The room we had was basic but had a ensuite To check in was a bit slow with only 2 persons on reception and it was busy. Breakfast was a buffet and was brilliant and tasty Overall a nice stay

Room was of a reasonable standard, clean warm ,but some of the bathroom fittings were showing some age. The water from the cold water tap was cloudy . The staff I encountered were helpful and polite and I rated them very good.

The Norbreck is extremely good value for money. I paid just over £30 for room only for one night. The single room was basic, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was spotlessly clean as were the bed linen and towels. I enjoyed using the swimming pool and spa facilities (£2 extra). The staff are excellent - how they put up with the guests I cannot imagine. There was evidence of re-decoration and maintenance work since I last stayed here. The major problem - noise, and the appalling behaviour of the guests, is not the hotel's fault at all. Gangs of unsupervised children roam the corridors screaming until 2.00 am; shouting drunken guests argue and fight; doors are slammed at all hours of the night with no consideration at all for other people. There would be no point in asking anyone to be quiet as you would just get abuse hurled at you. It was a depressing exhibition of the breakdown of what were once the societal norms that were taken for granted.

Required bath in our room had one BUT couldnt use because no hot water for a shower or bath went to desk inform the staff but noone came was disappointing .Room was dusty i wouldn't recommend

Perfect location for blackpool town centre. If you want a peacefull break Tram links to town centre ljust outside hotel..Very friendly staff Clean. Tidy room. Safe parking Would definitely recconend And willve coming back

Had to wait for rooms to be ready as housekeeping was running late. When we got into the room it was not cleaned properly the cups on the hospitality tray were dirty. Asked for extra pillows and it took them 2 hours to bring them. Bed was uncomfortable. The only good thing I can say is the food we had at the dinner/tea was lovely

This place is very old needs a lot of money spending on it ,rooms are very dated and not the best beds to sleep on ,not enough staff and one lady there was very rude. Dont stay !!! Book else where .

No house keeping. I had to empty my own bins, ask for toilet roll and clean towels at reception. Police attended 3 times in riot vans and guests were smoking drugs out in the sitting area. The whole place was dirty and not worth the amount of money I paid. The lift broke on numerous occasions and our room was on the top floor. It's fair to say I have made a formal complaint as this is not what I wanted for my 12 year old daughter

I've stayed in some bad hotels before because they were cheap, but this advertised itself as being quite decent and didn't live up to it. Queued about 40 minutes to check in. The room clearly hadn't been cleaned properly, there were stains on the floor, marks on the mirror and the teaspoons were sticky. There was a lamp but somehow it was connected to the main light making it pointless because you couldn't turn the main light off and just have the lamp on. Swimming pool advertised on website, but it was closed due to maintenance. Would of been nice to know ahead of booking. Also advertised a gym but the opening and closing times aren't great so didn't get to use it. Air hockey and one other arcade machine were out of order. Wouldn't have minded half of these problems if I was aware of them when booking.

Great for convenience for just sleeping as rooms always clean. Inconvenience of having to walk from the 5th floor up amd down as lift not working having lugage was difficult for a lot of customers

Special call out to Amy who was lovely and helped me. However, the room pictures and property description didn't match either of the 2 rooms I stayed in. Every day the lift in my wing was out at least once when I tried to use it. Worst was when I had to carry my bags down 4 flights to check out. I feel sorry for those carrying theirs up the stairs. Wifi was apparently available in the public areas but I couldn't access it on my laptop so couldn't work while in the hotel. 2 of us waited 20 mins to access the gym/pool this morning despite reception ringing the gym reception to ask for us to be let in. The response when we walked around to the external access was the doors were open. Funny how 2 of us couldn't open them! I understand the price means a certain level of experience but it's the first time I've been disappointed with British service.
