Welcome to The Cabin Tahoe Donner, a hidden sanctuary conveniently located on the golf course! Public amenities include family-friendly skiing at Tahoe Donner Ski Resort. For sledding and tubing, make your way to Snowplay, or discover 100 km of trails at the Tahoe Donner Cross Country Ski Center. In the summer, practice your swing at Tahoe Donner Golf Course and explore over 60 miles of hiking trails in the area, or enjoy a beach day at Donner Lake or North Shore of Lake Tahoe. To venture out on horseback, visit the Tahoe Donner Equestrian Center.

Get healthy and have good times at the Trout Creek Recreational Center with the complementary membership cards -- and a guest charge -- where you can enjoy incredible swimming pools, tantalizing hot tubs, a high-energy fitness center, and relaxation inducing sauna and steam rooms.

Back at home, enjoy the spacious deck with intoxicatingly fresh air and a view of the lovely golf course. Create memories here with classic barbeque night and alfresco dining! Inside, the bright, open floor plan displays a spacious living area with cathedral ceilings that overlooks the fairway. Gather together for a movie night. The second-story living area also has a comfortable place to rest or watch television. Chat with your guests as you prepare food, enjoying the lovely views and large, clean kitchen. Enjoy warm conversations and create memories at the adjacent dining room table. Mix evening cocktails at the wet bar equipped with a mini refrigerator before enjoying your dinner.

The primary bedroom boasts a king bed, soaring ceilings, beautiful windows, seating area, spacious walk-in closet, and deck access. The large en-suite bathroom features a jetted soaking tub, walk-in shower, double vanity, and water closet. On the second story, guests can relax in one of the two bedrooms with king-sized beds and a shared bathroom with a shower and bath combination. The fourth bedroom has four separate twin beds. The en-suite bathroom has a shower and bath combination and water closet. For convenience, the fourth bathroom, which is a half bath, is located on the first floor near the kitchen. WiFi and a washer/dryer are also provided.

Your reservation includes two passes that allow up to eight guests to access the Trout Creek Recreation Center for a daily fee per person. Amenities include swimming pools, hot tubs, fitness center, and sauna as well as access to the Tahoe Donner Tennis Center and the Beach Club Marina.
10 maximum number of occupants (excluding children under thirteen, 13, years of age) permitted

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. No more dogs are allowed.

The place was comfortably spacious. We were only a couple minutes from Downhill Ski Resort and 20 minutes from Donner Ski Ranch. There was a large area in the back of the house where the kids could play in the snow. The fireplace in the living room made the stay cozy. However, there were some aspects of our stay that were less than desirable. Some of the plates were dirty with old food on them and the pillowcases in at least two of the bedrooms smelled like unwashed hair. One of the full bathrooms is in the kids’ room, and inaccessible from one of the main bedrooms. This might have been made more explicit on the listing. Most importantly, the heater did not work for 3 of the 4 days we were there. The thermostat read 50 degrees F at one point. We texted and called the property manager who promised to come by to fix it but they never did. Thank goodness we managed to get a fire going in the fireplace. Otherwise, it would have been uncomfortable indoors.

We had a great time staying here at the cabin. There were 3 families and 4 kids - all the kids slept in the 'dorm' room with plenty of room for all. We were also able to have them use the TV upstairs for movies while the adults enjoyed dinner downstairs. The surrounding area is beautiful and we used the grill and cooked all weekend. The oven looks brand new and worked great. We also went to the pool at the club- just FYI it's 20/person for everyone over the age of 7 which was a bit steeper than we had expected.

It is a five star sanctuary for serenity and enjoyment!!! The property is well designed and felt luxurious in its comfort because it is genuinely comfortable, like a well-loved pair of designer clothing. The cathedral ceilings provide awesome views of the pine trees and golf fairway, which, although still feels private, creates interest when people are playing through. I felt like I was in a country chic boutique hotel. You can see in the photos, the interior architecture is unique, incredible and beautiful. The ceilings and views give it the feel of a sanctuary. One could relax in the living room or on the deck enjoying the bucolic views for hours! The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the master bedroom is chic and large. The master bathroom is large and feels like a spa with a huge shower and terrific water pressure. The deck is ample and relaxing. The kitchen has everything one needs to prepare meals. It's spacious, uncluttered, and in the ample cabinetry there are an abundance of pots and pans, cooking utensils, serving ware, etc. The oven and microwave oven appeared to be new. The kitchen has a modern floor plan, so it opens to the rest of the living space, which makes it social and friendly. The furniture and carpets are in excellent condition and were clean. The smell is phenomenal. Everything worked well! I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to relax in this peaceful, mountain chic sanctuary of a home. Very spacious, this is an ideal place to reconnect with a grandchild or grandchildren on an intimate family retreat. One could sit inside all day happily, enjoying the incredible mountain air and views, yet there are so many hikes for every ability, and activities like horse riding lessons, bike trails, swimming in the Donner Lake or Lake Tahoe. I experienced a phenomenal park in the community with views of the lake that were incredible. I took another hike near the equestrian center and saw amazing flora and fauna. I am very happy and excited about the photos I took--they are phenomenal, and my children loved them. It is an ideal place to create happy, lasting memories. This property is designed to foster intimate and healthy human connections. It creates an atmosphere where one can relax, integrate, renew, and connect and reconnect!!! What a joy and blessing to have experienced this home!!! Ski View Adventure home is highly recommended!!! I hope future guests enjoy it too!!! Thank you!!! Thank you!!! This location is less than 10 minutes from town, doesn't feel like a sterile hotel, and sleeps everyone we could think to bring along!! And with eight or nine *feet* of snow outside the windows - *lots* of privacy! We'll DEFinitely be back - ASAP!! =D

The location and layout of the house worked well for us (3 couples and young kids) but the house could use some general care/upkeep. After reading past reviews (from as far back as last summer!) about the oven not working properly, it was extremely annoying that it still wasn’t fixed. After an hour and a half, the oven still didn’t get up to 300 degrees. The toilets are really old and barely flush efficiently and the beds were uncomfortable. This could be a great place to stay with some attention to repairs and updating. They do provide a washer and dryer but both are really small. The wood burning stove was great…we had a fire going all day/every day. If you do plan to stay here, make sure you bring plenty of normal supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, bath towels etc) as they provide just the minimum amount. We had tons of snow and the snowplow service was fantastic…they cleared the roads and our driveway every morning.

Living room was by far the best feature of the home with the wall of windows. Kitchen is in dire need of cookware and organization. Oven was malfunctioning during our stay. Areas in the home had peeling paint and dirty walls. One upstairs bathroom had a bad case of mold as well. It’s unfortunate renters pay such a rate for a home that needs work.

The house is large and spacious. Plenty of room for 5 adults and 3 kids. The kids loved the "playroom" with 2 sets of bunk beds and another 4 twin beds. We all enjoyed the amenities; TV, WiFi, games, etc. The only issue we encountered is the kitchen oven. It's very slow to heat up. We waited 1 hour and 42 minutes for the oven to reach 375 degrees. Once it made it to 375 it did not maintain the temperature. Unfortunately, this made meal preparation difficult!! Our holiday menu was restricted, we did not have our planned turkey with dressing, rolls, casseroles, etc. Doesn't seem like a big deal, but ovens really are instrumental in making holidays memorable.

The place was very nice and accomodating. There were a few items that needed attention. There were no supplies that are usually provided. Napkins, paper towels (one roll), garbage bags (only one). We could not get the stove to work, either on broil or bake. That made it tough for preparing or warming up food. We had eight guests and three children and there was hardly one towel each with very few wash cloths. The place was nice with plenty of space, blankets, extra sheets and pillows.
