Well fist the advertising is misleading as to the proximity of the unit and the condition of the property. We arrive and let’s just say I was disgusted if I can provide pictures here I will.

Outside property was well maintained and on the beach. Very dirty. Floors were disgusting. There was no way they had been mopped probably ever. Windows were nasty. Cobwebs. Outdated. Broken dishwasher. No A/C. Advertised as having A/C and was extremely needed. Broken stair someone fell because of. Nice resort. Horrible unit.

Great place to stay!

Terrible house conditions. Not renovated house as claimed. Filthy behind cabinets. Spider webs all over ceilings. Old dirty bathrooms with molde in corners. Old dirty window blinds. Closets filled with bags of sheets and towels. Not enough wine glasses or other Crystal glasses or cookware for a group of 9 guests (5 in total available), 2 rolls of paper available for entire stay. Key Mobil entrance not working. Microwave, stove and dishwasher dirty and old and in poor conditions. Totally overpriced. We have tons of pictures of house conditions to share.
However, we give Julio, our maintenance guy a high review. He was incredible by helping out in every possible way.

Overall it was a great place

Nice place close to the water. No view but very short walk to the waters edge. House was very comfortable with nice beds. Both bathrooms are on the ground floor. Not to long of a drive to the casinos and Heavenly Village.
A few things could use updating but overall a comfortable and nice stay.

Sadly I am very disappointed in my stay at Lakeland. It was advertised as a remodeled cabin, I did not see that. For starters, I received a call day of check in that the keyless entry did not work and we had to use the master key for our entire stay. One of the main reasons we booked was for the keyless entry, it was a pain to only have one key and management made no effort to fix the keyless entry while we were there for six days. All appliances appeared to be outdated, the fridge constantly was making noise and there were visible cracks in the downstairs bathroom sinks. The microwave had no handle, we had to pry open the door from the bottom to use. I'm not sure if the floors were mopped or cleaned before our arrival, because the floors were very dirty. I also wished there was information left for us on how to get into the pool area and tennis courts. We also weren't advise of the best place to throw our trash away.
The worst part about our stay was the unscheduled shut off of our water that happened to be on our wedding day. There was no notice and as the bride, having to figure out where to get ready day of with running water was not acceptable. After calling management, they apologized but offered no solution but to call property management of the complex. Their first response was there wasn't anything could do about no water, and we would just have to return after 6pm. Until I said this was my wedding day, they then offered another rental 20 minutes away, which would not work since we booked Lakeland because it's next-door to Riva Grill where we were getting married. We waited 3 hours for property management from Lakeland village to get back to use with an alternative solution which was to provide us another room within the complex to use for the day. We were told to go to the front desk to get the keyless code, and when we got there we were told we could not use the new room due to the fact that we rented the original room through a 3rd party app. We had to call property management back, and explained it to the manager that it was my wedding day and I had everyone meeting here and I needed running water. The property manager then walked over and gave us a new unit within the property because I was the bride. We were also told someone would contact us to discuss how we would be compensated for the inconvenience and we have yet to receive a call or email.
Overall communication was horrible and I spend most of my morning on the phone instead of getting ready for my wedding. For the amount of money we spent on this rental, the service and place was not worth it and we would not do this again.

Really enjoy our stay. The house is very beautiful and is so close to the beach. There are a lot of stores near by. I took my parents here for the first time. We enjoyed the view of sunrise and sunset very much. We want to come back again during winter.

I loved staying at this condo. Beds are comfortable, smells clean, and steps from the beach. I have it 4 stars only because there AC was a portable unit which took awhile to cool the loft. Other from that- we will be staying here again.

Tastefully decorated. Very welcoming space. Bathrooms are recently renovated and toilets are new. Overall clean home - however- it shows it's age. There were broken appliances, misaligned windowsills, several amenities that are listed but not really available such as air conditioning, all the items needed for baby (gates, crib etc), there's no BBQ grill on site- which is terrible for us because we brought a cooler full of items to grill! Although the laundry is well equipped, the kitchen is poorly stocked - not even salt and pepper, coffee or tea. The microwave oven's handle and exhaust cover are broken, pots with broken/missing handles to name a few issues.
The management company did bring a baby gate for us. The representative was kind and accommodating but was limited by what he could do.
All in all, it was embarrassing for me to have booked this place for my family- problems were constantly being pointed out that I had to address or explain. It wasn't worth the expensive cost for only two nights. Will not be renting from LUXEvaca again.

Without reading the reviews I would not have know the property was multiple levels. The location to the beautiful not-too-crowded beach and fireworks was amazing. The interior was as pictured. Luckily for us it wasn’t too warm while visiting. The main room gets warm and stuffy even when using the fans provided. Although the living area was warm the downstairs sleeping area was nice and cool. The kitchen is definitely in need of an upgrade. With only two burners working and the microwave handle broken the luxury of the rest of the place is lost a bit. The beds were comfortable and furnishings nice. For the price is was just what we needed!

Condo is in a perfect location near everything. Pool, hot tub, beach were wonderful. Unit was well equipped. Only downfall is that the only shower (for a unit that sleeps 11) and a small powder room are both downstairs. A pain for those up in the loft. We rented a boat from Tahoe Wakebusters that was AWESOME. Had a great week with the family.

The bulletin board on the wall gave us so many ideas where to go. The location is so convenient to the beach , to the restaurant, to the shopping center . Love it! We would like to come back again in a few months

This unit is super close to the lake nestled behind one row of condos, you can walk the beach anytime you want. Also within walking distance is the pier where you can rent watersport items, take a boat trip, enjoy dinner or shop. The location is ideal. With that said, there are a few things not mentioned in the listing or the contract: You only get two parking passes. If you bring another car, they will ask you to park at a casino. There is no air conditioning! Not usually an issue in Tahoe, but that loft space gets really warm even when the outside temp is in the low 70s. But there are three freestanding electric fans available in the bedroom closets for you to use.
You may or may not notice from the pics that this is a three level unit. You have three steps to enter the unit, then you have the two bedrooms and one and a half bathrooms on the that floor. Then you have 14 steps to the main living area and kitchen (btw the fridge froze our food, microwave is missing a handle, and one burner on the stove doesn't work), then there are 14 more steps to the very small loft. Families with kids will not mind this configuration, but trying to squeeze 5 or 6 adults in this place would be tight. Oh yes, there is a pool and a huge hot tub not far from the unit, but you need to ask for the code to get in (its not the same as your door code).

The kitchen counter was sticky and had dried food on it. The microwave didn't have a door to open it, it was broken. The dining room chairs had food crumbs all over them, the bathroom curtain smelled like pee and their was black hair all over the bedroom pillows.
The only reason I'm giving it a two star is because the staff was pleasant and it is a good location close to the lake. Other than that we are very disappointed in the amount of money we spent and the house we received.
As soon as we walked in we were disappointed. The house was extremely smaller than we thought. It says it could hold 12 people but it was too small for our party of 8.

Great location, can't ask for better hosts.

Positives:
- location
- heater
- water pressure
- tv in bedrooms
- linens
- lots of kitchen appliances
- very clean!
- fit all of our people and pets allowed!
Cons
- door key pad. We didn't know we weren't locking the door when we left. Suggest you add instructions on locking the door
- only 2 of 4 stove burners working
- only one small kitchen knife and the pans can be upgraded! (We cooked a lot)
- living room tv was way too small! We love our movie nights!
- we had some elderly so it would have been perfect to have 1/2 bath on the main floor
Overall we enjoyed our stay! Thanks!

The property was overall nice. It was also comfortable. However, I didn’t realize that both bathrooms were downstairs next to each other. It did make it hard for the person staying upstairs to use the restroom since they would have to go down two flights of stairs. Lastly, one of the beds downstairs stunk, not sure if it was the pillow, bed sheets, or mattress but it had an very unpleasant smell. The other beds were fine. Overall great home, had everything we needed. The location made it easy for us to get around.

We loved the place. The place was very clean and looks just like the photos posted. The location is great and just a short walk to the beautiful lake.
Thanks.

Location was great and shuttle service to Heavenly was very helpful! We were able to walk to a couple restaurants and the cvs when we needed small items. Beds were comfortable! Kitchen had everything we needed. The entire place was clean. The hot tub was a hot and a very short walk. The owner responded quickly when I had a question before arrival. Check-in and out was easy. One strange thing was that the restrooms were all on bottom level, but that wasn't an actual problem, just far for the kids staying up in the loft. My only complaint would be that the front steps weren't cleared of snow and ice, making it difficult to bring in groceries or luggage. I would stay in this location again. Thank you!

The unit is nicely decorated, very quaint, clean and very close to the lake! The only challenge is that both bathrooms are on the first level of the unit. The 2nd level is where the kitchen and sitting area is and it was cumbersome to have to down stairs to use the restroom. Other than that it is a great place to stay!

Great place to rest and spend time with family and friends.

My family and I had lots of fun in tahoe. We had zero problems during our stay, home was sparkling clean had plenty of towels, and the beds were comfortable. We had great customer service no matter how big our how small the questions are. We have rented before from Luxevaca and they keep improving!! We are very happy and will be customers as long as we travel.
