M very good place to stay….

The room had no air flow and it was so hot. Even with the window open The room was so stuffy it made it almost impossible to sleep.
3.3
Last minute stay.
Been updated slightly down stairs which is welcoming
Room had been painted and freshened fairly recently but literally painted over cracks and bumps etc.
One bedside cabinet missing as mark left where it was.
Bed was extremely uncomfortable, you could feel every spring and back now suffering. I told receptionist who smiled and said oh really. Couldn’t give a dam
Would only use again if no where else to stay and I phone ahead to ask about beds lol

Good hotel, friendly and helpful staff, clean room, common areas also very clean. I will definitely be back.
3.3
Our stay was good.
3.3
It was very clean and nicely decorated.
3.3
This hotel is not to bad. It’s near the beach, only thing is you have to pay for wifi in your room!
3.3
Great location of hotel for town centre or walk along front to pier. Although rooms a little dated they were clean. Bathroom tap shower didn't have the greatest of pressure but hot & quick to get to temperature. Buffet breakfast was good & hot with reasonable selection of continental. Fantastic price for area & what you got, will be back!
3.3
Location & very helpful staff.
3.3
Horrible
3.3
I paid a huge amount for two nights in a single room which was smaller than a broom cupboard and directly next to the lifts. One small window and very claustrophobic !
3.3
we had such a lovely stay the hotel was first class
we will be booking again and hopefully for a longer stay
3.3
Only one thing that puts us off. Noice and exhaust that is coming through the window.
3.3
Perfect for short break. Near to all amenities
3.3
A reasonable place to stay close to the beach 🏝️
Reception: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
warm welcome by the reception and helped with initial check in and change of room due to musty smell in the room
Room: ⭐️⭐️
Very specious. Quite old fittings & fixtures. Very out dated, needs to refreshed. Bathroom was cleaned but very old fittings and not fully functional shower .
Comfort: ⭐️
No temperature control at the hotel. Had sleepless night due to heat .
Amenities : ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Tea, Coffee , iron and hair dryer supplied. Well done 👍
Location : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Walking 🚶♂️ 5 - 10 minutes to the beach and other local attractions close by too.
Parking cost £5 per night and front & rear space available.
Overall a good and economic place to stay but they could’ve done much better than that.
3.3
The room was too hot and there weren’t enough air flow and AC or fan doesn’t exist at all
3.3
Staff were very nice but the hotel charges for everything such as parking and WiFi. There's a migrant hotel nearby with young men milling about playing music from their phones which was disconcerting.
3.3
Very polite and helpful staff, enjoyable stay.
3.3
The bed was awful didn't get much sleep spriggs were broken , the pillows were too ferm and hard . no floor mat for the shower dangerous and slipy when exerting the bath/shower.. And had too pay £5 for overnight parking not impressed .. wouldn't recommend this hotel
3.3
Old fashion but clean enough for short use
3.3
It met with my requirement
3.3
Great experience!
3.3
Smell of weed on the room floors
Terrible noise issues
Fire alarms - false alarms in the early hours
3.3
This property is really convenient for visiting bournemouth beach and local amenities.. with two was down either stick to the main road down the hill or take the amazing a scenic coast path down the cliff side.. call west cliff zig zag. The photo opportunities are great!
The place was good value, 24 hour reception, clean, and pleasant staff, . Although i found the mattress uncomfortable.. yet my partner slept like a log!
At the end of the day it worked as a base for us!
3.3
Not the hotels fault but around 2 to 3am a lot of noise and doors slamming along the corridor where my room was I think it was night workers returning from their shifts
3.3
Hand sink needs replacing. Menu's was poor. Only 3 items for dinner. Floor boards were noise woken up during the night with noise.
3.3
Right by the beach so really accessible.
3.3
Okay for the price.
But feels dated. The carpets smell a bit musty with age.
Key cards to our room didn’t work couple of times. And water from the shower pressure was non existent!
3.3
poor hotel, needs refurbishment or some basic maintenance, shower very poor to non existence
3.3
Very expensive for what you get, vey dated Hotel, our room on the second floor was vey cramped, small double bed, which was hard, paper hanging off the walls and mould around the window, Bath had rust all around it and not vey clean, shower was just a trickle.. overall very unsatisfactory, will not be staying here again!
3.3
Really enjoyable stay. Only the 2nd time with my son staying here . But will definitely be back
3.3
Overall good
3.3
The television speaker was faulty and would cut in and out, the water took nearly 10 minutes of running the tap before the water came through clear, no option to heat the room besides a plug in heater with no sockets near the bed, carpet was trashed from iron burns, the mirror wasn’t above the sink so you have to lean over the toilet to shave and no extractor fan in bathroom
3.3
Typical Britannia hotel dated to warm and lovely long bath
And cheap , staff we very efficient and didn’t speak good English but used to this now
3.3
Great staff lovely place to stay
3.3
Staff are polite and friendly
3.3
I was given a single room at the top floor and it was very cold. I complained and they transferred me to a double room on the bottom floor which was very warm. I was happy.
3.3
The staff were really nice and helpful, my room needs to be refurbished its stuck in the 80s, i wouldnt stay there again, its cheap to stay there
3.3
I thought staff a reception could be more helpful and happier. And the bar could stay open a little Later.
