The hotel is undergoing renovations. So it’s a little messy. But my room had roaches. I killed 2 of them. My room didn’t have a night stand.

Overwhelming mildew/mold smell as soon as you enter the lobby throughout the hotel. Stains/dirt on furniture and lampshades. Comforter had at least one cigarette burn on it. Sink wouldn’t drain. Hotel was run down and needs updating and overhaul. For $200 per night I was expecting a much cleaner welcoming space.

The people at front desk were really nice and very helpful. Whoever the male was working over night was really lazy didn't wanna do my reservation he told me wait until they come in the morning. Very unprofessional. They whole hotel stinks smell like they have water damage under that carpet that needs to be pulled up. My hotel room gave me the creeps. The smell that was in there was stuck on my clothes and smelled really bad. I had to buy all kinds of candles, carpet fresher and smell goods. They smell so bad it over powered my smell goods. Housekeeping dont know English so u have to go to front desk if u wanted ur room clean because all the words the girl knew was OK. THIS HOTEL IS NOT WORTH THE PRICES THEY ARE ASKING FOR. THEY NEED TO FIX THE WHOLE HOTEL IT HAS WATER DAMAGE

The floors in our hotel room were filthy. My 1 year old was crawling around and next thing we know she has black on her hand, knees and feet. It needs a deep cleaning. I’ve never experienced that before in my life. The outlets were hit or miss. There was some damage here and there that are easy fixes like the toilet seat. Who wants to sit on a toilet seat that does the electric slide when you sit? No crib was a big minus for us. They said they don’t carry them at all. The beds weren’t too comfy and the pillows were way too soft. There was a smell to our room and in the hallway of paint or something of that nature and it was not pleasant. These and other details are all fixable. Now, the staff was impeccable and the food was very good. I heard one customer say that “this gentleman is the best.” He said “I wake up before anyone else at 5:30am and he has a coffee ready for me when I get here.” I can’t speak highly enough about the staff because they took care of us and helped us feel at home.

Every time I need a hotel in the BR area I choose to stay here because they have affordable rates and the rooms are always comfortable and clean. Another thing I appreciated is the fact that i was able to pay cash at the front desk to extend my reservation for another night and I didn’t have to put the deposit on my credit card which I hate because at other hotels it takes 7-10 days to get it back sometimes but they accepted the $30 deposit in cash which is sometimes a little more but it makes things convenient.

The people was nice and friendly, but the hotel was dirty. I saw 2 roaches in my room. The wall in the tub was broken, the room smelt like smoke and the first roo. Smelt like mold.

This place Smelt like mold , the pool had to much chemicals in it water was cloudy, room smelted like mold also .. everything by pool side is rusted paint chipping and lights did not work .. blower dryer broken I did not stay there at all

The room was disgusting. The floors had dirt, hair, and trash everywhere. Stains on the sheets, no blanket just sheets and a thin decorative sheet on top. The carpets in the halls had huge stains, smelled like weed, and the front desk area smelled so strong of mothballs.

The property was more of a convenience as to where we needed to stay. Walking through the doors was a very strong smell of bleach to the point of hurting my throat, as we walked up the steps the smell turned to Marijuana - very disgusting. The room itself appeared to be clean until the lights went on and the carpet was very stained, the bedding was torn and stained, and there were some bugs in the room.

I was very surprised how crappy this hotel was. The reviews were average but also better than some of the more expensive hotels. The room basically looked like they just tidied up instead of actually cleaning it. The shower was dirty and clogged, so was the sink. They didn't have enough towels in the room and after waiting 10 minutes for someone to come to the front desk, they only had 1 extra towel. The only positive I have is that the staff were nice.

Rhe stay was relaxing and very good..staff was very helpful and talkative...we asked if we were able to return after checkout because we got to room late and checked out early, but the littles wanted tonswim..our 15byr old had a camp at LSU so we asked if we could possibly return just to kill the time and not be out in the heat! They said yes which was amazing!! Would recommend this hotel to anyone.also we had a autistic kiddonwith us which we needed a 1st floor room..they exceeded that for us...we thank you so much for the hospitality we recieved!!

The floors were dirty. Trash outside. Hairs on bed. Seems like sheets were not changed. Room was OK. No smokey odor in rooms. Pool water was dirty. Other guests made us feel insecure. The mattress was comfy. Small roach in the bathroom. The bathroom floors had like acid stains.

The room had a cigarette smell, the sheets had stains. I was there for 6 days (was suppose to be 7 but couldn’t stay) they did our bed and brought us clean towels 1 time. I had to o ask for clean towels every time. The pool was so dirty my daughters didn’t want to swim in it. The Jacuzzi was boarded up so not in service. Elevator not in service. I have pictures of most of the place.

The desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Housekeeping is very friendly. The carpet in our room was "crunchy". Unable to walk barefoot to the bathroom. The rooms could stand to be updated. Outlets by the bed were worn out and unable to charge our phones there. Really liked the blackout shades in the room. Breakfast COULD have been great. Constantly out of eggs and sausage. The coffee pot was empty often. Unable to find milk for cereal. I think the same person was cooking and stocking the bar, so it really wasn't her fault. You would think for the price it would be a bit nicer.

Easy to check in. Michelle at front desk is very helpful and super nice, stayed for a long contract at nearby hospital and its a great spot and has good rates.

My expedia reservation could not be found at check in. Desk agent had to call his manager and have her find it. Took about 20 minutes to check in. Get to the room and there was no toilet paper. My husband had to go to the desk for some. Took a shower in the morning to find there where no bath towels, just hand towels and wash cloths. No hair dryer. Very unsatisfied. You expect the basic things at least when you are paying this amount of money to rest your head for the night.
