About this cottage rental

This cozy, freshly renovated cottage is perfect for families and friends to have an island getaway. Less than 2 miles away from Chincoteague's main attractions, and only a few minutes drive to the beach, this is the perfect vacation spot.
This spacious 450 sq. ft cottage features an open concept floor plan, with one bed room and bathroom. A queen bed in the main living area, and a bunk bed with a full and single bed in the bedroom.The outside offers a screened in porch, outdoor electric grill, outdoor shower.

Linens for bed and bath will NOT be provided.
There will be a 100.00 per night extra charge for any emotional support animals.
You will be sent check in information a few days before your stay

Please try to leave cottage as clean as you would expect it for your stay, the next guest and the owner will greatly appreciate your cooperation.

We had a great 5 night stay at the cottage. Everything was very clean. The kitchen was well equipped. The host was friendly but not intrusive. The space is actually bigger than the photos. We’re planning on staying there again next time we’re in the area. Thank you!

This is our second time staying at this property and it is perfect. It was my husband and I and our two kids. It’s just a short drive to the beach and all the things to do. Quiet little street. We love it and hope to stay again next year.

This was our first visit to Chincoteague and Pony Week. Don gave us great tips for things to do and where to watch the pony swim and parade during our 3 night stay. In addition, he gave us names of auto shops that could fix our flat tire! The small cottage was an excellent location for both the pony swim and pony parade. The cottage is cutely decorated, has lots of electrical outlets, is well stocked, but had a slight musty smell in the living room. That being said, the smell would not deter me from booking again. The bathroom was updated, had an excellent shower, and no musty smell. The cottage was a great place to stay with an awesome host.

This has to be the easiest and most enjoyable Vrbo experience we have ever had. Donald was super easy to work with and flexible with a slight schedule change. He was eager to help with suggestions for shenanigans, all of which were spot on. The home is impeccable and absolutely spotless, with every convenience and comfort needed. My daughter and I left ready to rebook. Thank you for a wonderful weekend in charming Chincoteague!

Perfect for a couple or a family with young children. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and everything you need to cook and eat in. Close to everything. Screened in porch was lovely, especially in the morning and evening. Don’t forget to bring your own linens.

The cottage is close to downtown and the beach yet located on a quiet back street. The place was very clean and had everything we needed for our weekend stay. We greatly enjoyed our time here and look forward to returning again.

Spotless, pleasant, private. It was the perfect place for our 2 day stay in Chincoteague to explore the shore and parks. Used primarily sleeping and bathing but noticed the kitchen was equipped to do meals if you need to.

We celebrated a friend's 60 something birthday staying at this quaint, cozy and perfectly outfitted Chincoteague cottage and enjoyed every minute! It was comfortable and in the perfect, quiet location but with easy proximity to Chincoteague attractions. There was plenty of room for our 4 adult ladies and the outdoor shower and screened in porch were icing on the cake! The Host was very accommodating and we are already looking forward to planning our next trip!!

Assateague Island is the most beautiful island/ beaches that we have ever had the pleasure to walk. If you are willing to put in the physical exercise to get past the masses of people, the beaches are a private paradise.

I was sold with the outdoor shower! Nothing like showering under the open sky. We ate all our meals on the screened front porch and enjoyed the quiet cozy cottage and all the decorative hints of the sea all around. It was extremely clean and very convenient location yet out of the hustle and bustle of town.

We were thrilled with this house! The owners have two little houses on this dead end road. My kids had fun playing out front and we had no worries of cars since it was so private. The screened in porch was perfect for eating and reading. We had so much fun on Chincoteague as a family there are a lot of amazing things to do for younger kids. It’s the perfect house for a family of four with young kids. The kids room has bunk beds with a door that closes. My kids slept great! the outside shower, perfect for post beach sand rinsing. My only note is that you do need to drive most places it isn’t very walkable but there is a Trolley into town on the weekends. Also a restaurant, pit stop quick mart and produce stand very close by. We highly recommend this house to anyone!

This is the perfect vacation spot for families with little kids. The cottage was more spacious than I expected, and my older kids loved having bunk beds in a separate room. Everything was clean and as described in the listing. The location is just a shirt drive from the beach. We definitely plan to stay here again.
