I've stayed at this property a few times b/c my business has an event 3xs a year at a location close by and the price is right but there's always something. This time we were placed under a room with at least 3 children running back and forth across the ceiling til 1AM and all had to sleep with headphones in. Last time I couldn't get into the room when I arrived b/c my two employees had checked in ahead of me despite being the person who paid for the room and who's name it was under. I had to wait in the parking lot for 30 mins for them to return from a movie after driving there.
Also the non-smoking rooms still smell like smoke and there's evidence like burns on the tubs that they were formerly smoking rooms. Just manage your expectations with this place. It works for a crash pad but def request an uptairs room.

Very near to the CHO airport and also near to Shenandoah National park. The place is old but clean. Staff is good and helped us.

This is an older property - think 70s motel-style. But it is very clean and the staff are friendly. The sheets are probably from the 70s though - could use an update - towels not far behind. But reasonable price and handy!

The manager told us it would be quieter upstairs, but we stayed downstairs because my wife is disabled.
We heard a little bit of walking overhead, but it wasn't a problem.
Place was nice and clean.

What I didn't like was the noise from the upstairs unit. Every morning I was woken up at 5:30

Room smelled of smoke

Staff was rude when I had to get a new keycard after they deactivated my original. The rooms were old and dirty it also smelled of cigarettes. This hotel was definitely the worst I’ve experienced in Charlottesville and I will never come back here.

This is a simple, no frills, kind of place. The room was very clean and comfortable. Check in was easy and the front desk staff were friendly. There was even a light, continental breakfast provided each morning. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Felt unsafe. Had to call police for activity across the street. They allowed people with no transportation to stay. Housekeeping were very nice.

The place was fine for a one night stay as it was clean. Noisy and rather run down and dated. In need of remodeling and a fresh update.

bed was comfortable, pillows were hard as rocks

Very little in the way of breakfast options, but rooms were convenient, economical, and clean.

Overall fine- wasn't expecting much, just needed a quick spot to sleep for a cheap price, and this made the list. Friendly and helpful service. Location was good for visiting UVA .

My card was charged twice, thankfully the lady on night shift handled this for me. There are burnholes in the comforters, the microwave looked to be from over 40 years ago and would not recommend cooking in it. The drawers were broken, and burn marks on the bathtub. However a brand new sink basin and hot water and pressure were good. I left my phone in the room this last saturday and had to return to pick it up. Arrived, my door was wide open, walked in and a guy was holding my tanning goggles and just looked at me when I walked in, did not even put them down and just looked at me, asked them to leave, and they could not understand me, as I do not speak much spanish. Luckily only needed a place to sleep so I could work doubles but would not recommend.

It was fine for a one night stay, however it was a non-smoking room and some of the bed linens had burn holes from cigarettes that was a bit off-putting.

I really liked the price for this room. It's right off the highway which made getting in and out a breeze. Room was clean and well maintained. For $79 I was more than happy with it.

It looks like the bathroom and sink area had been recently remodeled. Very clean and neat. The room was pleasant. Bed was good. Furnishings were contemporary. AC and TV worked well. It even had a microwave and a small fridge. Nice and quiet in the evenings for a good night’s sleep. I was very pleased. Continental breakfast provided. It was the least expensive motel, and was well worth the money. I stayed alone and felt pretty safe in the area. June 2023.

Only two issues. Toilet loose and sink stopper inoperable. Otherwise room was clean and comfortable.

When we arrived I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of our room. The bathroom looked recently remodeled and everything was spotless. The front staff was friendly and professional. Breakfast was better than expected with hot water for oatmeal, fresh fruit, yogurt and an assortment of breads and bagels. Our microwave and fridge didn't work perfectly but everything important was great. We also enjoyed the nearby Rivanna trail we could walk to from the Econolodge.
