Location was great. Food was plentiful, varied and very good. I am a non-skier and was planning on working out a lot while hubby skied. Website stated that there was yoga, and it looked as though there would be about 5 classes/day...well, we were told onsite that there was no yoga instructor this year- please update your site!? The Norwegian spa on the roof was unavailable as well. Steam room/sauna were nice. Pool was lovely...when it was warm enough.

We stayed at this disgusting hotel at the tail end of our 14-day holidays for 2 days, with 4 children and our nanny.
I had called the hotel to check if early check-in was possible the answer was - "yes, but only one of our rooms". We left our chalet only to arrive at Belambra (at 12noon), to be told that there we "misheard", and that the room would not be ready til 5p. We asked to leave our luggage in storage so we could go out for lunch, and they said there was no space for luggage. We had to wait in a room adjasent to lobby with our 8 suitcases and 4 kids. We took turns to go out to eat, while the area we were waiting in was chaotic, crying kids, suitcases everywhere, and even one case of a guy who had pulled out a sleeping bag, sleeping next to his luggage.
5 o-clock hit and they said that the room would not be available until 8pm. I asked if they could find a solution - the response from the front desk manager was "you can go find another hotel".
I called Expedia who kept phoning Belambra but were telling me that they're not picking up calls or responsing to emails. I asked reception if they could return expedias calls, and was told I can't tell them how to do their job and that I was free to leave.
At 7pm we could hear arguments and shouting between guests and reception staff.
Needless to say, guests at this hotel treated the hotel in the same way as the staff treated the guests. It was a mess, unhygienic/dirty, nothing worked.
Avoid at all cost.

Fantastic location for ski-in and ski-out.
We stayed with our 3 year old son and the kids club was great for him.
The rooms were comfortable and reasonably clean with plenty towels.
The main bar area and restaurant were very good and there was always a great selection of food to choose from.
The pool area is ok but could have been bigger and the pool would have been much better if a little warmer. It was very cold.
All in all a really good base to ski from with special mention to the kids club staff who were amazing.
Will definitely be back.

We have stayed in the hotel between 16-23 December 2023.
It is the hotel which was owned by Club Med since 2 years ago. Then It has been handed over to Belambra Clubs.
We had a lot of issues during our stay which you can see them with their importance level below.
1. An epidemic gastroenteritis (tummy bug) has started mid of our stay. My daughter had a high fever and vomiting. We had a bad time during our stay. Same thing has happened to a lot of different people in the hotel and they have announced this situation.
Hotel was terrible for cleaning of everything including dishes, glasses.
2. Hotel was very old and maintenance is definitely needed.
3. Isolation in the room is terrible. If you sleep next to the window, you will feel 5 celcius degree difference and cold.
4. Reception manager is definitely rude and needs to be replaced. We have booked norwegian bath and been ready on time but when we went to get the key, he said that it is broken. They haven’t given us any further notice. We have left skiing. At the ned of the day, they didn’t make any compensation for that and kept talking rudely.
The only thing is hotel’s location is good and near to ski lifts and ESF Ski School. Other than thag it is the worsest hotel which I have seen during my life.
Overall, I highly do not recommend this hotel.
Hope my review will protect you and help you to have a good experience with another hotel.
Thanks,

This is a slightly downmarket version of Club Med. The building is a bit drab but many of the hotels in Tignes are similar. The interior in the public rooms was much better with a real alpine feel. Bedrooms were a bit tired but comfortable. Food was good - pizza and burgers every night plus salads and more specialist offerings for the more sophisticated palate. Staff were welcoming and friendly. WiFi was good enough to stream. Hotel backs onto a ski run so you can ski in and out. My only real complaint was my room was not cleaned once during a 6 day stay. I complained about this and the lack of shower gel in the bathroom. I was repeatedly told it would be fixed but it never was.

The hotel is filthy. Room never cleaned. Common areas are dirty. Cleaning in bar and restaurant poor. Had to collect our own toilet rolls throughout our stay. Pool area smelt vile and pool freezing.
Bar staff very friendly.

The main hotel is very nice, but when we checked in I was told that I’d booked a room in the annex across the street. Not something I was made aware of during the booking process. However the receptionist offered me an upgrade to the main hotel. Unfortunately the room in the main hotel was a small double, when the room we’d booked was an interconnecting triple. Something that appealed to my 18yo son and me, as I snore. Therefore we ended up in the top floor of the annex, which was okay but the room was a little tired. That said the hotel is ideally situated with ski hire and ski lockers located in the basement tunnel between the hotel and annex. There is a very convenient door onto the slopes, and four lifts to chose from just below the hotel.
The food was in the form of a buffet, with hot and cold selections available. I found that the range of choices weren’t always to my taste but there was always something that I could eat. A real bonus was the option to make your own packed lunches. Overall my experience was good, but don’t expect five star service.

A very nice hotel indeed - super location (as good as it gets), comfortable rooms (its a large hotel / club), friendly and helpful staff, super views (if you get one of those rooms overlooking the mountains). If i need criticize something then the a) the Hotel is a bit "tired," b) its more for families with smaller kids (excellent for that). Generally speaking a solid A from me.
