We had a family group of adults and teens and the property worked well for us. It was clean and ready to use when we arrived. There was plenty of room to either hang out together or get away from people, whichever you wanted. There were a few things that could improve the experience. For example, there were no dressers or luggage racks in the bedrooms. You had to put your suitcase on the floor. Each bed had only a bedspread and the AC was cool. Some guests were cold at night and searching their cars for an extra blanket. Overall, good property and we had a fun week.

The property was nice the water smell was overpowering smelling like rotten eggs. The deck railing is extremely loose and someone could fall off of it easily. The septic by the fire pit smells horrific, the living room furniture was broken, other than that the cabin was really nice and our whole group fit perfectly in the space. I can’t say it’s worth 1040.00 a night. With some upkeep and tlc it would be

It was a wonderful place a few of the things like the lightbulbs were blowed and the patio underneath the place was covered mud. Beautiful cabin just needs a little maintenance for the price.

We had so much fun at your house!! Beautiful property!

Gorgeous location. Sadly, the water faucet, sink, bathroom, shower everything smelled like sulfur. The fart-like stench was unbearable at times which resulted in using many plastic water bottles and gallon jugs. Messaged the host but there was no true concern shown by them. Would not stay here again for that reason.

Our family booked this cabin to have a family Christmas. 18 of us stayed for 3 nights. The cabin was a little smaller than what the pictures showed. There were broken tiles in the kitchen that one of our adults cut their foot on and the lights on the Christmas tree didn’t work (which was disappointing). Other than those things we really enjoyed our stay there. The kitchen came well equipped with everything we needed to help prepare our meals and there were plenty of towels and space for our big family. If they would make some small repairs, this would have been a perfect trip. The only other complaint would be that it was difficult to reach the host over the weekend. I sent several messages and never received a response.

The cabin was so spacious and wonderful to stay in. My group had a great time and there was plenty of room for everyone. The only downfall was that the water smelled terribly of sulfur. We had to buy drinking water and it was almost unbearable to shower. Other than that though it was a really great cabin and I would love to stay again.

Absolutely gorgeous property but the tiles were broken in the kitchen so you had to be careful where you stepped. Also the hot tub leaked through the floor to the area below leaving quite a mess. Other than that it was beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay.

We had the absolute best Mini vacation to the woods in this cabin! Easy to find, great amenities, and reasonable drive to downtown Logan to pick up pizza. Short drive to old mans cave to hike. We can’t wait to come back!

We had a great time staying here, plenty of space, great views and having 2 hot tubs was a bonus! We took this time just to relax but it’s definitely near things if you need to go out.

We enjoyed our stay over Thanksgiving. The kitchen was very equipped and we had plenty of rooms, beds, bathrooms and towels. Would like to have a TV in basement but pool table and hot tubs were fun. Maintenance was very prompt when we called for a bathroom problem.

The house was beautiful - just needs minor upkeep things - fridge has a water & ice dispenser but apparently not hooked up to water supply. There are missing door shelves on the fridge. Soap dispensers were mostly water. There is an abundance of plates and bowls - just way short on spoons which we purchased & left for the next occupants. The main hot tub cover is water logged and in need of being replaced - we did the daily treatment of chemicals but still had the brown color. There was no closet up in the honeymoon bedroom to hang clothes plus some of the lights up there did not work. When it rained, ground leveling decking was extremely slick as water could not drain off. Having wifi, laundry facilities and a second cable tv would be a plus for this beautiful house.

Beautiful House
Beautiful house. Directions were accurate and the host was very good about answering all of our questions. A little disappointed about the hot tub, only one jet worked and there were 9 girls for a girls trip. Also, 8 ball was missing so we didn't get to play on the pool table. Bring extra blankets, basement rooms are a little chilly. Patio tables are held together with zip ties. For the price of the place, I thought things should have been kept up on a little better. Scenery was beautiful and location is great. Very close to hiking and general store to get some last minute necessities was nice and convenient. We had a great time!

Fun
It worked well for our group. Some things were broken/needed tightened up but it didn’t affect our experience. Easy check in and check out. Hocking Hills was great too!

Wonderful space for a large group
We had 15 adults and the space was great! The parking was probably the biggest obstacle due to people coming from all over and so many vehicles. All in all the open space was wonderful for the group to come together.
Only other thing that would have been helpful was the option to have an early check in without having to be charged another night.
The amount of towels and everything was great, all the basics were provided and Everyome appreciated the warm and inviting space!!

Nightmare
Winter Storm hit us and we stayed without power for about 30 hours. We had to check-out 2 days before due date because there was no power, no water and no perspective of restoring power. Since the water runs through a electric pump, there was no use of restrooms at all. The cabins didn't have at least a generator to help out. I don't know if there will be some compensation for our troubles but it was money wasted.

Mostly good
Upstairs hot tub had multiple feces on it from a raccoon. Left a new pile each night. Other than that, awesome place. Kids loved the pool table. Nice setting. Would only recommend WiFi

Not Sure That It Could Have Been Better
Very clean, well stocked with all dishware and cookware. Every room was neat clean and spacious. Both hot tubs were clean and hot. Great place to stay for a large group, with beds for 20 people. We'll definitely be back.

Perfect vacation spot
The cabin is very nice clean and roomy. Near to the popular hiking spots. Only downside jets in hot tubs and when is use they leak but definitely not a deal breaker! Would stay again.

Four Families Under One Roof
The cabin is exactly as described, if not more. It was clean, spacious, and located by all the good hiking trails. We had 20 people in our group and were able to be comfortably inside all at once and not be on top of each other. I had seen in another review there were concerns about the water so we brought a lot anticipating it and turns out it was perfectly fine to bathe and brush teeth in (we still drank bottled water.) The only real complaints that we have is for a house that advertises being able to accommodate 20 people there were only 5 glasses, so virtually one for each room, also there seems to be a bat issue on the master room balcony, and a lot of the furniture seems to be held together by zip ties and that was concerning for families with children for fear of breaking and causing injury or breaking and being responsible for the cost.
Those couple things aside, I would rent from them again and LOVED the Hocking Hills area.

I would book here again
we had a great time at this cabin. you will 100% need 4 wheel drive to get there. the street it is in is gravel with very steep hills. one of the porch steps was broken when we arrived and the hot tub appeared to be leaking but a maintenance person came out to fix/check it within our first hour of being there. loved that there was a bathroom on each floor and plenty of space for everyone to have a bed.
there is no cell service or wifi at the cabin. it was nice for most of us to “unplug” but made it hard for others to check in on kids at home. the fire pit was a popular spot to hangout but it reeks of sewage on that side of the house. the fridge worked fine for us but we also had 3 large coolers with ice. we also brought a flat top for the grill so we could even cook breakfast outside. that was the way to go and kept us from needing any other kitchen utensils. bring extra charcoal.
there were plenty of dishes/mugs for everyone and a dishwasher. overall it was a great place to stay!

Fun cabin getaway
We loved the cabin! It was perfect place to get together with the whole family and enjoy a couple days out in the woods. Most of us got service at the cabin (AT&T and Cricket) which was nice since we did not have wifi. Plenty of space for all of us and we loved that it was secluded. Super close to hikes and not too far from town. We would stay again!

Fun trip, perfect for our large group
This cabin was the perfect setup for our group. We had 4 couples and our kids/grandkids. There was enough rooms and they were spread out enough that we all had our privacy but were able to spend quality time together as well. It was close to all of the trails/caves and only a 15 minute drive into town. We will definitely be back!

Nice cabin but needs updates
Layout of bedrooms is great for large group but cabin needs work. Furniture is pretty worn and the lack of WiFi is a problem. Biggest problem is the stench of the water. The sulfa smell is prevalent when using the water or sitting by the fire pit as the sewer is close by. Bring lots of bottled water. You will want to use it when making coffee, brushing teeth, etc. Little extras would go a long way... providing hairdryers, corn hole, better kitchen supplies would be helpful.
