Palvelu oli todella hyvä, aamiainen oli laadukas ja runsas. Aamiainen tarjoiltiin suoraan pöytään. Huone oli siisti ja tilava.

The team was so friendly and accommodating. Everyone was a wealth of information. Made us feel right at home. Close to Cruise ports and restaurants. Not over crowded and easy to find.

Super nice staff. The included breakfast was one of the best, served by a professional cook. My wife especially enjoyed the attention from the resident cat. It's a nice short stroll the the historic downtown, and a short drive to the Pier.
We would have enjoyed a cocktail at the bar but it wasn't tended whenever we checked in the evening. We were traveling during slower time of the season so understand it not being tended all the time.

The property looks and IS actually amazing. Staff are wonderful!
What I didn't like is I booked only one night instead of more nights.

Great place to stay! Wonderful hosts, staff is fabulous. Accommodations are so comfortable. Beautiful and interesting area. James is awesome!

We loved the location. We found we could walk to everything we wanted to do. The home was beautiful. James was a walking encyclopedia when it came the history of Galveston. Michael prepared the perfect breakfast and Valerie and Graham were the best host. We loved our stay and are looking forward to staying there again.

This is a truly lovely historic manor. the grounds are lovely. We were extremely late arriving due to a cancelled flight, but there was someone there to welcome us and make sure we were settled for the night. The breakfast was amazing. Everyone was so friendly and helpful.

The history and presentation of this hotel are exceptional. You are made to feel very welcome. Our room was in the main building. Very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic, and we chose to eat dinner in the hotel one night. We were not disappointed at all. The food was delicious. Would definitely stay again.
The towels could be thicker

No complaints. We only stayed one night before a cruise.

The George Manor is as elegant as the pictures posted on the website. We were met at the gate by Graham George who brought us to our room and gave us the quick tour. So friendly. The Kaiserhof Suite was spacious and absolutely lovely. We wished we were staying more than one night! Looking forward to returning. Already told family to look for The George Manor when in Galveston. Graham and Valerie were in constant contact with us (loved that personal touch). Michael de Beyer (chef) came and introduced himself to us and let us know all about the breakfast accommodations. Just a wonderful group of people at a fabulous one of a kind bed and breakfast!
4.8
The history along with the personal touch of the owner and staff made it feel as we were the only ones staying in the manor. We were super surprised to find out there were other couples staying there.
The property is rich in history. The modernization of the amenities mixed with the historic charm was the perfect mix.

Beautiful historic vibe, still rooms modern and very comfortable.
Room very spacious, enjoyed teas and coffee station, reading on the couch and amazing bedroom: the suite was really a small apartment!
Delicious breakfast with engaging chats with our host Michael.
Easy to park for free outside the Manor.
Location 10 mi it’s away from the Strand and from the gulf: perfect.
Loads of good food options nearby, dinner in the Manor sounded amazing but we were more on a casual spirit and went nearby.
Recommended for any type of Galveston vacation

The Hosts are incredible, and every other staff member we encountered and spoke with was friendly and professional. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We felt like family from the beginning.
They were accommodating with rides to the cruise port, dining recommendations, and even a place to park your car in secured parking with a shuttle should you need it for your cruise.
We love bed the building and grounds. We enjoyed hearing how Graham took the time over 3 years to completey renovate this historical home to it's original splendor. There's a few things that weren't operational but it didn't bother us and we're completely understandable.

This is an excellent venue. 1850s build by the Stephen Austin Family. Texas heros. The staff is superb. Great continental breakfast. The Strand just a few block away. And Seawall side just a little further. Uber was plentiful. We will be staying here again in future
Historical feel, the owners, the ambiance, the breakfast. Great spot

This discovery was truly remarkable—an exquisite location for embarking on cruises from Galveston. The proprietors are truly exceptional individuals, possessing a wealth of knowledge encompassing not only the rich history of this esteemed hotel but also insights into cruise destinations. Engaging in a conversation with them before finalizing any excursion plans would undoubtedly prove valuable. Complementing their hospitality, they extend the courtesy of providing complimentary transportation to the check-in entrance. Having had the privilege of visiting numerous hotels for both business and leisure, I can attest that the owners stand out as among the most pleasant and authentic individuals I've had the pleasure of encountering.
During my brief stay, there was nothing I found displeasing. Being a vintage establishment, it's important to anticipate a charming ambiance that carries a nostalgic aura. The rooms offer comfort and include all necessary amenities, although it's worth noting that the historical rooms retain an older appearance and ambiance.

Beautiful property, clean and comfortable rooms. Exceptional service.

The staff was great, and the property was beautiful, both inside and out. However, what I will always remember the most, is meeting one of the most interesting men in the world. We had the pleasure of visiting with the owner, Graham George, while sipping on an amazingly good Pinot Noir. So, we will definitely be back.
Sorry, can't think of anything.
