The location was perfect as a home base for day trips to Mount Rushmore, Badlands National Park and great hiking in Custer State Park. Management very responsive. Great to have both drip coffee maker and Kuerig.

This was a nuce place for us to use as a central location for exploring the surrounding attractions. It served our needs very well and were very happy with our stay.

As vendors of the Stock Show, it was so nice to have a place close to the Civic Center but also in a quiet part of the town. Very nice and they had extra K-cups which was appreciated when ours ran out!

We used Rapid City as a base camp for several day trips. Neighborhood is quiet and yet close to amenities. Kitchen is well-supplied for those who like to cook in. Owner was responsiveness.

The house was small, but very convenient to all the attractions in the Black Hills area and downtown Rapid City. The house was very clean and the neighborhood was very quiet. We enjoyed our stay here.

This was a nice home that had some renovations done. The house was stocked very well. Plenty of towels, dishes soap, paper towels and garbage bags. The AC worked great as we had 90 + degree days. The Hide a bed was comfortable. The neighborhood is old with some nice homes and some not. There were two main issues. The owner let’s the neighbors use the garage for vehicle repair. I was surprised to see men in the small backyard.
The smell of motor oil and gas was strong at times, the back deck was not usable unless you enjoy that smell. The bed frame in main room was broke upon arrival making the bed uncomfortable. The mattresses were good. We left early. To be fair I did not contact Dan until we left, he was very responsive and concerned but was unwilling to offer any refund.I let him know he needs to let his guest be aware of people using the small yard before they look out the window to see men moving furniture and doing car repairs. It was very alarming to my family especially with a teen girl and boy. It made us uncomfortable not knowing in advance that people would be outside the window working. We did enjoy our time at all the beautiful parks in the area.

We enjoyed our stay in Rapid City. The property met our needs. Good location in a quiet neighborhood. everything we needed was provided as described in the listing. Rapid City is a nice town and convenient to the Black Hills sites. We made a trip to Devil's Tower and the Badlands also.

Great location for exploration of the Black Hills areas! Quiet neighborhood. We highly recommend Colonial House, a few blocks away, for breakfast.
King size bed was softer than we liked and could benefit from a sturdier frame.

This precious home is clean and quiet. It is located close to all area attractions and 20 minutes from the airport. We really enjoyed our time here!

Rental home ideally located in a quiet neighborhood close to tourist attractions of SD (Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park). Clean and well maintained. It was spacious for 2 adults and a 9yr old. Had all the amenities needed for a relaxing home base after a day out. We didn't cook but appreciated the dining table for our takeouts. Primary bedroom was a king bed with lots of fluffy pillows. Second bedroom had a trundle bed. Bathroom lacked space for putting down personal toiletries. However, each bedroom had a mirror, so skincare/ makeup routine were done in the bedroom.
All in all it was a perfect spot for visiting the national parks in SD.

Great little house with many extras - paper towels, kitchen staples, bathroom soaps and good towels. Great washer and dryer in basement. Property manager very responsive when problems with air conditioning happened. A few maintenance issues noted but did not detract from our enjoyable stay. King mattress in master bedroom way too soft for comfort. House close to downtown restaurants and easy access to all Black Hills attractions.

The house was nice, well cared for and tastefully decorated. It matched the other homes in the neighborhood with its size. It was perfect for my husband & I. The location was also close to our son and his family & downtown Rapid City.

Perfect for a couple with kids. There is only one bathroom but that's easy enough to work around. The owner, Dan is a great communicator and quick to reply.
The home is one of the few B&B homes we've stayed were every essential is provided, including paper plates, plastic cups, zip lock bags of all sizes, combo Kcups and regular coffee. There are pots and pans, regular cutlery, utensils, a BBQ grill for outdoor grilling(works great- propane). Corkscrew, great knife selection, super sharp. Extra trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels, plenty of dish towels, bath towels, wash cloths. Ironing board, iron, hair dryer, washer, dryer, vacuum cleaner, HVAC central system, portable fan, full size refrigerator.
We bought half and half, butter eggs and English muffins for breakfast and cooked on the grill one evening. You'll love the house, quiet neighborhood, close to restaurants, 45-60 minutes to most attractions. Visit Devils Tower about 2 hours to Wyoming and leave about 3 hours for The Badlands loop. Enjoy!

The stay was nice and close enough for a short drive to Mount Rushmore.

Excellent stay in this house at every level. Owner responds quickly, the house was very easy to enter, fully stocked kitchen for cooking, baking and grilling on the back deck. Plenty of spices/seasonings and utensils included. Comfortable furniture, mattresses, basement with washer/dryer and everything worked perfectly. Just a lovely and relaxing stay for 7 days.

This house --gave us room to spread out, relax for eat-in meals-- grocery close. Unit in quiet neighborhood and had easy access to highways for sites, downtown, trails. Restaurants close. Bed comfortable after long days of sites and trekking.
Dan responded quickly to questions. Appreciated the Kurig- combination pot and K-cup machine. It allowed us to fill our thermos for day trips and still use K-cup for individual cups before heading out.

This home was just perfect for us to have a home base for all the tourist travel we did. The home was clean, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed. I highly recommend. 25 minutes from Mt. Rushmore in a quiet neighborhood. Close to groceries and downtown area, too.

This property was lovely. It was in what seemed to be a busy neighborhood but was very peaceful and quiet. The house was as pictured and describe. The kitchen was stocked with everything one might need, the furniture was comfortable, there were lamps for coziness, and the bedrooms were inviting after a long day.
We were in town for a wedding and the location was perfect. It wa close to shopping, close to downtown, and very easy to get to the ceremony which was just past Mt. Rushmore.
The washer/dryer was in the unfinished basement, but the basement was very clean and nothing in the way of getting to the laundry. There wasn’t even a cobweb in sight down there!
This property is highly recommended & we will seek this house again when we return to RC for our next adventure!

This was our 1st time using VRBO, so there was some apprehension but all went very well. We used this location as a satellite point to Rushmore, Custer S.P. Wind and Jewel Cave. We also went to Devil's Tower (2 hrs away), ate at Uncle Louie's in Sundance (highly recommend) then swung through Deadwood, Sturgis and Full Throttle Saloon. We were very happy with the accommodations and felt very safe in the neighborhood. They had basic supplies in the house that I did not know would be there- coffee, k-cups, sugar, full kitchen but no pots and pans. The other couple with used the washer and dryer in the basement and we gave them the primary bedroom. My husband and I slept in the smaller room- he on the trundle and I in the daybed. It was tight in that room, but we made it work. In the evenings, I would sit out on the deck and enjoy the quiet neighborhood. The lock to get in was a challenge- use the code to both lock and unlock the door and the hand rail going up to the deck needs to be tightened. I would recommend it to anyone but they need know that it is not overly large but it was cheaper than staying in a hotel for 4 nights. If you had kids, they could play out front, in back or in the basement.

Cute little house in a nice quiet neighborhood. House appears to have had a recent refresh and it has central air conditioning which I believe is kind of rare for homes in this area. Internet connection was strong and we were able to stream to the large TV in the living room. Water pressure was good. There is a new looking washer and dryer in the basement. The kitchen has a combination drip and K-cup coffee maker. A short drive to the nearest grocery store. I would highly recommend this gem.
