Helen's Hideaway is a great place to either just get away or celebrate special occasions with family and friends. Fully Renovated 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom cabin with fireplace. The kitchen is equipped so you have what you need to cook it up for the whole family. Enjoy using our brand-new hot tub. There is a Vahalla Resort Spa in the gated community, restaurants, and a golf course for those golfers in your family. The cabin is nestled in the mountains. This cabin doesn't disappoint. Only 3 mile drive from downtown not walking distance due to mountainous location. Entrance gate is on back road of downtown Helen.

Perfect layout and location for our family. Kids enjoyed the downstairs space. We enjoyed the screened in porch. Location to downtown was ideal.

Me and 7 of my closest girlfriends booked this cabin for a 5-day weekend retreat and it was absolutely wonderful! 2 of the ladies ended up having to cancel, so it was just 6 of us. The neighborhood was so quiet and peaceful. I can't begin to tell you how much time we spent just sitting on the screened-in porch and just listening to the birds, or the rain, or just talking. The beds were comfortable, the house was quiet (even when it was storming outside), and the Wifi was good. We never turned on the TV. I did check out the hot tub (which was very warm) but we never used it, so I can't say if the jets worked. We had no trouble cooking, and found dishware and cookware easily. We even found some extra coffee pods when we ran out of the coffee we brought :) The only complaints I would have (and they are really more like FYI's rather than complaints because these things did not take one single thing away from an amazing weekend!) is that the image of the game room is misleading. The Foosball and Air Hockey tables are no longer there, and the pool table needs to be re-felted, so we couldn't play on it. Secondly, that the limit of 3 cars for parking is VERY strict. We were able to squeeze in a 4th car, but that's it. The hosts told us we might be able to squeeze in 5. Had all of my friends been able to come, we definitely would have had trouble squeezing a 5th car into the limited parking. 150% would rebook! Thank you!

Cabin looks exactly as presented online. Very clean. Very comfortable. Hosts are friendly and helpful. Hot tub is lovely. The screen porch allows you to sit comfortably outside without getting eaten by mosquitoes. This was a great place to stay for a quiet weekend. Just one heads up - the roads to the cabin are narrow, winding, and steep. The location is beautiful and serene, but be ready for the north Georgia mountain roads.

Enjoyed the stay.. super nice home. Few of the pics need updating. Ex. there is no air hockey or foosball table just a pool table that's in ok condition, sticks were all wore out with no tips. other than that little issue everything else was great!! super clean and would stay again!

The cabin is super cute and spacious. I love the feeling of being in the woods but not actually being in the wood. Nice quiet neighborhood. Very close to download.

We enjoyed this cabin for our group of 6. Location was convenient to Helen. The road leading to the cabin is curvy but parking area was flat. We would stay here again.

Very quiet and peaceful. Close to town but need to drive. Beautiful house with great accommodations and the air hockey table was a must for my kids!! Great stay!!!

I booked this cabin for a family trip that included my husband, teenage son, my sister, her husband and teenage son and our retired parents. The cabin was perfect!!! The kitchen area was perfect for all of our food and meals, the living area is close with an open plan so we could all be together. The screened porches are perfect for morning coffee and eating outside. The downstairs was perfect for our teen boys, they slept on the twin beds, watched football on tv and played pool and air hockey. The hot tub was so nice! The location is close to the main strip in Helen but far enough away to feel secluded in the beautiful mountains. The hosts (Curt & Christy) were super quick to respond if I had any questions. I would definitely recommend this for a couples trip, family trip or any group that needs to accommodate 4-8 people.

The property was ok but the accuracy of the listing was terrible. They said property was down town Helen , 7 minute walk to Fest Halle. Wrong, it was about a10 minute drive to Fest Halle..Had we known we wood not have rented. So disappointed!!!!!!

Stayed here with a few friends to celebrate Octoberfest. It is a beautiful cabin with a screened in porch which we fully loved breathing in the fresh mountain air and using the hot tub. We enjoyed morning breakfast with the kitchenware provided and played lots of billiards in the basement! It was a great place to stay! Host was very easy to reach and communicable. The only issue I had was the listing said it was 10 minute walk to the Festhalle but that is the driving distance, the walk time is an hour. We were hoping it would've been closer to walk but I would recommend Sautee Rides and Transportation as Uber wasn't very reliable in the evening we went to Octoberfest. Overall a great place to stay and beautiful mountain getaway!!

Was disappointed in distance from town. Yes the security gate was only .5 miles from town but the cabin was significantly higher up from the gate therefore we couldnt walk into town on an evening and have a drink, as we don't drink and drive...very disappointed in that aspect

The house and property were amazing! The neighborhood is huge and slightly confusing, but we figured it out. Once you get out of the neighborhood, its maybe a mile to downtown.

It is a spacious and beautifully decorated cabin in a charming neighborhood. We enjoyed spending time on the decks, and although we didn't use the hot tub, it was a great addition to the game room. We also liked the proximity to downtown Helen and the hiking trails leading to beautiful waterfalls. The owners went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. We appreciated their responsiveness whenever we had questions. We highly recommend this cabin and hope to be back in the future.

Wow! Great location! Great hosts! Great cabin! Curt and Christy have done an excellent job of creating a cabin oasis for the family. Plenty of space with the 2 screened in porches and 4 bedrooms. Lots to do with the pool table, air hockey table and board games. Even a hot tub-although we didnt use that in the 90 degree temps! Absolutely loved our stay and will definitely stay here on our next trip to Helen, GA.

First of all, the house itself was clean and really nicely renovated & decorated. The game room was great entertainment and the 3 full bathrooms were good for our party of 9. The owners were quick to respond and extremely nice over text. There were two very disappointing situations with our stay. The first is that the hot tub was not working. It would not heat at all. The light doesn’t work in the hot tub and some of the jets don’t work. The worst part was there is no pool to use. The listing shows photos of a beautiful pool, tennis and pickle ball courts that we found out are for owner use only! Why have these photos in the listing?? The listing states there is a pool to use. It’s misleading. We rented this house for the hot tub and pool and didn’t have either which is a complete disappointment. We had five disappointed children with us. The “guest pool” we were directed to looks like it hasn’t been used in years. The area is overgrown and the pool is empty with garbage all around it. The owner said he wasn’t aware of the guest pool being unusable but that is not an excuse as to why there are photos of the beautiful owners pool that guests don’t have access too. So beware that if you rent this cabin, you will not have a pool to use and don’t bother bringing tennis equipment because those aren’t for guests either. Very nice cabin but our stay was unfortunately a disappointment due to the misleading listing.

We celebrated our cousin’s 40th birthday and stayed in this cabin for the weekend. We had 5 couples, so 10 people total and we all fit comfortably and only had to put one couple on an air mattress in the basement/game room area. Each level of the cabin has a full bath which was amazing when everyone was getting ready. We will definitely be back to stay at this cabin!
