Staff so friendly

The location was excellent.
The room presentation was very poor, hard squeaky bed, filthy broken windows, mouldy bathroom seals, curtains falling off rods. Room smelt very unpleasant during our six day stay. Nervous to use air conditioner as the air filter mechanism was missing from the front, air conditioner looked very dusty inside.
The room we were given was a total misrepresentation of the advertisement on Booking.com . The public bar areas as advertised in the photo are derelict now and the all the public toilets were closed with extremely filthy mats and signage at the entrances. We were asked to pay an additional $250 deposit on arrival, until our departure. Id be delighted to send comparison photos. I was totally shocked upon arrival. The room service each day was good, thankfully. Very limited television viewing. Staff sullen. We will be checking any future bookings very carefully before we commit with booking.com.

The helpfulness and friendliness of the staffs special mentioned staff William from Indonesia and Arina from Singapore . Both helped me in directing how to go to my destination and finding pharmacy when I need to buy medication. William arranged a quieter room after knowing I am a light sleeper
Arina allowed me to put luggage at storage room first instead of I bringing up to my room because tour bus was waiting . Appreciate it
Before my arrival in perth , criterion hotel already assured my booking and settled the refund issue instead of my own bank in my country
Personally I like the security in Criterion, witnessed how William asked the person outside the main door , those questions carefully before opening the main door
Thank you Criterion hotel
WiFi , connection not stable

Its in a great central location , very short walk to Murray Mall , Hay Street Mall , Elizabeth Quay , Perth Bus and Train Stations. Lots of food options close by and Northbridge is only a 10 minute walk . The room was very clean and had every thing you would need . The Motel is in need of a bit of an uplift but its good value for money .
Nothing really

Very dated

nothing, may be the location near the shopping mall. Dirty dirty dirty!
here we go - I had to leave a $250 deposit on toop of my pre paid stay as well as they had my credit card details, the hotel is falling apart, dirty, dilapidated, carpet is thread bear, the paint is chipped and very very old, curtains in the room are yellow and torn, the room itself was clean, very old damaged furniture.

Convenient location

The location is great
The hote looks tired and old. Time for some TLC
3.2
The hotel is making an effort to improve and there is clear evidence of renovation. Bathroom looked like it had already been improved. Security seems good. Lift available. Toiletries and hair drier provided. Very central in Perth. Easy to use public transport or taxi/Uber.
3.2
Close to our function, walking distance to train station. Cleaning staff did a good job at making beds and general cleanliness of the place. However, the bathroom was a letdown as it was mouldy.
The rude staff on arrival was not very helpful in providing parking details or where we could get breakfast or any good sight or places to visit.
We had to wait for the morning staff to find out the information we needed.
3.2
The receptionist is helpful. The location is great !
nothing

It was good value for money, & several of the staff were really kind & helpful, booking us a taxi for early one morning to get to the airport. The Gentleman that works on the desk throughout the night is really helpful - thank you for your great suggestions on jogging routes each morning.
There wasn't much atmosphere within the hotel itself, & no communal reception area. We understand though that it is currently going through redevelopment works, so this may change.
3.2
Near train Station and city
A rather bad area at night felt safe in the hotel.

Location is in the city centre

We were after a place to chill out for 6 hours or so before a late night flight. Beds were fine, shower was hot, staff were helpful and the room was very clean.
The building is a bit tired but that's expected for the price.
3.2
Lady at reception was polite & very helpful, gentleman at reception on leaving, was also polite & helpful. Location, 100m from Hay St mall. 5min walk to train station.
Overall rating 1. Very outdated on every level. Approach looks shabby at best, hard to find - drove past it twice, carpets BADLY worn, paint cracking everywhere, rooms (presumably formerly dining) visibly used for storage; room-??? aircon front panel missing, tv only channel 10 could be viewed! clock/radio volume loud & not adjustable, window at roof-top level with VERY easy access from outside & not able to be locked,

I pretty much liked all of the hotel facilities including the room that I stayed in. It was big & spacious as was the adjoining bathroom. Finally, all of the staff were very friendly & cooperative.
Nothing really. However it would have been useful to have had a micro-wave in the room. OK.
3.2
Very comfy beds, friendly staff, very close to Hay St and Murray St malls.
