Great place and location. Very relaxing ambiance, well equipped, and cozy. One disappointing factor was the extreme amount of dust/pollen on entire deck and all deck furniture, housekeeping should have rinsed it down, would have only taken a couple minutes. Everything else was great.

Fantastic cabin, great location, and confortable. Great communication with fascoe rentals

Nice property in a nice community. Easy access to all the local attractions.

This is the third time we stayed in the place. It’s our annual trout fishing trip. Plenty of room. Close to the stream. We really enjoyed staying there.
4.8
This place was clean when we checked in. Everything was in working order. Between the hot tub, fire pit, and views, we found it more than adequate for our ski house.
4.8
We had a great family getaway. Very convenient to Boone and a short drive to the ski hills. Roads were well maintained during the snowy weather as well.

The location is near the center of Valle Cruses so convenient and quiet. It is in a neighborhood with neighbors adjoining in case you are looking for a secluded cabin. The house is very nice and the area is quiet. The hot tub worked fine and it has a propoane firepit in the fenced yard with a nice large wrap around porch. The one negative is that we did not realize we were not going to be dealing with the owner, as our other VRBO experiences. The house is rented through Foscoe Rentals which is a corporate rental business which has many, many houses hence the paperwork was six plus pages with many clauses that we do not have to deal with when renting from an individual owner. The texts and e-mails were not personal as we are accustomed to with VRBO. For a short term rental of only 2-3 days this is cumbersome. I wish this had been disclosed somehwere in the listing prior to getting into this cumbersome corporate rental paperwork for a short stay.

Great weekend getaway! Due to a pretty significant snow storm (at least to us) we didn’t even leave the cabin once we arrived! It was well stocked and we were able to just relax by the fire

We enjoyed the property very much. Hot tub was nice. Beds were comfortable. House was very clean. No real complaints. Just a couple of minor suggestions: Deck chairs were a bit dusty, Wi-Fi was spotty - maybe because of location in the mountains. But overall a very pleasant experience. And we would come again.

We had an amazing stay at the Red Roof Retreat. The cabin was absolutely lovely and in a fantastic location. It was very clean and was a perfect fit for our spring break trip with our children. They adored the beautiful backyard and porches for exploring. We were able to walk down to the river several times and enjoyed many of the local businesses. Thank you for opening up your beautiful property and we will be back!

My family stayed here for the weekend and the house was great. It was super cozy, clean, and overall a great house. Love the porches and backyard here!

Great place for two families. Cool location near a stream and quite peaceful. Hot tub was a plus but the chemicals were all off (we had a family that has their own and was very serious about ph, chlorine levels and more). We let company know and they immediately made them better. Great service. The only real challenge was some of the kitchen seems dated with older knives, pots and such.

Everything was clean and spacious and close to boone

We had the best time at Red Roof Retreat and it was the perfect location for going to Tweetsie Railroad and Linville Falls. I highly recommend this place.

We were extremely disappointed in this house. The pictures online showed a bright clean house. This house is dark and dirty. The wrap around porch roof and the shrubs that are at roof level block any sunlight from getting into the house. I have never been in a house this dark. We were there for a month and we agreed being in such a dark place for a month was depressing. Also, this house needs a serious deep cleaning. There is hair everywhere, even in the beds. I believe whoever cleans this house does the kitchen and the bathrooms, changes the beds and pays little attention to the rest of the house. There were areas that appeared not to have been vacuumed in forever.
The tv is complicated. Unless someone is totally familiar with Roku I suggest they get a tutorial before staying here. You also need to be aware there is no cell service except for
WiFi cellular. We had to go to the Verizon store to get help with that and had to reboot our phones a couple of times to get service. That was doable but still a nuisance.
The location is off the beaten path. It’s about a three mile ride from hiway 105 on a very winding road. If you’re into walking, Redtail Hawk Road is a pretty and easy walk.
We have had lots of good experiences using and VRBO. This wasn’t one of them.

Quite and very convenient. Would definitely stay at this location again.

We booked this cabin to have easy access to the river for trout fishing. We had 5 people total stay here and had plenty of room for everyone. The grill and fire pit worked perfect.

This home worked so nicely for our family. The loft, the sunroom/office, the kitchen, and the large family/living room, as well as the porches and the yard, gave us comfortable options for grouping together. The large and well-equipped kitchen was really wonderful for what I love to do as the nana in the family ~ cook for everybody. Thank you for making such a warm and beautiful place available for guests. We also own a short term rental here in Boone, which makes us especially appreciative of how clean and in good condition everything was. And goodnesss, what a great location. Paul and Judith
