Parking Structure is small as Heck and they Charged $40 a Day. There was mold on the Bathroom Ceiling. You can hear the person across the hall talking.

The staff was great, the hotel was clean, and it was in a great location - close to everything.
The procedures at the hotel, not so much. Due to hotel policy, we were not allowed to have early check-in, even though during our three (3) night stay, we only saw five (5) other guests at the hotel (which has 176 rooms).
Along with not being able to check-in early, it was hotel policy that we initial/sign a 2 page document with the hotel rules. I have traveled extensively in my lifetime, and I have never been asked to sign a form such as this. I honestly felt offended, like I was a teenager or something, not knowing how to behave at a hotel.
The coffee shop (which I assume is contracted out to another company), was not open the entire time of our stay. The hotel should contract with a company that is more reliable.
Lastly, the hotel does not offer daily housekeeping. This is understandable. Most hotels do not offer this service any longer. It's not a big deal to most guests. However, the sign explaining this at the front desk, started out with "due to covid". Covid was several years ago. It is not acceptable to still blame things on covid. They need to change the wording on their sign.
Please note that my comments are mainly for the Owners of this property. It does not affect whether I would stay at this hotel in the future. I thought these things needed to be heard, so hopefully a review will do that.

This would have been a lavish building back in the day. The bed was comfortable, the room spacious. There was no coffee stocked, pink mold around the edges of the tub, our socks & feet came away black from walking across the room. Airflow was minimal & the room smelled muggy. No housekeeping whatsoever. That said, we enjoyed our stay in NOLA & will return again. Perhaps we will select a different accommodations.

This hotel was very centrally located to Canal street's eateries and transportation lines. It is also a short walk to Bourbon street and the French Quarter.

It was great. However the elevator stop working 2 days before it was time to leave. The was no breakfast. Luckily it was a Walgreens and CVS 5 to 10 minute walk.

We didn’t know how to park or where the young ladies at the desk were so rude. Explaining things to us said you can’t park until you pay $35.00 to park and than said we have no help if you need help with your luggage you have to do it yourself and they start talking in Spanish or whatever it was. No greeting- No smiles just plan rude. The elevator once we was getting off made this big sound like it wasn’t going to stop it was about 15 seconds before the doors opened, very scary than when we can back they was working on the elevator. Which the floors were dirty as well I told my husband well I chooses this place because of its name. I got two rooms the other night as the Cauthen family which is my cousin I paid for their room as well even they complained, about the service. They also told me I had to paid a $100.00 deposit on both rooms. No one never greeted us or spoke with a hi- hello or how are you doing today not at all. Until in our room the heater wasn’t working I was so cold. I called down the lady was like we don’t have any workers on at this time. I wait to see if the heat will get any better but it didn’t so I called back down to see what we could do a young man answered the phone and was like we don’t have maintenance on but we can put you in another room which was much better am a diabetic I had taken my medicine and needed to eat. When I went down he was much pleasant than the other 2 young ladies he needs to train them please or I can on customer service. She eve

Re: Unsatisfactory Stay at Wyndham New Orleans - Baronne Plaza (November 15-20, 2024)
Dear Customer Service Representative,
I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent stay at the Wyndham hotel located at 201 Baronne Street, New Orleans, LA 70112, from November 15 to November 20, 2024. As a frequent business traveler, I was appalled by the conditions I encountered, which drastically differed from the hotel's online representations.
The following issues made my stay unacceptable:
Cleanliness and Maintenance:
- The floors throughout the hotel were sticky and dirty
- My room had dirty sheets with visible stains
- Walls and ceiling had peeling paint
- The door showed significant water damage
- The coffee machine in my room was dirty
- The ice bucket provided was filthy
- The hallways were poorly lit and appeared unkempt
- Multiple lamps in the room were non-functional, creating inadequate lighting conditions
Service Issues:
- No housekeeping service for stays under three days
- Limited staff availability
- No room service
- Guests required to retrieve towels from the front desk
- No manager on-site to address complaints
- Front desk staff unable to resolve issues
Safety Concerns:
- Dark hallways creating an unsafe environment
- Limited staff presence compromising

Nice hotel a block from Canal and a couple of blocks from Casino and Superdome.

Amazing location, location, location. Everything is either walkable or a cheap Uber ride away. Pro Tip- Eat at Nomaste NOLA on the main floor, it is unreal delicious! Also the breakfast counter is great for a quick bite.

Stayed for a quick weekend trip. Check-in was quick and easy. I pre-paid the parking online. The room I had was on second floor. I had a window. It was a clean spacious room which had all the typical amenities. The shower spout was high which is good for taller people and the water was hot.

AC wasn’t great. Room was humid and had a bad odor. When we changed rooms the room they gave us was still occupied by someone else.

Not so good, room did not have hot water and the refrigerator was inoperable. Also the room didn’t have an outside window. For the price the room was not up to standard.

Check in was a mess and I was very disappointed. I waited while others who came in after me were given priority to check in. This made no sense to me and has left me with a negative opinion of my experience. We also had a bad experience where someone else’s room key opened our door. Thankfully we had the chain attached so they couldn’t come in. The room was fine but nothing to report about. I would choose a different hotel when in NewOrleans based on my experience

Read many reviews saying one horrible thing after another but due to the other hotels being booked or way over priced because of the Taylor Swift concert, our choices were limited. We were pleasantly surprised in the fast & friendly check in, beautiful lobby, clean carpeted hallways, well stocked rooms with plenty of towels, coffee making supplies, bottled waters and comfy beds. Yes the elevator is dark and the air conditioning was arctic cold but other than that, perfect. Even the drop of of luggage was easy and the parking garage close by was cheap, clean & easy in and out. Plus it’s walking distance of the Superdome. We’ll be back!!!!

Nice property. Great location. I thought there was breakfast included but there wasn't. But lots of eateries nearby. Good room. Nothing fancy but clean.

There was no porter, no housekeeping, no valet service. Yet, the price was full. Which means, to me, that they are unwilling to pay a decent wage but are very willing to blame it on 'they just don't want to work'. For all the money they saved on salaries, why are they still charging full price? Sounds like price gouging to me.

Once arriving to the hotel, I was greeted with customer service that was phenomenal. I was informed with my room was I checked my room out there was an old smell to it and I believe it was because the AC was not on, but everything looked good. Only thing IOnce arriving to the hotel, I was greeted with customer service that was phenomenal. I was informed with my room was I checked my room out there was an older smell to it and I believe it was because the AC was not on, but everything looked good. only thing I will Give criticism on once you enter the room the smell of it on a day-to-day basis throughout my stay as well as the toilet had a very strong odor to it, and that was before use. Also I wish there was a microwave in the room.

Beautiful hotel only thing that was disappointing was there was no provision for smokers, you had to stand on the sidewalk at the front of the hotel, not ideal. I don’t expect to smoke in the venue but at least provide a small area where people can sit quietly and have a smoke.

The hotel is nice and clean and staff is wonderful. We were close to everything. The only issue is, the bathroom door wouldn’t shut. The entrance door to your room had a 1 inch gap. Anything could crawl under it but we put a towel there at night when we slept. The pillows are not soft at all. Overall it was a great stay for 4 nights

The website advertised breakfast and there was no breakfast. I even called to be sure and was told yes they’re was breakfast. The lady at front desk tried to say it maybe open but the sign clearly stated it was closed and would not be opening. For the price we paid there most definitely should have been a continental breakfast. I asked for a room with a view and most definitely wasn’t a view. My view was the inside of the hotel. So will never ever book again, because of the dishonesty.

Great for a solo traveler. It's walking distance from canal& bourbon street; for those who need to go to the library during your visit, that's near by as well. The cvs store is across the street which is great. Very clean and the staff were nice.

Located in a good area, is walkable to everything good! 5 minute walk to Canal Street, 10 min walk to and from Bourbon Street, 15 minute walk to Caesars Casino. Hotel had everything you really needed, but would have been nice if the coffee area was open and if they had breakfast available, but there are plenty of options within a 10 minute walk. The staff was very friendly and attentive if we needed anything at all. Very good for the price!

I like that everything was near distance, but the rooms have no view it's only the hallway from the one "window " And the tv have no netflix only the cable channels. I mean it was average we had no room service but we cleaned the room ourselves so we didn't need to order room housekeeping but it is there if you would like to order but 24 hours in advance. Overall average stay good spot if you're just there to sleep but sightsee all day.

Employees were super sweet and welcoming, in between a lot of dining options which was nice, somewhat quiet, walking distance to a lot of places which was convenient, did have an issue with the cleanliness of the bedding, the duvet was covered with a thin blanket so I couldn’t tell but once it unraveled the duvet was a bit gross, it was heavily stained and yellow, also noticed bed sheets were also stained with some sort of ink.

Charles and Ezrai at the front desk were AMAZING! They were helpful and very accommodating. The hotel itself was dirty the common area on the third floor looks like it wasn’t vacuumed or cleaned in a while there was a dead cockroach by the lower 300 rooms and little garbage pieces everywhere. The first room I had was dirty there were remnants of previous guests like crushed chips second room I was in had some sort of pill and lint behind the door. I was moved to a third room with windows and that one was good. Also, only double bed rooms have windows that look outside / natural light. The other rooms have a window but they face inside the building.

Nice basic hotel, nothing over the top.
