We stayed for two nights. We realized when we went to bed that the bathroom door did not stay shut when you went to the bathroom it kept sliding open. We had a queen size bed, light on the right side did not turn on and the light on the left side could not be shut off. after a big day in New York we were too tired to go down complain or change for a new room. In the middle of the night, actually at 5:20 the fire alarm went off and we started getting ready to go downstairs as we were on the 20th floor we didn’t have any time to waste! when we got to the elevator the alarm went off but went on again. After about 10 minutes the loud speaker went on to let us know that it was a false alarm. The next morning, nobody in the hotel brought it up and when we asked what happened Ithey didn’t really know. They just said they were sorry it was just a mistake. as we were leaving the next morning I asked to speak with a manager, but he never made it before my ride had arrived. So I never got a chance to talk to him. I think they said his name was Sean. So I’ll in all I cannot say it was the best day we had in New York. So you know we have been coming to New York for at least five times over the last 10 years.

The entrance is a bit hard to find without obvious signage. The check in was easy. A request to wave the resort/facilities fee was denied. I didn't use any of their facilities other the room to sleep and I had already played an obnoxiously high price by reserving several weeks in advance. The room is small, about the size of a very small single dorm room. There was a bunk bed with a ladder which took much of the floor space; once removed and placed in a corner, there was room to maneuver. There was a small desk surface and a metal straight chair. A USB socket was found on the back of the clock. It was not a space conducive to working on. The sink and toilet were in a space reminiscent of the lav on an Airbus 320. Surprisingly, the shower was much larger than would have been expected which seemed odd. The warmth of the water was not great in the morning. The towels had an unpleasant chemical odor. There was a TV at the foot of each bed on the bunk. Neither could be used because the remote was inoperable. Inexplicably, the wall if each bunk had 4 power outlets. The bedding was much more comfortable than expected. The room was full of sharp cornered metal furnishings. There was a nice bar/lounge area. The bartender was dressed like my neighbor when we watch hockey on TV...barkeeps at Holiday Inns in Akron dress better. The Pod would have been acceptable at a price point $150 less...at $300, it leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

Was heading into the city for a celebratory dinner, but it's the holidays in NYC. Most hotels were super high-priced. This one was relatively inexpensive. Room was small, but we were only there for one night. Beds were not super comfortable, but served its purpose. Stayed in a Room (Full Pod). I wouldn't lounge around in these rooms all day, but they were a clean, reasonably comfortable place to get changed for dinner and spend the night. Right near Times Square too. I would stay here again, just not for an extended stay (at least not in the room type we stayed in).

Great location, well kept rooms, good lobby area and bar. Mattress was a bit worn. But loved the hotel.

I liked this hotel a lot. Rooms are functionally decorated, and had all the conveniences that I needed. The room was clean and tidy and it was cleaned regularly. The reception staff were helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. It is very well located and the train stations, buses (and airports) are all easily accessed. For example, Times square is a short walk away.
