immaculate, very upto date--clearly they have invested in the property. The staff was thoughtful and very helpful ranging from the modified continental breakfast to the wonderful Palm Restaurant on-site. Our stay was in Winter when much in the area is closed. After going to a local movie theater where the movie and commercials ran much longer than expected, we thought we had missed the closing of the kitchen. We had but the restaurant captain personally cooked each of us a wonderful meal despite having sent the regular crew home for the evening. We could not recommend the Inn more.

The Huntting Inn was founded in the 18th century. The room we had was spacious with a beautiful modern bathroom, and a king-sized bed. Still you feel like you are on a walk back in time with narrow halls and steps. The staff was welcoming and cordial. We’d happily go back!

Soaking wet carpet upon arrival and given the season there were no other rooms. Was provided towels to put down on top of the wet carpet. Room was minuscule - the insane price for this room and it didn’t even have room for two nightstands (and yes I get it is the Hamptons in the summer). At check out wasn’t even asked if I enjoyed my stay (not even sure the receptionist looked at me). Definitely a tired property. The receptionist that checked me in was the shining star of the stay.

Everything here is amazing especially the staff. LOVED everything about the hotel and restaurant.

Guests should be aware that they must climb steep narrow stairs to reach the guest rooms.

With the Hampton Jitney stopping right at its front door in the heart of East Hampton Village, the Huntting Inn is the most convenient lodging in town. Add in The Palm restaurant, and the recently overhauled rooms, and this is a convenient and delightful place for your base of operations in beautiful East Hampton Village.

Room was newly renovated and very lovely/ comfortable; bathroom was small, but every room is different so may not be universally the case. Staff are a standout, they are SO nice and helpful. Common areas are not renovated but whatever, you aren’t staying in the common area and it’s a historic inn with charm. The price in summer is crazy but that’s the way it is in the area. Oh, and location is amazing - if you come from NYC the Jitney drops you right in front and East Hampton is right there, no need for a car.

A fantastic and beautiful historic landmark in East Hampton, with very easy access to the Main Street and shopping area. Very well maintained, with renovated functional rooms, and great staff, very courteous and professional. Excellent restaurant, and with top quality breakfast. A wonderful overall experience.

Great Location, lovely atmosphere.

The pictures don’t match the property. They are really old the rooms. Ac is a window AC and humidity super high in room. Questionable cleanliness. Staff was nice and refunded us part of nightly rate but if I had seen real pics of rooms before going I probably wouldn’t have stayed. Area is really convenient and parking amazing. You have the palm restaurant downstairs which is nice. Upstairs where the rooms are really needs an urgent renovation. Smells like mold and musty.

I normally stay down the road in East Hampton, but decided to switch it up this year. So glad I did! The rooms here are wonderfully updated and spacious! Very nicely appointed. The on-site bar/restaurant was delicious - and not too loud or disruptive at night. The location couldn’t be better for walking the village. Will definitely stay here again next year.

Very friendly and cozy inn, just the edge of the East Hampton's shopping area. The Palms restaurant inside is a very classic Palms with great steaks and seafood. Bed room is roomy and the bathroom was just renovated. Very friendly staff.

This is a quaint and charming inn. I really liked the area. Easy to walk to the shops and to see the nice houses near by. Easy to park your car. The front desk will give you a pass to park at the beach parking lots. The staff was super helpful with giving us information about things to do. The inn is undergoing renovations and there were some things that needed improvement. There were some insects in my room that I think came from the windows. The windows also weren't sound proofed so well against all the crickets chirping at night. But that is a very small inconvenience and I do give them a pass because they do have a sign in the lobby that they are under renovations. (The place was built in the 1600s.) The continental breakfast was really simple but I'm good with that because I am not a big eater anyway. If you're high maintenance and/or like a huge breakfast then this might not be the place for you. But I would very much stay here again and look forward to returning to The Huntting Inn again when the renovations are complete.

Sheila the Manager and Marissa at the front desk were amazingly helpful in educating us on the area. This was our first trip to the Hamptons. We usually go to Martha’s Vineyard and decided to try a new spot. We met other Vineyard goers in the bar at the Palm one evening who were equally as impressed. This location is walking distance to the best restaurants, shops and galleries. They provided us with a parking pass to the beach, chairs and an umbrella. There is a coffee maker and robes in the hotel.East Hampton is centrally located in the Hamptons, and a short Lyft ride to the Wolffer wine stand and a spa where we visited. The Palm in the hotel is really terrific. As is the continental breakfast selection. There is currently no elevator, but someone was available to help with our bags. An elevator will be installed in the future. The Hampton Jitney stops right out front. The cleaning staff didn’t take the money we left for them on the pillows each day do we made sure to leave for them in our last day.Would definitely recommend and go back in the future.Thank you for a memorable long weekend.

Had some plumbing issues when I arrived, but the Manager was very accommodating and in the end all was good. Charming Inn and the Palm bar is great!

When I arrived half of the hotel was under construction. My floor had construction workers dust and cardboard everywhere. I informed the management that this was unacceptable that we were leaving and that I need to be fully refunded.

There are other beautiful places to stay. Go there.

All of the staff was amazing. Unfortunately my car was damaged by a drunk driver in the parking lot on the first night of my stay. And due to certain conditions, I had to extend my stay by three days (on a HOLIDAY WEEKEND). Sheila was so sweet and gave me a discount on my additional nights. Joe at the Palm bar was amazing as well. We became great friends. All in all, I truly enjoyed myself and would definitely go back and stay again.

The shower pressure was a trickle of water so I gave up and had a bath. They upgraded me to second floor room when I arrived which was nice with a small refrigerator. Helpful front desk woman who showed me how to use tv remote. Room very clean. Room service available.

Our stay was very comfortable. We were even upgraded! My only issue might be that we could hear the noise from the very popular restaurant in the hotel.

This place was built in 1699 . One of the oldest structures in East Hampton so it has a lot of unique character. It’s located right in the heart of the shopping district but also has beautiful areas to stroll around. Palms restaurant is on the premises. The food and service was phenomenal.

Beautiful inn. Best location in East Hampton village. Palm Restaurant on first floor, shops a step away. What more do you need.

Convenient to town. A bit tired. Continental breakfast can be better even in covid Times. The Palm restaurant is downstairs so the usual continental breakfast with fresh muffins and some fruit not too much to expect. The rooms are getting a bit tired. I’ve been coming here for years.
