The pictures that were posted in Hotels.com were not updated. I believe that one time, Exploria was probably quite elaborate however- there have been no updates. We requested a room with a fireplace and a view. The room that we had was much smaller than the pictures made it look. The fireplace did not work, it advertised that there was a stove top to cook on, and there was not. There was a small refrigerator and a microwave so we took food with us to cook and eat. There was no way for us to cook it without a stove top. In addition, it also advertise daily room service. There was no daily room service since it was a timeshare property. This was fine and they offered us to go to a given area between certain hours to exchange our towels. Unfortunately, those hours did not coordinate with the availability in our day. The front desk staff was very friendly. We had a full-size truck. We were not able to park near our room during the first night, but was fortunate that somebody left that we could get a special pass to park in a 10 spot lot. First come first serve area. Although we had a nice time, it likely would not be a place that we would return.

I can not recommend this property enough. The 1 bedroom condo I stayed in was top notch. The kitchen was fully loaded and stocked and the rooms were spacious and very clean. The property was quiet and well maintained and within walking distant to all the attractions on the Parkway. The only drawback was the tight parking in the parking garage but it was worth it to stay in such wonderful accommodations. My husband and I have already booked for next December!

We stayed in a studio on the property. It was mediocre at best. Several of the appliances were broken or didnt work well. It didnt look super clean, and we had multiple stink bugs in the room. This was likely due in part to the door not sealing shut. It was cold outside and you could see light and feel cold air coming through the door. None of this, however, was as frustrating as the parking. Granted, we were visiting at a busy time of year, but both nights we stayed, there were not enough parking spaces avaliable for us in the parking garage. We had to "make do" and park along a wall and hope no one would hit us. This is what the property asked us to do. It was incredily stressful and frusterating that they would charge us what they did and not have enough parking for guests. Finally, on the day of check out, our little one had gotten sick and we wanted to extend our stay an extra day to recover and give her more time to sleep that morning (checkout was at 10, and we had to do a couple of housekeeping tasks for them before leaving). When we asked, they said we'd have to check out at 10, and check back in that afternoon, and the room (Sunday going into Monday) would be $50 more than what we paid for it originally (Fri/Sat on a holiday weekend). That still doesnt make sense to me... Ultimately, we decided to stay at the Glenstone Lodge right next door. The room was nicer, it was $100 cheaper and the staff was friendlier. We will not be coming back to this place in the future

When we booked the room, we had the impression we’re gonna be in the same building close by as registration, but it wasn’t. It was down the road from there and then we thought the room was on one side of the building, but it wasn’t so we end up going on the other side of the building and it was so confusing so we got the room. It wasn’t too bad. First night. It was all right the second night it sucked because the second night a family showed up and they were very loud. We can hear their water running. I guess they must’ve been taking a shower and it was quite loud. We could hear them talk. It was like the walls must be real thin here so I called the front desk to complain. he was no help. He said they’re all like that I guess and he was very rude unprofessional and then I wanted to take a bath in the whirlpool tub and there was black mold coming out of the jets That did not work and I don’t believe it has been clean because there was hair floating .. so that was gross so when I went to return my keys back, the lady was no help she said did you call somebody? It was like 830 at night. I was like no so no I ain’t going back there ever. And I definitely had high expectations for this place. I give it two thumbs down. .. 👎👎 but when we booked our room, we went to pay for it and we already heard a woman complaining and she was just leaving herself and we were just arriving so what does that tell you….

Great place to stay. Easy check in. We met our daughter for a long weekend and stayed together. Had a perfect time. Clean, kitchen was well stocked with glasses and cookware.

They have two buildings; the one building doesn’t have the indoor pool and it’s a downhill walk a little bit if you want to go swimming. The room doesn’t look like it was cleaned prior nothing my Clorox wipes couldn’t get but the point. The door if you didn’t pull it all the way ours wouldn’t close and latch didn’t figure that out till we got back to the room and my daughter opened the door without a key. The slider only locks with a stick at the bottom. Very outdated

Great for the price. Thought I was getting a room and got an entire apartment. The jet tub didn’t work. The elevators are extremely slow; to the point. We thought they were broken at first. Also be aware that this property will try to rope you into a timeshare.

Condo was fairly clean, but older. Hot water in the second bathroom was non-existent. Call front desk and they suggested giving it 20-25 mins before getting in the shower !😳 Master bathroom had hot water as long as you waited 5 mins before getting in. We stayed on 4th floor and the only elevator is on the whole other end of the complex so you had a LONG walk or climb 4 flights of stairs with all your luggage! We drove an extended cab pickup and we’re told we wouldn’t fit in the covered parking so we had were stuck in a small parking lot that barely had enough room to back around in. Not my favorite stay but it worked. We did get to see a bear in our parking lot the first night we arrived so that was a win!

So once checking in the room was nothing like the photos it was late was going to go to bed when I discovered stains and bed bugs on the bed never got an apology from management all they did was move us two rooms down

Great value. A 5 minute walk to the main street in Gatlingburg where everything is. Check-in staff were very freindly and helpful.

I wanna give a 5 star review to one of the employees at the front desk. He was very quick and efficient. He got our room wrong and immediately changed our room to the correct one.

Parking is bad, elevators to hot inside them. Had to ask many questions at check in time. Both pool temperature to cold. Cable service wasn’t the best.

Terrible, filthy, poorly maintained property. They need to demolish the whole thing and rebuild it. Rooms were dusty, carpets and blankets were dirty. showers were broken. we had to go down to the laundry room to exchange towels. no turndown service. will never stay there again. go to Embassy Suites down the road.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay here. The location is great, it was close to the main square and far enough away to be quiet. My wife and I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at this property for labor weekend it was ok but needs some renovations done. You can tell its a older building and its showing its age. If you are a taller person over 6 ft tall dont recommend the showers are very short. While looking fora outlet to plug in phone chargers we did find a syringe needle under the bed called the front desk they sent someone up ASAP. So that tells me they need to clean the rooms alot better. Comfort wise it was ok. Also of your not a sable footed walker beware the walk way are a like wonky as some of the pavers are loose.

We have stayed here twice now. Always enjoy the room with full kitchen and living room. The shower rocks. The beds comfy. Enjoyed the brand new outdoor hot tub and the fire pit. Just wished they stayed open later. We'll stay there again next time we visit Gatlinburg.

As first timers staying here was great. No only were we able to access the trolley , we were able to walk to the downtown district for alcohol fun. The only thing that would have make our stay top notch was if there was a breakfast option available. Being within walking distance we didn't have to competely depend on the trolley to move around. We hope to stay here again for our next stay!

We were very happy with the room and we loved seeing a bear from a safe distance of coarse we will definitely stay there again. Parking spots are really hard to get into

I paid for a room with a balcony view and got a room with a jet tub by the bed and no view. When I called the front desk and told them I paid for the view, I was told that the other half was where the view was but it was already in use and there were no other rooms. I called back and told her that the room was not acceptable, it smelled like stale cigarettes and not what I paid for and ask if she would refund the cost, she agreed without any problems. I gave service 4 stars because she really was helpful without attitude and for that I was really impressed. As far as everything else, I'm actually pretty disappointed because the positive reviews are why I booked it but I believe had we been in the other half it would have met my expectations.

Nice location, short walk to main strip. Room was pretty dated and hotel was having some work done to it. Friendly staff. Many bears running around at night.

When I made this reservation I was under the impression I would be in the resort. When we arrive we are put in a small building separate from the resort. Our room wasn't completely clean the sliding door didn't lock and there was a huge gap under the main door. Definitely was over charged for what we got and will not be rebooking with this location.
