Amazing!! Friendly staff

First time in New Orleans, great location! Very nice people and great service. Some of the rooms are small, but you’re here to explore! Highly recommended!

Amazing stay n the French Quarter. Excellent location. Short walk to many sights.

The room we had was called "Petite King." The room was too small, no seating, and barely navigable. There are only two elevators and our room was too far away from them. The best news is that the hotel is in the French Quarter.

I really enjoy my stay however I would not recommend the first floor due to noise from people on Bourbon street and people were just standing/sitting outside of our window talking.

Our stay was so good. Really nice nostalgic hotel with beautiful decor and gorgeous pool area. Everyone was so kind and helpful from the busboys to the cleaning crew.

We couldn’t even get to the hotel. Roads were closed.

The water situation really clouded our experience - not being able to get a decent shower in the whole time. The room was decent but a little dirty (especially in bathroom). Comfortable, good service, and right in the heart of the French Quarter. I wouldn't choose this hotel because of the hot water situation.

Absolutely amazing! We had the most comfortable stay here we’ve ever had in New Orleans! The staff is great and the room was top notch.

It was a beautiful place a lot of history and the location could not be Beat. The pool was nice when you walked out of your room you were on bourbon Street.

The hotel is in a central French Quarter location and rooms are quiet even though the hotel is on Bourbon St. Nice lobby and nice, clean rooms. The shower didn't have hot water. After a while it got quite warm but never hot. There was no housekeeping. And when my 90-year-old mother needed an extra hour to check out, they charged her $70. There is also a $20/night resort fee that is taken at the hotel and not disclosed in the pricing.

Room had cracked window and broken wooden blind! Huge exhaust fan outside near window which ran 24/7! No hskp one day cause they said I put sign out do not disturb(never used that sign entire stay! Shower drain slow for 45 min! Didnt get clean towels one 24 hr period! Front desk person rude when I called and complained!
$20 coffee chg! ( I dont drink coffee! Kuereg in room

Was amazing! Walking distance to everything. The only thing I would say is that there was only 1 towel and 1 hand towel provided. There was 2 of us.

The lobby, staff, and check-in process of the hotel made us feel so welcome on or quick 2 day trip. The heated pool was closed which was disappointing since it doesn’t mention that on the site so we had no idea until check-in. Then we entered our room; settling in, our “first” room was dirty not just dirty but not cleaned from previous guests, after clearing that up we get a “new” room. While waiting for our new room we watched the cleaner come for the previous room (2 doors down) she was in and out in less than 20 minutes and never even changed the comforter, which was a little discomforting. Let’s just say these room are small which was fine because we didn’t plan on spending much time there. When we settled in we started to see how the cleanliness fell short of what we expected. Hair in shower, the soaps on wall were empty but we were able to get some the next day, some kind of liquid spilled on the baseboard where the small trash can is in the sleeping area, the doors looked like they haven’t been wiped down in years around the handles were black, the ac/heat didn’t work we set it at 74 and it got down to 69 tried to turn on the heat and it went down to 67 we finally just shut it off to feel comfortable in the room.

Check in clerk didn’t know how to use the credit card machine and it took her over 10 minutes and a dozen swipes of my credit card. My ground floor room was supposed to open to the pool but the door was blocked with patio furniture and pool was closed.

Room was fine. I had requested early check in months ago but it didn’t happen. The ladies at the desk seemed distracted.
Bartender Philip was great. Breakfast was good. Location was excellent.

The location of the hotel was great! Staff were wonderful and very helpful. We were on the sixth floor and the shower pressure was terrible. Rooms are a bit small.

Living in the UK, visiting New Orleans was a bucket list event so I took my time in choosing the hotel for my stay. Overall, I am very happy with my selection. This isa great hotel in a great location at the heart of the French Quarter off Bourbon Street. Given the hustle and bustle of that street, it is surprisingly quiet. Good size rooms with high quality furnishings and bathrooms. The in-house bar has live music every night and it is a good place to hang out. We actually invited friends for drinks because it is better than most of the venues in the area. The only negative is the very hefty $20 per night surcharge on the hotel room. Not sure this offers any value and is a bit of a shock as it wasn't mentioned in the booking.

Wow, amazing place. This will be our go to hotel as we hit New Orleans twice a year.

We loved the location of the hotel, its right in the middle of everything. Jackson square, french market, bourbon street and public transportation (street cars and buses) were all just a short walk away

Nice location in the Quarter. Helpful staff and concierge. Only one type of pillow and way too thick! My neck is still sore.
Long walk to our room as only one elevator. Destination fee was a surprise!

Hotel is in a great location between Bourbon street and Royal street. Right next to everything! Had a perfect stay. Staff was so great!

Wonderful staff, especially the man at the front door, and the gals at the front desk. Room was clean, comfortable and we loved the location. Thank you

Excellent location, easy to walk to Cafe Deumond and Pirates Alley Cafe bar, friendly staff. We had a balcony view that offered such a classic view of the Jackson square church and French Quarter, plus great people watching . Bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper because you can hear the very loud, Bourbon Street music till 4am which is expected in New Orleans. Free coffee available daily but it wasn’t consistent as to where to get it, sometimes it was at the bar and sometimes we had to go to the restaurant. Very nice door men, helpful with all questions and getting transportation. We loved the spa water available for guests in the lobby. Our only complaint was the housekeeping services, we often had to go find our own towels, toilet paper etc because our room was not serviced. When we called to front desk to report the issue at 2pm they said housekeeping left for the day.
Overall a great stay, Will definitely stay there again.

The staff was professional, friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and the mattress was extremely comfortable. The towels were very soft and luxurious. I appreciated the water left in our room daily.
The only minus was that the shower gel needed replacement and I had to ask 3 times before it was done. But this was not a huge issue.

A lovely hotel in a great location for visiting the French Quarter. It is really good but the rooms are small and with a couple of large suitcases we struggled to find space for everything. Bedside table and light were only 1 side of bed.

Great. Staff cool. Room great. Quiet. Right where the action is. Safe at all times. Will be back. Thank you.

It was such a wonderful stay with my partner and I. We stayed for a day but everyone was very accommodating and the hospitality was wonderful. I love the interior and how much the place represents New Orleans, very old fashioned old New Orleans and very vintage. Love it!

It is a quaint hotel, staff very friendly. Our “suit” had a couch. Lol. No side tables and a coffee bar at the end of room. I would have just called it a regular room? But the decor was lovely . It is loud at night. Being so close to bourbon street that was expected

First of all every Hotel in the French Quarters are old and out dated. Bourbon Orleans shows its age but is really taken care of. Room and bathroom was clean, bedding sheets clean. I did have two issues. Toilet stoped working I tried calling front desk but no answer, had to walk downstairs to let them know. Issue was taken care of immediately. Secondly repair guys knocked on my door asked if I will be leaving cause they needed to install shower curtains. I told them I’m checking old tomorrow. Not hotel’s fault but should have instructed installers not to bother guest. Overall a great hotel, great experience. Book it, you’ll enjoy your stay.

The hotel is beautiful and convenient to everything in the Quarter. Everyone on the staff is so friendly and helpful. We won't stay anywhere else!

I’ve stayed Bourbon Orleans many times over the years, so obviously I like it. A big reason: its French Quarter location is the best, the Cathedral on one side, Bourbon Street on the other.
The cleaning staff is very good and flexible. My room was good. Large, not overly furnished (seriously, a desk is a waste of space for most travelers), and with a good sized bathroom. The down side is no electrical outlets near the bed (bring an extension cord) and the bedside stand is an afterthought. No drawer, no shelves, just enough space on top for a lamp, a phone, and the TV remote.
Noise can be an issue. If you like quiet, get a room overlooking the interior courtyard and pool. If there are rooms without adjoining room doors, grab one, as otherwise you will hear everything going on next door, and your neighbors will hear the same.
The actual TV channels have nothing to do with what the TV “guide” claims, but the hotel now offers many HD channels, which was not always the case in this and other French Quarter hotels.
The gym has most of what a hotel gym needs but gets little attention. Even after the manager came up to check out an annoying, incessant beeping from the water machine, nothing was done for a long time. One evening there were 20 bottles of water in the gym, the next morning none. The elliptical machine has the same issues it had last year and the year before.
So there are issues, but not so many to keep me away. Location, location, location.

We have a great time !! The hotel has a very good location and all the personnel are very courteous and helpful!!!

The hotel itself was good as far as the room and staff went. Only issue was we went for breakfast before checkout-they had it set up in the bar which was fine. They were preparing for a tropical storm and I have to say they were good about taking care of their people. However it took an hour to get our food-a waffle which was $20 with no butter and plastic silverware. Couple next to us came in and had their food in 10 minutes. It was cold when it did come with no apologies for how long it took.

Beautiful, historical, centrally located hotel. Walking distance to many great locations. While we did have a few hiccups the first few days of our stay, (missing coffee maker, room not cleaned one day, phone not working) once brought to the managers attention everything was promptly corrected. One thing that happened that was strange, and we were unsure if it was the fault of the hotel or one of the resident ghosts, was, during our first night the motion sensored bathroom fan kept going on and off while we were in bed. When someone walks into the bathroom, the fan turns on and stays on approximately 30 seconds before shutting itself off. During our first night, the fan would go on, stay on anytime between 5 to 30 senconds and then we could hear it click off. The only way to stop the fan before the designated 30 seconds is to manually push a button. We had to get up and shut the bathroom door cause it kept waking us up. Soon after shutting the door we did not hear it go off after that or any of the next few nights we were there. Our last night in the room,, the fan started to go off by itself again and we once again shut the door and it stopped. Anither weird thing in our room was our AC was off and clearly said 'OFF' on the display, when it suddenly came on and started cooling the room. It hadn't done this any other time during our stay. Weird electrical problems or ghosts? We don't know but our weird experiences made for an interesting stay despite the early errors.
