Well fist the advertising is misleading as to the proximity of the unit and the condition of the property. We arrive and let’s just say I was disgusted if I can provide pictures here I will.

Outside property was well maintained and on the beach. Very dirty. Floors were disgusting. There was no way they had been mopped probably ever. Windows were nasty. Cobwebs. Outdated. Broken dishwasher. No A/C. Advertised as having A/C and was extremely needed. Broken stair someone fell because of. Nice resort. Horrible unit.

Terrible house conditions. Not renovated house as claimed. Filthy behind cabinets. Spider webs all over ceilings. Old dirty bathrooms with molde in corners. Old dirty window blinds. Closets filled with bags of sheets and towels. Not enough wine glasses or other Crystal glasses or cookware for a group of 9 guests (5 in total available), 2 rolls of paper available for entire stay. Key Mobil entrance not working. Microwave, stove and dishwasher dirty and old and in poor conditions. Totally overpriced. We have tons of pictures of house conditions to share. However, we give Julio, our maintenance guy a high review. He was incredible by helping out in every possible way.

Nice place close to the water. No view but very short walk to the waters edge. House was very comfortable with nice beds. Both bathrooms are on the ground floor. Not to long of a drive to the casinos and Heavenly Village. A few things could use updating but overall a comfortable and nice stay.

Sadly I am very disappointed in my stay at Lakeland. It was advertised as a remodeled cabin, I did not see that. For starters, I received a call day of check in that the keyless entry did not work and we had to use the master key for our entire stay. One of the main reasons we booked was for the keyless entry, it was a pain to only have one key and management made no effort to fix the keyless entry while we were there for six days. All appliances appeared to be outdated, the fridge constantly was making noise and there were visible cracks in the downstairs bathroom sinks. The microwave had no handle, we had to pry open the door from the bottom to use. I'm not sure if the floors were mopped or cleaned before our arrival, because the floors were very dirty. I also wished there was information left for us on how to get into the pool area and tennis courts. We also weren't advise of the best place to throw our trash away. The worst part about our stay was the unscheduled shut off of our water that happened to be on our wedding day. There was no notice and as the bride, having to figure out where to get ready day of with running water was not acceptable. After calling management, they apologized but offered no solution but to call property management of the complex. Their first response was there wasn't anything could do about no water, and we would just have to return after 6pm. Until I said this was my wedding day, they then offered another rental 20 minutes away, which would not work since we booked Lakeland because it's next-door to Riva Grill where we were getting married. We waited 3 hours for property management from Lakeland village to get back to use with an alternative solution which was to provide us another room within the complex to use for the day. We were told to go to the front desk to get the keyless code, and when we got there we were told we could not use the new room due to the fact that we rented the original room through a 3rd party app. We had to call property management back, and explained it to the manager that it was my wedding day and I had everyone meeting here and I needed running water. The property manager then walked over and gave us a new unit within the property because I was the bride. We were also told someone would contact us to discuss how we would be compensated for the inconvenience and we have yet to receive a call or email. Overall communication was horrible and I spend most of my morning on the phone instead of getting ready for my wedding. For the amount of money we spent on this rental, the service and place was not worth it and we would not do this again.
