Overall ok but the windows were thin as ice, you can hear absolutely everything going on outside.
Constant banging and voices from the street. The wind noise felt like the windows were actually open.

It was an overnite stay to visit the Christmas markets and shops. It was ok for somewhere to sleep for the nite, bed was clean, bathroom was clean, there were some bin webs and room was a little dated but had a newish bathroom.
It was ok and good value for money. I wouldn’t expect to pay over £60 for a double room for the nite and I felt brekki should have been included

To be honest the hotel hygiene was terrible bedding were full of hair, stained from dirt furniture old and not worth it heating not working properly it was my first nightmare in any hotels I have stated in.
I will never go there again waste of money

we stay at the Trouville twice a year and accept it for what it is, cheap and cheerful, a place to lay your head after a day at the Christmas market.
this time however the breakfast was such a debacle we will not eat there again.
we were told it was buffet, but there were only rather old bacon and eggs in the hot plate.
We asked for extra items and were told it would be 10 minutes. About half an hour later, we asked for it to go, to be told it was nearly ready and they didn't have a box. We got 3 times the food we asked for, inedible mushrooms beans came another 5 minutes later and were cold.
I was dumping the key and not saying anything when the guy on reception, who was involved in the restaurant, asked how our stay was.
he explained they had had a large group in and had only offered them a continental!
there were dirty tables all over the restaurant.

Budget hotel for budget price - what else can you expect
Hotel mostly clean but everything very tired and worn.
I went for a swim in the morning and the lights in the pool were broken so swam in the dark (only a bit of natural light from glass bricks to outside)
Bed as quite hard but i stept quite well.
Didnt have breakfast so cant comment on food.

Nice room, polite, attractive staff, but the pillows were so uncomfortable I couldn't sleep. They are always so hard. Some softer pillows would be nice. Maybe a lady in the room to ease the stress would be nice too :)

Ok stay, lift was broken on one side so had to use one lift to 2nd floor then go up one flight of stairs. Lift did take long time so just walked up 3rd floor. Hotel and room dated. Big room lots of space and big bathroom with corner bath bit dated too. Didn’t have breakfast or use bar or swimming pool so cant review. Manage to get car parking space too. Would stay again

Had a lovely stay at the Trouville hotel, it was clean, neat, all the staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was lovely overall a very enjoyable stay!

Very tired and outdated hotel. Room was very shabby, chipped paint, mismatched wallpaper, paint on the floor by the radiator, old fashioned furniture and bed. Mattress very old and tired- basically fell through to the bed frame when you sat on it. It literally looked like it had been decorated in the 80s and never updated. Room was unclean and you couldn’t take a step without the floor creaking super loudly. Could hear doors slamming all night and creaky floorboards. Nothing like the pictures they advertise. Save yourself the pain and book elsewhere

I didn't like the attitude of the staff they were quite rude and sometimes ignorant. The room was cold no heating at all. The hallway to the room was full of loose carpet and splattered with paint there was a hoover right outside room so the carpet could easily have been hoovered before my arrival. When asking reception a question they were very unhelpful

What a lovely hotel. Definitely need some TLC but the cleanliness and friendly staff made up for it. Looking forward to seeing their progress over the years. We will stay again.

A clean and comfortable hotel right next to the Bournemouth international centre. It is very tired but it is reflected in the price but as I said it was comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful

The front is very good but the back entrance and lift are very scruffy and in need of updating . The room was also a little tatty .

the time we spent August 23 -27 /2024 carpet so dirty, walls have a lot of stains like insects sticking blood, bathroom's fan so loud, and parking for a day 12. there are free area to park outside the hotel. bed sheets a lot of stains . the only good thing the room spacious for family 4 if they clean it and paint the room refreshed that’s old house smells when you enter you feel old house smokes and dampness.

Great for a short stay! Staff were lovely and very helpful. Comfy bed and nice shower. Walls were quite thin so could hear other rooms but other than that a good stay.

When i first entered my room i noriced there weren't any pillows on the bed or anywhere in the room. Also the toilet hadn't been flushed since last use. I mentioned the lack of pillows to the reception staff however it took several reminders and a few hours to actually get some pillows. The toilet when flushed made a loud whining noise for a long time before the cistern was filled. Outside the room was noisy equipment that meant having to keep the window closed on a warm night. The room was very dated and in need of refurbishment. Overall just ok for 1 night but not for any longer.

Basic hotel in a great location in Bournemouth. The pool was really nice and you can see the pool from the camera in the lobby to see if it’s empty or busy. Beds were comfortable and clean but the rest of the room was a bit dated and the bathroom door did not lock.

We stayed for 2 nights during the bank holiday weekend in their best room which was called 'The Malo'. First of all the shower had no pressure whatsoever struggled to have a shower on both days. I booked a executive room with a double bed but got 2 single beds joined together with a gap in the middle & the one mattress shaped like a banana which gave me a backache. The room smelt terrible. The staff were good to be fair. Don't think we will be staying here again especially as we paid a premium price for a well below standard hotel

Stayed there a few times and will always go back
Thank you for making it special 👍👍👍

Difficult to know where to start with my feedback.
I was shocked to find out i was being charged £12/ night for parking.
Their explanation was that it was because if booked through a 3rd party website. £12 was actually £5 p.n. more expensive than the public car park 50 yds away too , which added to the insult.
The lift that was working ( there are two but only one works) , was completely covered in graffiti. The corridors stunk of curry and stale carpets. The carpets were dirty and smelly ; like no one had deep cleaned them in years. The room was tired , the bed had such a slope in the very old mattress, it was like sleeping on a lumpy old pitched roof and was actually difficult to stay in the bed without rolling out.
The manager told me, if I'd have complained, they would have given me a better room or if i come back next year they'll have refurbished it !!! To which i said, well Why rent that room out at all now..i don't need jam tomorrow. There was no info booklet in the room at all. The tv had no terrestrial channels. There was only two tea bags. The phone had no instructions on how to call down. I tried zero, nine and all the usual numbers you'd ecept. The bar staff were slow, no ice. The breakfast room kept drinking out of things that you'd expect to be topped up without keep having to ask. Like plates, milk, eggs , yada yada.
Trying to get in from the car park , there was no key fob so we kept having to buzz reception.
Not a good experience at all.

At check in we were given a key to a room on the 3rd floor. When we opened it we stood at the door in amazement as the room looked as if it had been trashed. The divan bases were on their sides showing torn bases, other items of furniture were thrown about the room and everything was wet. Reception seem mystified by this but we were quickly given a room on 2nd floor. This was very dated and needed a refurb but Not suprised by this. However the mattresses were very uncomfortable having hard ridges, we turned one top to bottom for slight improvement. The shower fitment attached to the wall fell into the bath everytime we used it, the wardrobe doors were only attacahed at the top so swung alarmingly when opened. Poor storage provision. The hot tap leaked. After our traumatic experience when opened the first room allocated we just put up with everything and spent as little time there as possible. I would never stay there again and would not recommend anyone else to do so.

The staff were excellent, the property needs a bit of work doing - updating really. All very clean, our bathroom was very clean but had a few jobs that have been fixed in the past at a very poor standard.

Our stay it was alright.
We had a double bad and an extra bed for our little one. The staff it was very nice and helpfull in anything what we needed. We had English Breakfast wich it was very handy because with a child it is hard with the food when you are traveling.
The rooms need some attentions and upgrade. The water in the pool it was cold but the temperature in the pool it was warm and the sauna worked alright, need some time until it reach the temperature but it is ok. Most definitely when we are coming to Bournemouth will come again.

The hotel is very dated,no air conditioning, so the room was like a sauna, curtains were falling off the pole, paper cups and wooden sticks for tea and coffee, there was rubbish left under the dressing table and a coffee lid sticking out from under the bed. The staff were very friendly and helpful, just needs a good update
