Great overall experience...easy check-in and room was very clean and spacious for out family!!!! Parking garage right in front of the property ($16 euros for overnight parking) not so bad compared to other cities!!!

Had a wonderful 3 night stay. Great location with fantastic rooms which were very clean and well presented Had an issue on night with noise due to either the guttering or building cladding knocking against the wall due to the high wind and rain. But reception moved us to a new room with no fuss and we had no further issues Would stay here again

Good location, walk to attractions. Large room but no air conditioning. Opened the windows but than had some mosquitoes. Shower leaked bad. Nice little kitchenette.

Great location in the old part of the city, the property looks to be buildings that were once part of the old university. Lovely light room. As shown in the photos though better. Had no issue with the bed against the wall. Would recommend & stay again.

Builders start at 7am sharp right outside our window. Eaten alive by mozzies ........ Room decor is a little dark. Good location and easy stroll into main area. Bag storage is a good facility.

It was a very easy-to-get location—with friendly and accommodating staff. We were able to reserve an extra day without a problem. We will rent this location when we return to Ghent next time.

Beautiful characteristic building. Cleaning could be better. We brought an muskito plug so we could sleep with the windows open but the room was hotter inside then outside. We parked at st. Pietersplein for €9.50 / 24/h very good parking.

We booked this hotel for three nights. At 2am the first night, I booked a second hotel for the next two nights. We could not stay there another minute. The rooms are simple, which is fine. No air conditioning (it's an old building, and at other times of the year, and prior to the climate crisis it may not be necessary, but it was HOT when we were there). They supply a very small fan which is not enough at all to circulate the air in the large room. We needed to keep the windows open to breathe at all - and this let in all the mosquitoes. We were covered in bites by midnight. There were blood stains on the walls from guests before us, obviously fro killing mosquitoes. My head was right next to these pictures (see below). And this was SOMEONE ELSE'S BLOOD!. I showed them in the morning when I was checking out early, their response was "yes, all the walls look this way due to the mosquito problem". They admitted housekeeping should do a better job of wiping down the walls. My teenagers went out for a walk at 1am because they couldn't sleep, it was so hot and uncomfortable. When I was checking out early the next morning, they told me I could have asked for plug-in mosquito repellant devices, but of course, no one told me this at check-in. They also gave us a can of Raid. Couldn't get any money back for the 2 nights we didn't stay because it was pre-paid through Expedia. If they would put a small window air-conditioning unit in each room, it would fix the problems.

Beautiful studio apartments with plenty of room. For stays under a week they dont offer automatic cleaning of the rooms. You can pay an extra €15 for a cleaning each time you want one. Wish they would supply more toiletries and taking out the trash during the stay or at least a bigger garbage can.

Just wow! I almost don't even know where to start. This place is fabulous from top to bottom. The location cannot be beat. I think this used to be a seminary so revamping the property into a hotel was absolutely a brilliant plan! The security measures in place are phenomenal. Walking in, all 3 of us literally said "wow." the decor is amazing in every way and we would love to purchase whatever they use to clean or to scent the air! After this, we were really excited to see our rooms but we were super early, so we utilized their luggage storage (another wow factor). When we finally returned from sight seeing and checked in to our room, we were blown away. The pictures do not do it justice. Absolutely gorgeous room with great amenities. The shower even had fantastic pressure (after 3 weeks in Europe, you definitely notice this). We had a lovely view of the courtyard and we really loved that our windows actually opened! Giving this place a 10 out of 10 is completely insufficient. It's intended for extended stays and has a small kitchen, but literally everything you need is there (refrigerator, microwave, stove, sink, dishes, etc). We only stayed 3 days so we didn't use anything but the refrigerator, but if I went again, I would use this. The only suggestion I could even think to make is to maybe consider adding some washers & dryers in the area by the lockers. I also hope you expand your footprint - we need more like you!

We will definitely stay here again. The apartment was spacious with high ceilings giving a bright airy feel. And also bigger than we expected. Bed was very comfortable. Stunning old building with history. A few minute walk to the heart of Gent. Carpark right across the road which is handy but not cheap.

The location of the hotel and the room itself was fine but the bathroom ha no ventilation and smelt terrible the entire time. The sofa bed was not comfortable. Also the floors and ceilings were so thin that the other apartments above were so loud. You could hear everything

I booked and paid for a 5 night stay. Upon arrival, the room furniture was filthy and stained. One of my pillow cases had visible dirt stains on it where it was leaning up against to very dirty upholstered pillows on the back of bed. I had to have housekeeping come in and replace the pillow cases (there was no replacement for the upholstered pillows). I also asked for additional sheets to throw over all furniture and cover the upholtered backing of the bed because it was filthy with dark and white stains all over it. ... The other issue was no a/c, and I arrived during a heat wave. The room was 90 degrees Farenheit. There was no ventilation in the entire large brick building. They offered a very small fan that simply blew the hot air around, but did nothing to cool it down. It had significantly cooled off at night, with morning temperatures at 63 degrees farenheit, however the room was still 90 degrees. It had not cooled down at all. So, I had no choice but to check out after one night and book into another hotel. There were several other guests with the same issue and concerns. I asked the front desk about getting reimbursed for the remaining nights of my stay that I would not be using, and their response was to email management, but that another guest had just requested the same, and management denied it. Management refused my request to refund the unused nights. ***Be aware, this hotel is dirty, grimy, and clearly has no regard for the conditions provided to guest.

The room layout, size and quality is great. Very close to city center. The only gripe I have is our room was on the sunny side of the building and the temperature was 85-90 deg F when we stayed. This resulted in a very warm room due to no AC. The staff was accommodating and gave us an additional brand new fan to help move air in the room. Highly recommended stay in Ghent.

The location is perfect in the city center, close to the tram. The hotel itself is very modern in old historic building. The main disadvantage is that there is no air conditioning in the hotel. Although they provide a fan in the room, on hot days it can be very challenging. The windows are not fully opening, and there are a lot of mosquitoes. The walls in the room are full of dead mosquitoes marks. There is no daily cleaning if you are staying less than a week, unless you pay additional cost.

The website says housecleaning services, but they are only offered ONCE A WEEK! The room is very hot, even when the weather was in the 70s. There is no AC. The bed was very squeaky so it woke up my son when we moved. The mattress was not comfortable. There is NO COFFEE available in the room or lobby except disgusting instant coffee. totally overpriced and overrated.

Great little room, very efficient and convenient, very safe and quiet. The 'rain' shower was great. Only one small complaint: the shower drain did get rather smelly.
