Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast provided a variety of choices. The setting in downtown Winston-Salem was perfect for my needs: close to several of the venues hosting plays for the Black Theater Festival and close to shopping and restaurants.
There was actually nothing I could complain about.

The overall stay was great . I just wished they had a inside pool. The bed was so comfortable literally my favorite spot . I didn't get to check out the exercise room because I was in love with the bed . And the breakfast was greatttt I love those waffles lol been looking for that brand since I got home. Definitely will be returning

The staff was great and the room was big. Bathroom was clean and big also. Breakfast was good.
Didn't like the fact that we had to park in a parking garage and pay $10.00 a day to park and was not informed of this ahead of stay. Right beside the interstate and traffic noise was bad. Heard sirens 4 or times during the night. Not conducive to sleeping.

Timeliness of addressing issues was good. Breakfast was great. Staff was very friendly including breakfast and cleaning staff.
There was a smell of smoke in the hallway after returning from an event on Saturday and Sunday morning.

Convenience to the event I was attending.
That incidental fees are not disclosed until after booking when you arrive. The bathroom sink on the inside was disgusting with black mold or something in it. The corners of the wall had Cobb webs. That’s a red flag that the room is not cleaned well. I brought my own disinfectant spray and wipes.

Location could have been better
The location of the Inn and the location for the parking. Didn't feel all that comfortable.

For our needs, an excellent location within walking distance of the city. Excellent front desk staff, great breakfast and great service
Parking off-site was a bit to deal with and of course an additional charge.

it was clean but I did not get to experience it.
They stated they overbooked (people were still checking in after me) and sent me to another hotel the Hawthorne, which was outdated, dirty tub, and only bagels and muffins for breakfast. I chose the Fairfield for a reason and their alternative was the exact reason I choose certain hotels.
