Lovely clean and modern room.
Bed was a little hard for my liking and the shower was a little week but everything else was excellent.

Nice room we had supper in the bar and breakfast in the restaurant the next morning nice stay except the bedroom wasn't warm couldn't adjust the heating reception said they could adjust it manually but it made no difference. The rest of the hotel was warm

It took an ice age to get us checked in. Then, a couple of hours after we'd checked in, a staff member tried to open our room and insert another couple! I mean, honestly. We had checked into a room, why did your software think that room was empty?! An awful experience.

Great location for an overnight before our cruise. The Concierge was beyond exceptional making suree everyone had morning transportation to the port. Definitely would stay again.

We were disappointed as we were given a room for somebody with disabilities as the bathroom was fully fitted with disabled facilities low sink, large high toilet and bath with a seat so we weren’t able to lay back and relax.
We were told at reception that this was a hotels.com decision and you had requested this on the booking..
We have stayed there a number of previous occasions and always booked a standard double room and never been given a room like this.
We were very disappointed in our stay.

Check in was fast and easy. Room keys would not work and had to get them re-programmed (believe others had the same issue). The room is spacious with great hot water & water pressure. We got drinks & food in Leo’s. Service was exceptionally slow. After waiting at a table for about 15 minutes had to ask at the bar for table service. It was still slow our entire visit. Check out by email was easy & convenient.

The hotels reception staff and the room itself was amazing, albeit when using the glass lift, areas of the hotel seriously need cleaning.
As it was a special occasion (hubby's milestone birthday), we'd book to dine in the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill which we were exceptionally disappointed in and certainly WOULDN'T recommend dining in there. Not only had they run out of fillet steak (first quarter of the menu), then we heard they'd run out of sirloin steak when another couple came to order - this is meant to be a steakhouse. The sirloin I was served had been overcooked and was chewy and we would have had a better meal from the other hotels less expensive Bistro or the nearby pub. The waiting staff could also learn how to lay a table and I had to go to three tables to find a full salt cellar ! I don't know how they hold onto this franchise as I certainly wouldn't book to dine at another one? We ate out the second night.

We ordered room service. The hotel manager asked us to pick up food from Bar. He sent my husband back to get his credit card to pay for the food. It can't be charged to our room. Food was cold, no taste.
No air-conditioning in our room. We called twice, no response. We found 2 electric fans in the closet. I think they already know A/C is not working. I asked for a thinner blanket because the room was very warm. They can only give us a bedsheet as blanket!!!!
The room was dark. It has only 2 dim night lights + a small desk lamp. The free standing light as we see in their website photo is missing.
The drinking glasses were not cleaned.

Understaffed. I had some questions and each time I had to wait in line at desk. One time I called from my room and phone rang for over 20 times so I hung up. Then I called back and they said they would call me back in a few mins as they were with a customer.
Room is too dark with every few lights. Concierge who bought up my luggage said he would ask to see if a standing light could be brought in to me and no one called or followed up. Never heard from anyone.

Very disappointing stay. The Pierre-White restaurant was very poor. Dying Ficus trees, dead leaves, missing screens. We sat in full view of reception, disturbed constantly. Not the Ambience i expected.
The pool was dirty, stepps corroded, stainless handrails stained.
Corridor outside room had ceiling tiles falling in. Room a/c didnt eork. A temp fan had a filthy water trough. Bathroom wallpaper coming off, mould on the windows. Really disappointed.

So the positives of our stay:
Our bedroom was very clean and thankfully looked like it have been refurbished recently unlike some other areas of the building.
The staff were pleasant enough.
Alas on to the negatives:
Horrendous smell in the hallway outside our bedroom, thankfully couldn't smell it in the room but really bad outside.
Paid for a room with a spa, most of the facilities aren't actually working, something you don't discover until you get there.
Online check in seemed a good option but you still need to go to the reception who were serving other people (and there was quite a queue) to get the room key so it really didnt save any time at all. And why cant you preregister your car for parking so you can properly check in! That is a crazy process, you have to input in two different places at reception.
I have never ever been anywhere as a hotel resident and not been able to get a drink at the bar at 10:38pm so not ever past closing time. We came back from the cricket to discover we couldnt get anything at all.
Two of three soap dispensers in room didnt have anything in them.
Lots of work right outside the back of property, so what should be nice outside space really wasn't, probably not hotel's fault but no cushions on most of the chairs made it even less inviting!
overall pretty disappointing stay for the cost, not good value, I would stay elsewhere next time.

Had a great stay. Comfortable bed. Overall cleanliness good although there were 2 large cobwebs on the ceiling. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Shower area requires some attention to detail. Good food and cocktails.

After. Long overseas flight, we were exhausted and luckily the front desk gentleman allowed us to check in 2 hours earlier for 10 pounds. Room was lovely.

Another great couple of stays, within a week. We always used to go out for dinner, but not anymore the food in the restaurant is really good. Being a regular cruiser we always start our holiday off here. Excellent customer service. Easy to walk to shops, plenty of places to eat.

Close to cruise port. Walkable to shopping and restaurants. The room we booked was not available due to maintenance so we were given a comparable room and complimentary breakfast the nex5 morning. Pleasant stay.
