We had to book this last minute after our Vrbo host failed to respond with check in instructions for a property nearby. The staff was incredibly accommodating and very helpful in the morning.

The property said black off curtains, but there was a paper curtain that you had to pull with your hands and didn't even cover the entire window.

Clean, friendly staff, good location and decent breakfast. All that I was looking for to stay 4 days in NY in my family trip. The room is small but we don’t go to NY to stay in the room. I recommend.

The room was very deceiving in the photo's. I had booked the room for 3 people and paid extra for a city view but the view was the building across the street and the room was not much bigger than the bed. We didn't have space for our luggage. The closet was too small to hang anything more than our coats. They should of at least had a stand to set our luggage on or something. The bathroom was just a hole in the wall. No room to even set down your towel after your shower. The staff was very helpful and friendly. This was a very busy weekend for them and they did a great job recognizing everyone that was waiting and making it a point to let you know they would be right with you. Unfortunately I will not stay there again unless there is only two of us going. The room should not be advertised for three. I will never pay extra for a city view again either. That was the biggest rip off. Not only are you all the way up on the 25th floor looking at another building, I had to take the steps down because I waited a half hour for an elevator that never came. When you could get an elevator it took 20 minutes to get down because it would stop at every floor. The stairs were faster if your legs can handle 25 floors.

The hotel was great . It was clean. The hotel staff was friendly. Breakfast was top notch!! We were within walking distance to Penn Station, the theatre. And so much more . We had a great “sisters” weekend and would definitely do it again.

The hotel is just chaotic. Feels like you’re waiting at a bus station at rush hour. The room was nice but the AC was very noisy and kept me awake almost all night. It got so hot at one point and I could not work out how to make it colder.

Room was very tiny out of all the stays I’ve had at a king size room it’s never been that small. Lobby smelt like horse poop, ac wasn’t working in the room at night. Bar food wasn’t seasoned nor good.

We booked a king room with a sofa bed on hotels.ca at hyatt place. Before arrival we received an email to check in online. When i checked in the only option they gave me for my 3pm check in was 2 double beds. I called the hotel and the rep said at first sorry that's all we have. I said that's not what i booked and since im coming a little later is there something they can do. I cant believe i had to almost beg them to accommodate me for what i paid for. Luckily she came back and said they can accommodate me, almost as if she did me a favour. Anyway we checked in, the front desk clerks basically avoid eye contact with you so you can go to another clerk. I stood in line waiting while i didnt realize two clerks were free. They never said anything until i approached i asked if i could check in at this desk. There was no good customer service. Anyway, the room was nice but realized they gave us an accessible room which i really prefer not to have. We had room 1116. All night long there was loud noise stopping and starting. We thought it was the ac warming up and realized it wasnt. I didnt sleep a blink. It was truly terrible. I hope someone fixes the problem. Anyway i will never stay there again. Certainly a disappointment for a hyatt.

conveniently located. Hotel was very busy and so were elevators. Especially during breakfast times (which is actually very good for a free breakfast) it can take 20min to get up or down.

Walking distance to times square enjoyed the surroundings and the convenience of exploring with a young family.

The location well situated to access most places throughout Manhattan. The room is small, but that's to be expected. Bed was comfortable with good linens and pillows. We were 3 people in the room, and the person who slept on foldout bed said it was surprisingly comfortable. Best aspect of this place was the staff - very friendly, helpful, professional, pleasant.

Lady who checked me in was not friendly at all. No smile just a straight face like she’s not interested in doing her job. Other staff at the front desk were lovely and helpful.
Room was small and clean but carpet had big staines on it and poor lighting
5 stars for the location. Easy convenient location, close to all subways and shops, restaurants etc. 10min walk to Times Square, very walkable
Breakfast was basic and almost same everyday (same scrambled eggs everyday). They could do better breakfast for the price we pay

Tiny rooms and not enough elevators to support all the guests. Breakfast was very basic and over crowded so we never had it even though we paid for it. Will not book again.

Not a great property!!! The sofa bed was a solid metal frame with bars and the mattress was two inches thick so ended up sleeping on the floor. Told the hotel about the issue every day and the promised to fix it every day and nothing ever happened. Half way through the holiday the room flooded so we were moved and had the same problem. Do not stay here if you plan to use the sofa bed!!
