Simply Magical 💫

Wonderful, historic grounds with art abound. There is a horse, a goat and chickens. The delicious breakfast included eggs they’d given along with fruit from the grounds., had bacon too. Picked some tomatoes and basil from the small garden. The bed was very comfortable (4 post bed downstairs) and a porch out the back door. The room is part of the historic building, but we heard no others during the stay. Phil and Darlene kept an open communication and were accommodating., would definitely stay here again.., even though I live less than an hour away

We booked a room very last minute on our way into Albuquerque. We were met at the front steps & given a tour. The owners are so friendly! We loved the history behind the property. Everything was neat and clean. Attention to detail was truly impressive. The room was very nice. If we would have had more time, we would have stayed longer.

Peaceful stay--a great respite on a long journey. Great shower, bathroom, and bed. Thanks Darlene for the delicious breakfast and Phil for your hospitality. Our one complaint was that we could not take our dog off leash because it was not fully fenced in.

Greeted warmly. Phil told us all about the interesting property history. Darlene is an excellent cook. They made feel as if we were part of the family in a very good way.
We would be happy to stay there with out a doubt.

Really appreciated the warm hospitality we received. Phil and Darlene made us feel at home, and provided a wonderful breakfast. We loved meeting the animals, and checking out the pottery and fascinating collection of antiques. Location has a NEMA 14-50 outlet - so you'll need to have your own EV charger to plug in.

Imagine your flight is delayed and your estimated time of arrival at your destination is not 10 am but 3 am the following night. You let the owners of your BnB know and ask about options for transportation at this ungodly time. Phil offered right away to pick up from the airport in the middle of the night! At the end it did not come to that since our flight was further delayed. We only arrived for a delicious breakfast.
Do I need to tell more. This is just one example that shows how Darlene and Phil go out of their way to ensure that you have a pleasant and memorable stay with them. We can recommend them highly.

It's a lovely place to stay. Brenda and I came in road weary and were welcomed home. Phil showed us about the place, it is much antiqued, quiet and clean with a very sweet spirit to it. Our room was wonderful with a huge walk-in shower, king size bed, mini-split AC and a soda and water stocked mini fridge and microwave. At breakfast, Darlene accommodated my keto dietary needs with great locally sourced protein and veggies. She also serves a good steak for dinner . We were able to recharge the Tesla using both of their 50 amp 240 AC plugins - (the standard NEMA 14-50 in the Tesla Mobile Connector kit). It is a rural setting,10 acres, we saw a couple of semi-friendly farm kitties wandering about, horse, goat, chickens, maybe others. Both Phil and Darlene made us feel welcome and at home. We will certainly be back.

We had a lovely time at the Red Horse B&B. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, the common areas were very nice for relaxing and visiting with new acquaintances. Our breakfast was delicious and the host (temporarily there to give the owners time for a vacation) was delightful. We felt cared for and that we had chosen well. Definitely plan to stay again!

This place exceeds Los Poblanos. It’s quaint, charming, clean, even better than a home away from home. You walk in and the cares of the world slip away. Fresh, homegrown produce and home-baked treats for breakfast. Lovely people , lovely service, lovely property. A bit of the heartland in ABQ. Do yourself a favor and go!

This is such a magical find. Phil, Darlene, and Carl go out of their way to make guests feel comfortable and as if they have just come over to visit family. Exceptionally clean and comfortable, the atmosphere is peaceful, restful, and the breakfast is out of this world!!
I will definitely consider myself lucky to come back again and sit on their porch.
Beautiful people.

We loved this B&B! The property was amazing! They offered so many things to meet everybody's likes. Pool table, video arcade, pool, hot tub, books, records & so much more. We personally loved watching the birds, the hummingbirds, their animals & learning the history of the property! Darlene & Phil were exceptional hosts & even made the most delicious breakfast & also provided some complimentary cookies & drinks for their guests. We are planning to stay again in the future!

Very nice, comfortable place to stay.

The location of the property is its biggest drawback. It is difficult to find, and not within walking distance of any significant points of interest. The second drawback is that it is not handicapper accessible. The bedrooms are reachable by stairs to the upper level.
The residential area around the property appears quite rundown, although this property is fine. The owners and staff are excellent to deal with.

The property is well kept and minutes away from some great tourist spots. It is also very close to the airport.
My wife and I feel lucky to have been able to stay here. We both highly recommended this bed and breakfast. It was far more fun to stay at than a hotel, air bnb, etc..

We had been on the road for five days and needed a break from the highway hotels. This was the perfect place to rest and re-energize. This working farm has a lot going on and the innkeepers are passionate about their work. They are also very interesting to talk with and made sure we were comfortable. The owners gave us a tour and history of the place. We were very interested in learning about it, but I think if you weren’t into chatting, they would certainly give you space. We really didn’t hear or see them except for the welcome and at breakfast. We had our first good cup of coffee (a full pot really) in a while and the breakfast was fantastic. It was made with eggs from their chickens and other local ingredients including fruit compotes from their orchard. The farm animals are adorable and interacting with them was a joy. The inn is clean and has all the amenities you'd expect in an upscale hotel. The air conditioning was perfect and the king size bed very comfortable. The bathroom was large and clean. The room had a fridge, freezer, coffee maker and a nice bottle of filtered water (the water from the tap was fine to drink too.) We were a little concerned as we made our way through the neighborhood of homes that looked like they'd seen better days. But it's quiet and once you are at the farm, it's like you've entered another world. Totally worth driving a few extra miles from the highway to stay here.

This was the 1st Bed and Breakfast we have ever stayed at. It was an AMAZING experience. The Owners were absolutely welcoming and friendly and The Breakfast was Hearty, and Filling, they also accommodate any allergies to foods. It was Beautifull, the room we got felt as if we took a step back into the Old western times. The Soaking Tub was Wonderful. You step right out of the City into this place that makes you feel miles away from the city. There is so much to do and see on the premises. Swimming pool, Jacuzzi, Vineyard, art, Museum like shop and horse and goats etc. you can feed. We only stayed 1 night but definitely want to go back for a few days, so we have the opportunity to take it all in. This Bed and Breakfast I recommend over any Hotel. And it is just as accessible to the city of Albuquerque. Thank you so much for making our 1st Bed and Breakfast stay an amazing one.

The breakfast was so delicious; especially the scones and almond butter. The hosts were so friendly and inviting. It made us feel at home. Thank you for a wonderful time. We will definitely be back again!

The B&B is set in a gracious old farmhouse on the grounds of a farm and vineyard. It's very interesting to walk around and see the farm animals and all the antique objects! I also enjoyed the hot tub. Breakfast was yummy, too! very cozy and lovely place to spend some time!
