I was nervous about staying after reading some other reviews. I booked the suite and was shocked to see how large it was! It was two rooms(I think they used to be adjoining regular rooms)!! One was the living room area and the other the bedrooms. Bathrooms and tvs in both. These aren’t pet friendly! So don’t book this one if you have a pet. There was a sliding door in each room also. There’s some things that need improvement like the vents need to be cleaned (some debris was on the bed from one) and the pool isn’t heated like it says, and the hot tub is bath water warm, but for the price, I was pretty happy. The beds were comfy, we even had family hang out for a few hours and they fell asleep on the bed for several hours (was only supposed to be 30 mins). There’s a restaurant attached that opens at 5pm with great reviews too, I just didn’t get to go! It’s not the best area, but I had no problem. I saw some other reviews mentioned they weren’t comfortable. I was fine even walking my dog after midnight.

The band was fantastic! Had a great time dancing

Wish we'd known about the hotel layout. Half the rooms are inside, facing the "atrium" where the pool is. It's a fine space, but nearly 0 natural light gets anywhere near the room all day, which felt a bit unsettling over time. It was a good price and we might have gone ahead anyway but would have preferred to know.
Two lightbulbs in our room were burnt out and maintenance wasn't available that day, so that contributed to it feeling dark. (We were offered to move rooms and the lady at the front desk was very kind and apologetic, we had just already loaded in and didn't want to go through the switch just for lightbulbs)
Hot breakfast with meat and egg options through their restaurant was much appreciated. pretty good biscuits too. The hotels.com photos seemed to imply a wafflemaker option, which was not present. Overall this was better but again, just would be nice to know.
The room was fine cleanliness wise, no complaints there.
The hot tub and pool were both clean and lovely, pool was cool and refreshing, and I probably could have gotten someone to take off the dividing rope if I'd wanted to do laps of the length of it. This hotel doesn't have a clothesline or other convenient place to dry swimsuits once back in the room, but I made do with the shower curtain rod and you might be able to borrow extra towels.

I enjoyed my stay here. The Staff were friendly and personable. The breakfast was good. Plenty of food options around this hotel.

Started off great. Friendly pleasant young lady at the front desk. Continued with a room that had been updated with quartz(?) countertops and what appeared to be new furniture and carpet. Mattress was uncomfortable so maybe not new? Only problem was exterior door to get into rooms in the interior area by the pool could not be opened with room key. Had to walk all the way around to the front to get in, which was tough with pets and disabled. Yes, pet friendly! Decent breakfast selections but cold so fortunately a microwave in the room. Would stay here again.

Hotel was very dirty, kids loud through the night, exterior doors slamming through the night. Would not go back.

The photos online don’t do this property justice. It was beautiful inside and out. The room we stayed in had a sliding door that led directly out to the pool area and everything inside of the hotel seem to be connected through just a circle. Very quiet hotel but kid friendly. Our boys found some friends to play with and everybody had fun. they also had breakfast in the restaurant that’s attached to the hotel. Friendly staff and everything else that we needed to get done was with almost within walking distance of the hotel so that was extremely convenient. If we’re back in Murfreesboro we will definitely be staying here again hopefully for longer.

When we first got there and checked into our room, the room was hot I mean really hot. They knew we where coming it has been reserved for a week in advanced. The pool and hot tub both looked dirty not to mention the hot tub didn't even work it was just standing hot water nothing special. You had to call to get towels brought to the pool area cause there was never any there. Not even busy to be out of towels. The whole time it rained and the rain water was backing up into the pipes and coming out into the pool area. They had a big area to serve breakfast but instead you had to walk into the bar area connected to it to eat breakfast.

One of the criteria I used to decide on this property was its advertised pool and hot tub. I even called to confirm that the hot tub was in working order prior to booking my stay. However, when I arrived, I learned that it was not, in fact, functional and then it would not be so for some time.
There were other disappointments as well, such as the poor quality of the breakfast, and poor service from the staff.
On the whole, I wish I’d made a different choice.

Not bad for the money. I’ll check there late at night. It felt a little sketchy at first, but you get what you pay for. If you’re looking for somewhere quick to your head, this is the place. I would recommend getting an inside room. The free breakfast was just that free. The food looked gray so I opted out and got a cup of coffee. After one sip, I realized it may not be a good idea to drink the coffee either. Room and bathroom were extremely clean. There was a light moldy mildew odor in the room, however, it wasn’t extremely overwhelming.

Hot tub was broke, pool was overfull/noisy/loud, no elevator and stairway by my room was closed..had to walk around the entire property to get to my room, with heavy bags. Staff were extremely rude. Please put in bold print before submitting reservation that there is a hold on your CC too.I did not see this and was rudely made aware of it. Will not stay here again.

When I checked in I mentioned I may need to leave a day early. The person working the counter said they needed to speak with the manager. Two days before my check out date I again asked about my early check out. And was told I had to go through Expedia. No only was am I charged for the day I did not sty .I was also charged another $72 for some reason.. very unprofessional.

I have stayed here before with no issues...but not this time. I booked an outer room, which is much safer than an interior room, but was told the room had already been given to another party. I was put into an interior room by the pool. I left my room to briefly go to my vehicle. The room was locked, but someone broke in and stole my toiletry bag. It cost me nearly $60 to replace the essentials and my blood pressure medication was in there, as well. Also, be prepared to give $100, upon arrival, in cash. The money will be returned upon checkout. During this time the area was going through a heatwave. My room was set at 74F on the heat setting. The hallways are not air conditioned. No central air. Book at your own risk!

Great stay with excellent service and atmosphere rooms were immaculate, clean, and very comfortable. The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay

TV in the room is half blue and the screen is messed up. Remotes don't work even though we asked for replacement batteries and a new remote. Pool area was incredibly loud and the staff did not enforce quite time or enforce rules for behavior of kids. Druggie next door to us continually knocked on our door offering drugs, talking nonsense and excessively loud. Around 1 am chairs were being thrown at our door and window to our room. When we looked out, the manager on staff was waving us away and did nothing to ensure the guy was leaving. Roaches crawling in the bathroom and the fridge didn't work properly.

My daughter made the reservation. It was time she notified you that we had a service dog. Unfortunately, at check-in the clerk failed to check with you regarding the service dog and added a $20 fee. My daughter was handling the check-in but was unable to talk the clerk out of the $20 service dog fee. As such, I showed the clerk the service dog registration but she still refused to reduce the $20 fee. I advise her. I was going to dispute the fee and walked out. She refused to issue the $20 refund. My daughter then called hotels.com who refuse to do anything. Obviously, when I get back tomorrow, I will notify my bank to dispute the matter. Hopefully you can simply get us a credit for the entire amount based on the fact that we did not stay at the Clarion.any questions feel free to call me 708-524-7915. Thank you in advance John hembling

The interior of the room was ok. That was the only thing redeeming about this hotel. There is an indoor courtyard with dated flooring and a small worn down pool and a hot tub with no jets. It was well over 100 degrees in the courtyard because the interior facing room’s exhaust their AC into the courtyard. There seems to be no AC or other effort to combat the exhaust.
The inner balcony walkway around the courtyard facing entrances to the rooms seems to be sloping. There was dirt and trash on the balcony that was not picked up during our 3 night stay.
The entrances to the hotel required a key card. That was good, but some of them did not work. One door handle had obviously been ripped off and bolted back on. The exterior of the hotel was dirty and there were roaches and cigarette butts all over the place. There seemed to be several people living in the hotel full time. There were lots of local license plates on vehicles parked around the hotel.
The hotel has a lounge that looks dated. In the mornings the lounge was the location of a free breakfast which was guarded at the entrance by a man who’s job was to control the YouTube streaming and check room numbers of the partakes of the meal. The meal consisted of some gravy, steamed overcooked biscuits, and some other seemingly reheated foods. The man at the door also ensured no one left the room with any food.
Overall, I realized I should have checked some other review sites before booking the hotel.
