Dated, the hotel had no bar of soap cause they ran out last week and no staff here at night … weird

Didn’t like this hotel, swimming charges more than you think, you are not allowed to walk in the backyard without paying for swimming pool.
4.2
Extremely nice personnel, clean rooms. A bit weared condition of the hotel, but it has a character. Great option if you need a quiet and private hideout.
4.2
The spa was great, and the atmosphere was great and relaxing

There was a fee of $70 a couple to use the pool and grounds

Would need a deep cleaning of carpets in the hallways and an update in furniture and would benefit in the painting f the rooms and hallways. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

I got a good deal on Expedia but i thought the hot tubs outside were included, we had to pay an extra $80 for the baths , i think it should be included in the price!

not what was advertised,,,deposit required more than than room charge,,,room in basement, all ammenities showed are all extra $$$ -no foods allowed even if you are on special diet and special meals. we requested refund as not staying and was refer to expedia for refund, no business card available to contact owner,,, receptionnist seem to have no ideas on anythings except run credit card on terminal,,, Left message to get contacted but nothings so far,,,,so i must assume got rip off of full charge....this is a money grab establissement.

Great experience . The place is very good

Holes in the towels and sheets. Silence is not at all reinforced, so you have to let it go.
Staff was lovely. Outdoor facilities were nice. Some pools will seriously damage your bathing suit.

It’s a shame that they do not take better care of the property, everywhere you looked something was broken or about to break. Very quiet site and could be very peaceful but organisation of the work that needs to be done destroys it. The hot pools where still getting filled up when site was open, making 1 of them cool instead of hot, they came and clean a quiet area while we where in it. They are trying to improve the place, but too little effort and investment. Not worth it for the price

The hotel could not find my reservation at my arrival. They didn't honor it even that I showed them the Orbitz confirmation email.
I had to pay for the same room for much more.
The communication with Orbitz took me over an hour and half.
The whole experience was stressful and disappointing.

We booked in this hotel for three days. We arrived at 3pm at the L'Oasis de l'Île, Refuge Urbain, and check-in wasn't till 4pm (though the room was ready). I informed the front desk that we had been driving for 7 hours, and if the room was ready, could we possibly check in early. They told us it would cost CAD 20/hour if we wanted to check in early. It was a bit of a struggle to get checked in, and finally, after 30 minutes, they said ok. When we got our keys, the front desk informed us that the room would be in the basement because we paid the standard rate (economical). The window in the room is on the same level as the ground, making the room dark and claustrophobic, which isn't on the website. The biggest disappointment was when we discovered the restaurant would close from Sunday at 3 pm and reopen on Wednesday.
We decided to check out the next day since one of the perks was the restaurant. It's a hotel; they should at least keep the restaurant open.

The hotel restaurant was closed most of the week which would have been nice to know earlier.
Someone was also smoking in their bedroom next to the room I booked. The hotel staff was alerted. Not the best experience.

The spa was wonderful! However, the tolerance for noise was strict...
4.2
A very quiet place, if you want to relax, it is the perfect place. No noise and a lot of spaces.

The property is located in a beautiful island, the building and spa have its charm and it is picturesque.
They already have all the facilities to succeed. What is missing is customer service.
Lack of information while on check in. Staff assumes we know the hotel ant have been here 30 times before. For instance the spa closes at 9 pm and it is the main attraction of the hotel, but the restaurant close at 8 pm, we get out of the spa and had to go to bed hungry! Nobody told us that the resto closes 1 hour before the spa!
If you promote yourself as a "Health Spa", it is not a good idea to let your customers sleep hungry.
When we asked about options for food the staff just told us "just get uber eats". Mmnnnkay
There is a small keurig coffee maker in the room with two K-cups in the first night, I asked the attendand for one extra coffee, she hesitated but gave it to me. Next morning they brought breakfast to the room without a coffee pot, so I said "we are missing the coffee" and to my surprise she replied "Oh, I gave it to you yesterday!)
I was so amazed by the silliness of the situation that I just replied "mmnkay" lol. Man, it is a K-cup, it cost 30 cents, just put two in the tray, dont be so cheap! Or even charge me the 30 cents lol
Bringing a breakfast with no coffee? That is a first.
About cleanliness, they say they clean the Spa daily, but there was a cloth napkin on a chair in a very visible place for 2 days, so I highly doubt the cleanliness of the spa

The rooms are clean. I was surprised that you cannot use the amenities, you have to pay for it although 157$ a night including the taxes are not cheap
