Amazing location, beautifully themed, clean and luxurious

Absolutely beautiful cottage everything was really nicely themed and would absolutely stay here again. The location was also perfect with lots of hikes, cafes, waterfalls and activities close by. I’m from the UK originally and it had such a homely British feel. We even stayed an additional night because we loved the accommodation so much. There was also little care packages with things for the bath and some cute snacks welcoming us. Overall 10/10 accommodations would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet luxurious rainforest retreat.

Great getaway for couples and we will definitely be back again

Easy to find and location was close to all the attractions we wanted to visit. Check was simple and not having to deal with a reception process made the short stay feel more like a holiday. Comfortable bed, good well equipped bathroom, soft towels and bath robes were perfect. Very private and comfortable set in a beautiful location.

Cute, charming cottage stay.

Super cute and cosy. Loved the little extras here and there! Fireplace was great to watch for hours. Had enough firewood supplied (unlike other reviews).

Fire place was a bit smokey, might need a clean out. Our second night, we had a loud group in the cabins next door that disturbed the peace and quiet a bit (wasn't too bad). Located out of the main strip a little bit, but within a 5 min drive.

Quaint and well-appointed cottage.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful location. Very comfortable and quaint. Little touches like the welcome and paper packs are thoughtful.

No wifi (albeit understand that it is a tricky location) and not a lot of firewood.

A lovely relaxing stay.

Peaceful, very clean and exactly as described. A great spot for my daughter and me to base ourselves as we went about exploring Mount Tamborine for a few days. Communicative hosts made everything a breeze.

Romantic, great location

Walking distance to see the sun set. Beautiful surroundings. Clean, cosy. Fire was amazing. Take extra wood. They think of everything down to bubble bath and rose petals. 🌹. Very romantic. Spa was incredible, fits 2 people well. Candles, snacks provided. Highly recommend.

All was great. They are on tank water so don't stress when the bath water comes out a brown.

not only does the property have old world charm, the caretakers have old world service that shows care and attention

the setting is straight out of an English novel. it is like a step back in time. I loved it. it is quiet and charming. it’s the little things like the table set ready for a meal, the custom bath salts, snacks and drinks in the fridge. we will be coming back for a longer stay. thank you!!!

Lovely couple's retreat

Everything - the attention to detail in the property was immaculate and perfect for a couples get away. You get complementary snacks and little treats (i.e hikers lotion for your sore feet and, bath salts, a picnic basket that you can use etc). The property is more beautiful than the pictures.

The lights were quite dim in the living room and the bathroom can get really slippery at times

The English Cottage on Mt Tamborine

All the finishing touches. Christmas gift basket, bathroom items and of course the jet tub. Privacy and cleanliness was outstanding. We particularly enjoyed the cosiness and atmosphere of this quaint English getaway.

For price we would have enjoyed the provision of small breakfast such as yoghurt, bread, eggs butter and spreads to showcase local produce.

Breathtaking stay!

Everything about the English Cottage is absolutely breathtaking! My partner and I decided to spend Christmas in Australia as we couldn’t be in England due to work commitments, so thought we’d spend it in QLD. We were amazed at how much the English styled cottage reminded my partner of home, from the stunning English inspired Christmas decorations, layout of the property, comfortable furniture, prime location and thoughtfully stocked ammenities. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a taste of England in Australia! will definitely be visiting again with friends! This stay was amazing. If you really are looking for done R&R this is the place.

Loved this self catering cottage before we even opened the door. Once inside we were overwhelmed by how cute & cosy it looked & felt. The extra appeal of course was the Christmas decor, welcome hamper, wine & drinks. Very private & serene. Bed was super comfy & the spa was big enough for two.
