Unfortunately for us the elevator wasn't working and there was no television for the full stay.

Unfortunately, the elevator was not working & I discovered it had not been working for about 2 months. This made getting heavy luggage to the room difficult, particularly for those with health issues. There was no bellhop available before 9 am or after 9 pm.

Don’t be fooled by the photos and rating. This hotel is very old and you can feel it when staying there. The room felt dirty and the bed was very uncomfortable.

Excellent Location in the heart of South Beach with really great customer service! It has neat vibe inside. BUT this hotel needs some updating in a major way. It's an old hotel to start and it's obvious they tried to improve it, but the elevator was down and breakfast was provided by a restaurant nearly a block away. It would have been nice to know this in advance. We had to take 4 flights of steps to our room. Plus, views from our room lacked a lot (looked into other ugly buildings & a back alley). Beds sunk in the middle and pillows were weird. The bathroom was only big enough for 1 person at a time. Room was pretty clean but very humid. If you like unique places with a cool vibe, this place is great!! If you want modern and fancy, this is not your hotel!

It was difficult for me as a person with a disability and limited mobility due to recent surgery, as the elevator was out of order and I had to attempt to climb two flights of stairs.f stairs.

customer service was not up To par from certain staff members. Elevator was broken and staff was not able to help anyone with comfort. No ADA measures in place for members of my party with disabilities

Upon arrival, I was informed my service fee was different from the current. Although my charges ended up being okay, staff was swiping my card without explaining. I elected pay at property but was charged 2 weeks before my check in. Elevator didn’t work. Bathroom sink had a slow drain. Door was super hard to close. Tv volume wasn’t correct AND there was a mysterious circle in the middle of the tv. Looked like an eye looking at us. It looked like a camera VERY uncomfortable feeling for two women in a room!

The most convenient place ever on South Beach! Just steps away from the beach. I loved the lemongress or smell good that airs the hotel, the shampoo, conditioner and body wash is amazing! Also, the free towels and beach chairs were a great perk! I'll be back!

It was a great hotel. We had a good time. The restaurant on the first floor was great. We arrived in the evening and was so tired. We went to the restaurant on the first floor and after we ordered food waiter brought our order less that 10 minutes. It was amazing. Hotel has beach chairs and bikes that you can ask for free. This hotel in a perfect location. Volleyball nets across a street. Beach very close too. People who work there very friendly and helpful. We had a great time.

The experience for the price we had been charged wasn't good at all. First It wasn't clean, floors were really dirty (I'm having pictures to show it) and we even found 2 bottles of oil in the bed behind the head and the mattress. Also we have been receiving extra charge every morning we were there. Those had been cancel at least, but only afther 3 interaction with the staff. We've been told the only parking was with valet at $60 dollars US a night on the street witch we didn't go for since we found at one block away inside safe parking for $20 box a night... Not really recommended. We have proof of everything comment in here. Pictures and vidéos... When it is good, we say it, but when it is not !!!! World travelers.

The service was amazing. If we had a tiny issue at the beginning with the room, it was resolved in about 5minutes and our stay was great. Access to many things really helping to enjoy our stay (bikes, beach towels, beach chairs, etc.)

Dinning options in the hotel were great. I did appreciate the fact that housekeeping staff accommodated needs. What I did not like was that there was an issue with bugs(cockroach) to be exact, that I had to take care of. Also there was an pipe bursting issue with the hotel that prompted them to turn off the entire water supply without any warning and I was lathered in the middle of showering. I had to get out wet and call front desk, all to b told an approximate time the water wld b back on....and then wasn't, and had to wait an additional 20min sudsy in a robe.

My stay at the beacon was not what i expected. My friends and i kept getting locked out of our room due to the keys not working. They switched our rooms and we finally thought that issue was done but nope the same thing happened at the next room. They gave us champagne but that didn’t cut it because we were constantly inconvenienced and then we asked them to clean the room and all they did was bring more towels

The hotel pictures are very deceptive. Everything is old and pained over. None of the cute decor is in the actual lobby. No Queen chair!!!! Our room had much rust in the bathroom and light fixtures in the room. The lamp shades, the curtains and the floors were dirty. The garden is not a garden at all. Upon arrival I called and said I would be there by 11 pm was told no problem. However, there was no one there to greet us. We had to wait 20 mins for someone to walk in to help us. He was nice though. The breakfast is not the food in the pictures it’s very limited and not the best. The hotel is located in a great spot and the Scarface Steps next door was nice to see. Other then that… book at your own risk. I was very disappointed.

The room was very tiny especially the bathroom. Did not like the glass doors for the bathroom. Has no refrigerator in the room. No pool no area to hang out inside the hotel. It’s not a great hotel if you have children.

The breakfast was so mid wish I can say I enjoyed it the area where the Starbucks is show on the website is not there and the beach chair saved us money but are so bad broken rusted , The room was ok the view for us was terrible My family and I made the best of it
