This was our first time visiting the Asheville area and this home in the mountainside was great. We enjoyed the serenity and views. The visiting wildlife was a plus. Highly recommended!

We absolutely loved this property. It was just perfect for us, with great spaces and a great layout. The front porch was awesome; we spent so much time there after excursions. The location was perfect for us, too—we went on hikes down toward Chimney Rock and then went into Asheville for dinner and nightlife. We hope to return to this property again.

My family and I stayed here for a couple of nights. There is a 20lb limit that wasn’t relayed until after making the reservation so I contacted Edmund immediately for permission. He was very nice about allowing our two Samoyed dogs to stay with us! Just had to follow a couple of rules with not allowing them upstairs, on the furniture and not leaving them unattended. I didn’t understand how that’s different from a smaller dog but to each their own! Plus, his house, his rules! Home was very beautiful with a game room and hot tub! Beds upstairs were certainly comfy! Thank you, Edmund!

Cabin has many conveniences and fun things to do. We had a wonderful long weekend exploring Asheville by day and hanging out at the cabin at night. Bummed we didn’t see a bear, but had a great time!

We were 8 adults, one toddler and a 8 month baby. The house had a bit for everyone to enjoy themselves. The trail was great, just wished it was longer. We did have a visitor both nights we stayed (black bear), but there were no issues with safety. Just park your car far from the trash bin :) we all agreed that we will be back. Our host was super nice and responsive. The complementary bottle of wine was a nice touch to welcome us to the home. 5 stars!

We loved our stay at this cabin. Great location, close to Asheville and close to many great water falls and hiking trails. The house was clean and accommodated our large family well. Great for kids.

The place was so beautiful and cozy. Exactly as pictures show. Everyone has an incredibly comfortable bed (best we’ve ever had at a rental)!!! We will use again!

Had a wonderful time at the house. The host has included many thoughtful details (including smores supplies and firewood). The game room was great for family time and the dining room could seat everyone (even a highchair for the toddler!). The property was beautiful and convenient to Asheville and Hendersonville. Would gladly stay again.

Great property with rooms for all 6 friends. Beautiful balcony for coffee in the morning. Quick access to the blue ridge mountains for hiking and downtown Asheville and breweries. Close to the Biltmore mansion and shoppes. Trail at house is very steep and slippery. Would not recommend for beginner hikers.

The cabin has everything you want and need to relax and enjoy all that Asheville has to offer.

Perfect for a getaway in the NC mountains! Remote, but with all of Asheville's creature comforts within 30 minutes. We appreciated the baby gear (pack n play, high chair, and toys), and the house was plenty big for our extended family!

Just what we were looking for. The place was clean and nice and worked very well for our family vacation.

This cabin was wonderful and exactly what we were expecting. The game room was such a great way to entertain the kids that any future out-of-state rentals we may do will have to have a similar setup!

My extended family and I arrived to this gem and were instantly impressed. The location was perfect, quiet and secluded, but not too far from activities and stores. The home itself was lovely and very comfortable for our group of 8 adults. The age ranges were 18-54 and everyone was able to enjoy the property and home. Exploration of the property allowed for our more active and adventurous members to hike on site. The game room was perfect for the whole group and there was plenty of seating for card games in the evening. We were close enough to take trips into town to white water kayak, tour The Biltmore and hike to various waterfalls. Coming from Florida and California, we all enjoyed the evening sunsets and stars. Absolutely gorgeous property and kind hosts. We would not change a thing! We all highly recommend this property.

This is the perfect home for a large family with kids of all ages! The game room was amazing! It was perfect since the weather was less then ideal for a summer vacation! So much space and a beautiful location! The owner had great communication and so accommodating! They had items in the house for a baby which meant I had to bring less which is amazing!! I would definitely book this house again for my family!!

Lovely home and grounds with many spaces to gather together or be alone. With two streams on both sides of the house, the outdoor areas and porches were incredibly peaceful, and the view of the mountains was beautiful at sunset. Great accommodations and supplies, the best we’ve ever had in all our rentals in the past. We’ll definitely be back.

We had spent a weekend in May at this property and it was great. The property is beautiful - it's honestly better in real life than in the photos (which is surprising because the photos make it look great.) it was very clean and the host was easy to talk to before our stay. Definitely recommend it if you would like to spend some time away in the greenery of North Carolina.

This place is amazing! The photos don’t do it justice. It looks so nice, comfortable and homey. The rooms were so nicely set up. There was plenty of room for everyone! The wrap around deck was a nice feature! We had great times both adults and kids in the game room. The host had everything. He was very responsive! We definitely enjoyed our stay.

This is a great property for peace and quiet. The check in and check out processes are easy. The place is in very good shape and very clean. There are so many little details the my fiance and I enjoyed about the property - walking trail, small waterfalls, game room, lights on the humming bird feeder and stuffed bears on all the beds among many more. The neighborhood is very quiet and the location offers privacy. The owners were very attentive and check in through messages to make sure we were enjoying our stay. I'm sure we'll be back.

We had an amazing time at the cabin! It was perfect size for a group of 5 guys! It was close enough to the city and the perfect distance for just about anything fun to do in and around the city! We would definitely stay there again!

We were looking for a much needed break in a gentle, peaceful setting, and now wish we had booked for longer! This place was perfect. Beautifully furnished with a really well stocked kitchen. Edmund contacted us after arrival to see if we needed anything, and made us feel welcome. I especially loved the outdoor fireplace, listening to the waterfall right behind the deck, and the hot tub was lovely. It was an excellent choice for us and the kids too. Loved how easy it was to get to downtown Asheville and the Biltmore Estate.

This "Cabin" was absolutely wonderful! the view, the fireplaces, the beds! Our family of 8 adults and 2 dogs had plenty of room for sleeping and eating. It was a great place to spend Thanksgiving! Definitely recommend!

The property looks better in person than it does in the pictures. All light switches and amenities are labeled for ease of use. There was an electronic dart board that was not operational but everything else was clean and in working order. There is plenty to do within a 20 minute drive, whether you want to check out the city or some mountain trails.
