At 10:00pm our smoke detector starting chirping... after my 3rd phone call, they said I could disconnect it and they would make a note of that???it took them until 11:05pm to get somebody up to our room. We had a 3:ooam checkout so we could not get rest. Turns out they had no batteries on site!., I asked if we could change rooms, Front Desk said yes, but we would have to come down to get the keys??? This would mean for us to get dressed and have to wait again for the elevator ride back up due to two of the elevators were out of order..It might not have been so bad if the smoke detector wasn't directly over the headboard..

The silver legacy was terrific, clean friendly and in the best location.

Upon arrival, I was charged a fee I was unaware of because I already paid for our 3 night stay. It did get given back to me at the end of our stay. But be prepared for that fee.
The elevators were very fast, efficient, & clean. Check in & checkout were easy & fast.
The hallway & room smelled like cigarettes even though it was nonsmoking, but it’s a casino so what did I expect?
The bed was the worst part. Bring your own pillow if you can. But the mattress itself was squeaky & lumpy & overall uncomfortable. I left with a sore body just from sleeping on the bed.
The lobby was nice & has a lil place to get food & drinks inside.
Parking wasn’t horrible. It was hard to find parking in the evenings, but not impossible. I had to park on a different floor each night.
I wouldn’t stay here again unless it was my only option. Like, it was fine. Not the best or worst, but fine.

It was a pleasure to have such a beautiful mountain view of Reno.

Everything was good. We came to reno for our Anniversary and the Silver Legacy was a great choice. With so many different things to do between the 3 connected casinos, we barely left the hotel! Great weekend!!
4.1
Great hotel, but the pillows were terrible! No options at all. The resort fees were ridiculously high and Hotels.com does not list those in the website.

Front desk person very friendly and patient.

We very much enjoyed our stay. Very nice hotel/casino facility that’s centrally located. Few minor issues are waiting till 3 pm for check in and or paying for earlier check in on a very slow Wednesday. Also pillows were overstuffed and firm causing a neck ache

We had a great time here. Check in was easy (we used the automated machine). The hotel was clean and we really appreciated the bridge over to the el dorado. Definitely some of the nicest casinos in Reno. We will be back

We were without hot water on our 2nd day for about 4 hrs so we couldnt shower. We stayed in the room until we were able to shower. Front desk couldnt give an ETR and they weren’t apologetic. The front desk people are not very nice.

it was great
4.1
The rooms are clean, with comfortable beds and a nice view of the mountains. The casino is louder and smokier than others we have visited. There are lots of bars and restaurants from which to choose.
4.1
The room was dark, the carpet not clean, would prefer brighter lights, elevators dirty.
4.1
We went for the buffets but they were removed during Covid
4.1
Older hotel
Check in easy
Check out easy
No parking fees
Loooooooong hallways
Parking area seemed unsafe as there were homeless men trying car doors and peeking in windows Don’t leave any valuables visible and lock your car or truck ( definitely do not leave anything in the back of the pickup bed)
Garage had super low ceilings

Only stayed one night. Checkin went smoothly. Did not use the express checkin as you need to have yet another app, which I did not want
Rooms comfortable and clean.
4.1
The hotel room was nice with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was clean and updated. We did notice the grounds of the hotel were pretty dirty. There was a definite lack of cleaning. You could see dirt all of the elevators, escalators, parking garage doors, etc. It is in desperate need of a serious cleaning. I don’t think the parking garage has ever been cleaned or painted. A side note is the Starbucks has closed.
4.1
The room had nice marble and new tile finishes, which looked great. The pillows were way too fat, and not soft and gave me and my hubby each a stiff neck. Ruth's Chris was amazing and very convenient. We were in a no smoking room but I still noticed a faint smell of smoke.

Room comfortable. Check in was assisted by a very helpful woman.

The stay was terrible never got a.c. Working terrible service. We will never stay here again we will stick with peppermill they actually care about guests.
4.1
Quick get away. Easy to call and get questions answered from the hotel. Self check in options for fast service overall a nice last minute booking

Not great

The hotel was clean and beautiful, but I was disappointed in the beds. The bed was so hard and uncomfortable. They seemed like really old mattress. Also for a non smoking floor in the middle of the night you can smell cigarette smoke coming from the cents

Silver legacy added resort fees on that was in fine print on my statement email when I checked in. Said my total bill was $105.00. Then when we checked in, there was a resort fee in addition to the $105.00 for a total of approximately $150.00. I feel like I was scammed and will not be using hotels.com.

I never complaint because I understand things happen, how ever this last visit for us to Reno was not the best experience, they put us on floor #7, we had 2 rooms my brothers room with his wife and his baby 8 month old, in our room we had our son 4 years old. The odor of the rooms was pretty bad, the entire time smelled like cigarette or weed ( marihuana). My brother called couple times to the fron desk but all they did was bringing a machine to clean the odor that at the moment worked by 1 hour later was the same at some point what to bother to call front desk if nothing else was getting done. The people that come over to used the cleaning machine which they did 2 or 3 times they all said that they always get complaint on that floor of the building because rooms that allow smoking are on floor number 6 and all the smoke goes to the next floor which was our floor. My wife and I stayed here before and was great but not the best experience this last time.

Just very hard to check-in, park and get my luggage from parking lot onto two separate elevators (why) and up to the room.
4.1
The check in and check out were frustrating due to the employees almost insisting that we use the kiosk. I’m opposed to using nonhuman ways of interacting. I will ALWAYS use the human option. I noticed at least 15 kiosks that were not being used by people. The first try with the kiosk was frustrating and I think everyone was experiencing the same thing. There was only one agent on duty with 12 people waiting in line. Not the way to start a vacation.

Well, as a hotel it's not that different from other American downtown hotels, just huge, with over 1600 rooms. Good sized room, clean and comfortable, with a fantastic view of the mountains. We arrived early by train and were happy to pay an early check-in charge. Overall the hotel's overly complex pricing methods don't work out any more expensive and seem to be the norm in Downton Reno when there is a casino attached. There are some useful eating options in the casino complex. We enjoyed our stay . There is a beautiful river walk through the centre going out towards Truckee. And of course, the casino.

Needed a place to rest on our road trip. Our stay was quiet and comfortable. I still think for the those that arrive late and are there for a single night, we should not be charged the resort tax. We couldn't take advantage of any of it. And only the sub so/pizza place had food left for us to eat.

So amazing will be coming back

Room was nice n clean but lobby area and bathroom in lobby looked pretty crappy

The resort is always clean. Good food. Rooms are clean.

Hotel is awesome. Loved the three Casinos all connected.
Food choices were awesome. Tons of restaurants and everyone was very helpful. The only problem we had was we like to walk and it kind of felt unsafe in this area.

I’m amazed at the value of Silver Legacy and their reasonable prices. It is a very nice hotel. It’s quite clean and has very comfortable beds! The gaming area is nice and so is the layout for all the dining areas it offers. I will not stay anywhere else while visiting Reno.

It was excellent except the noise. It could be the event that happened on my stay.
4.1
The hotel was nice - dated but mostly clean. Food in the restaurants was good. Parking was difficult. Casino rewards were terrible - after 3 days of gambling did not even have enough credits for a $5 free play. There was a safety evacuation during breakfast that stated we should calmly go to the closest exit and exit the building. Half of the people stayed and there was no one directing people. The announcement said it was real and the security guard outside the building said it was a false alarm. Very confusing and potentially dangerous.

Beautiful hotel! Would absolutely stay again, staff very sweet!

From my room to the lobby and into the dining areas was amazing, friendly atmosphere, plenty of dining opportunities.
Check in and out was quick and pleasant.

I love the silver legacy, have stayed in 4 different hotels in Reno and the silver legacy is worth coming back to.
