We came to Astoria with family to attend a wedding. This home was perfect for the six of us. Lots of space for all of us. The view of the river and all the ships coming and going entertained us all. Thank you Amy for being the perfect Host. The Goonies house close by was a bonus!

The photos don’t do it justice. It’s got a great view. It’s bigger than we expected. The kitchen is huge and has every appliance and cooking tool you could think of. There are two living rooms, allowing a family to spread out and have quiet time. The hardwood floors are special.
Amy was a perfect host. She made herself available if we ever needed anything. She has this down.

I have rented several properties through VRBO. Amy was the best host we have ever encountered. She was very responsive, helpful and went beyond our expectations. Her home is a beautiful, well kept and very comfortable! Would definitely stay here again

If you're going to Astoria, and you've got a crew, this is a perfect place to land. Gorgeous old Astoria home with an incredible view of the river and a stone's throw from Pier 39 (fabulous coffee shop, Rogue, fish market etc.) Everyone loved it!

If I could give 10 stars, I would! We visited Astoria, as a two family group 4 adults, five kids. It was a trip down memory lane for my husband and his sister. The house was absolutely perfect!
From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by its charm.
The exterior, adorned with lush garden and a welcoming porch, set the stage for a delightful retreat. The views could not be beat!
Stepping inside, we were greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The living spaces were spacious yet cozy, with tasteful furnishings and thoughtful touches throughout. Fresh flower bouquets in every room made us so very happy! Whether lounging in the comfy living room or enjoying meals in the well-appointed kitchen, every moment felt like an escape.
One of the highlights was undoubtedly the backyard oasis. The meticulously landscaped garden offered a peaceful sanctuary, ideal for morning coffees or evening conversations under the stars.
Above all, what truly set this house stay apart was the exceptional hospitality extended by the hosts. From their warm welcome to their helpful recommendations, they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was unforgettable.
In conclusion, our experience was nothing short of magical. Whether you're seeking a peaceful retreat or a base for exploring Astoria, this house stay offers an unparalleled blend of comfort, style, and hospitality. We can't wait to return and create more beautiful memories in this hidden gem.

Excellent and comfortable large house with plenty of extra room. Beautiful neighborhood and views of Columbia river and mountains. Quiet despite being in town and walkable to almost everything Astoria has to offer.

We had the best experience staying in this absolutely lovely home with a great view of the Columbia River. The host could not have been better. Everything was so comfortable and welcoming. We would absolutely stay here again.

The property is well maintained and spacious with lots of seating, comfortable furniture, and an excellent view from the living room. It's located in a quiet residential area (aside from hearing the sea lions down by the river), though was still close enough to conveniently reach most of the attractions in Astoria. The host was friendly and helpful, and we really enjoyed staying at the property.

Came for two nights with friends. Very easy check in process and courteous and consistent communication with the owner. Excellent view of the harbor and accessible location, where the only noise is from sea lions barking in the distance. The place is bigger than we expected with good appliances and fixtures. Very comfortable bedding. We look forward to booking this place again.

Wow!!!! Our stay here was incredible. We went to Astoria for our son's wedding and booked this place for us and our other son's family. We've been to Astoria before but didn't really know the lay of the land. Amy's place is in a wonderful neighborhood and the view was so peaceful when we were there to enjoy it. Amy was very communicative and we had no problem following her instructions on arrival. We enjoyed having a full kitchen.
Even though we didn't use it much, it gave us options. The set up was great for us. We stayed downstairs in the bedroom with bath and our kids and grandkids stayed upstairs. We brought the three grandkids' sleeping bags so they could enjoy being together but there were plenty of beds if we wanted them. The highlight of our time was that by having such a big place we were able to invite 2 or 3 people at a time to come over and spend a few hours with us in the parlor. It gave us more time with extended family. We will definitely return and would highly recommend this beautiful place with such a warm and inviting host.

This home was absolutely lovely, comfortable and clean! The front entrance and main floor suite was perfect for my elderly mother and the kitchen has everything you could ever need. Oh and the location is absolutely ideal! Beautiful views and charming neighborhood.
The only thing that would have made our stay better is a way to do laundry. I didn’t pay close enough attention and assumed there would be a washer and dryer, so we packed a bit lighter than we should have.
I hope we are able to stay here again and for longer next time. Thank you!

We are a family of 6 and we were staying in Astoria for 3 days. The house is well located, very comfy and in great shape. We felt at home and could enjoy nice meals due to a functional kitchen. Beds are very comfortable!
The host Amy was very kind and helpful if needed! The house has a nice info board where you get great tips for food as well as sightseeing options.
Thank you Amy for letting us enjoy your home.
Cheers from the Smeele family.

What a fantastic house! From start to finish communication was excellent. The house was spotless and so thoughtfully decorated and comfortable. The neighborhood is excellent and views are phenomenal. Couldn’t ask for a better experience and can’t wait to return.

First off, let me just say the house and amenities are absolutely wonderful. Charming, clean, spacious, well decorated home with beautiful views of the river, large and comfortable beds, and everything you could want for cooking, relaxing, and enjoying your time in Astoria with family and/or friends (we especially enjoyed the cozy parlor and fireplace on the multiple snowy evenings during our stay!)
However, the reason I wish I could give 6 stars out of 5 is due to the kindness and graciousness of the host, Amy. My friends and I ended up caught in a series of winter weather storms which shut down roads and forced us to unexpectedly extend our stay in Astoria for 3 extra nights. We were so lucky that this property was available the extra nights and so incredibly fortunate to have Amy as a host. She was so gracious and friendly throughout and checked in on us frequently to ensure we had everything we needed to stay safe, warm and comfortable during the snowy weather and ice storms, as well as the extra days. When we ended up needing to stay for 3 extra nights due to weather (in addition to my friend getting a flat tire) she was incredibly kind and understanding and she and her family did so much to help mitigate what could have been an even more stressful situation.
My friends and I agreee that we will be booking this rental again and recommending it to anyone we know visiting Astoria. Thank you again to Amy and family for accomodating us and being so kind and helpful!

We just spent six nights at this gem! The view of the river is spectacular. We were fortunate to be there for the full moon and the entire sky was bright. The property was spotless. The kitchen was better stocked than ours! There wasn't one thing we needed during our stay we didn't find.
We had mostly mild weather but the house has excellent heating when needed. There are numerous comfortable reading chairs with great lighting.
Within a block or two is a local coffee store, a pizza place, and a Safeway. Downtown Astoria is less than a 10 minute drive and has many great restaurants.
Amy, the host, is so welcoming and very easy to work with. There are many personal touches around the house, including fresh flowers.
We plan on a return visit !

Incredibly well decorated and considerate in providing books and interesting decorations to explore and learn about the area. It was a large house that felt cozy and warm. There are a lot of different spaces to hang out or read a book on your own. Very large kitchen and living spaces. Super comfortable rooms. We just wish we could have stayed longer! Highly recommended.

My husband and I met long time friends to explore Astoria. Amy's VRBO house was a WINNER! Here's what we liked:
the wonderful view of the Columbia River; the well stocked kitchen; the charming and lovely decorating throughout the house; the comfortable beds, chairs and sofas; fresh flower bouquets, super clean throughout; Amy's friendly helpfulness. She recommended activities, restaurants and shopping venues. Thank you, Amy!

Spacious main floor, open kitchen, dining, living room & view out over river--very comfortable for a family group. Master bedroom on main floor with other bedrooms upstairs for child & parent preferable.
Interesting wall & other decorations that were from area & chosen for the house (not like usual motel decor).

I was familiar with Astoria and we were there for a family reunion. The house was beautiful and the views were amazing. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked and the bedrooms very comfortable. I was surprised that the owners lived in the lower area of the house. Although we still had privacy it would have been nice to know this ahead of our arrival. The parking is somewhat challenging, as is typical for Astoria. A very good VRBO choice.

This well-preserved historic home is beautifully decorated and had comfortable furnishings, a well-stocked kitchen, and expansive views of the Columbia River from many of the rooms. It has an outside fireplace and seating area. It contained all sorts of thoughtful touches to remind us of the home's history. The host living below us was very kind and accommodating.

This place was PERFECT for our family's reunion in Astoria this summer. The 4 spacious and well appointed bedrooms, 2 full baths and the large great room plus bonus sitting room were comfortable and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and serving, the views were amazing and the hosts welcoming and super responsive. I would definitely recommend this "quintessential" Astoria home and hope to book again in the future!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. It is meticulously clean and offers plenty of comfortable seating in the front room where one can gaze at the amazingly beautiful view. Lots of throw blankets are available for coziness if it’s a bit chilly outside. The home is very well decorated, the kitchen is well stocked— in all, perfectly appointed. On top of all this, the host, Amy, is very helpful and friendly. We thoroughly recommend this home and hope to return.
