About this house rental
Incredible find! Location Location Location. Casa Pearla is a comfy, cozy private two bedroom, 1 1/2 bath, two story townhouse with RARE two car garage located one street off Route 66 between historic Old Town and the gorgeous old Albuquerque Country Club area. Restaurants, shops and museums are less than a quarter mile away and the very popular food court in Sawmill is close too! About 1/2 mile West of Casa Pearla is our wonderful Albuquerque BioPark, Tingley Beach and the running/biking trails along the Bosque. Court houses, downtown, UNM and area hospitals are a quick 5 minute drive away.
Guests says Casa Pearla is their home away from home. The space is light-filled with stylish and comfortable furnishings, a smart TV, free WIFI, a well stocked kitchen with gas stove, dishwasher and refrigerator, a full sized washer and dryer, iron and ironing board with a half bathroom downstairs and a full sized private bathroom upstairs. Outside is a welcomining covered back patio, verdant side yard with roses bushes and a walled front court yard
Upstairs are the two bedrooms (1 queen/1 full) and full bath. The beds have luxury linens and memory foam mattresses that guests rave about! A great bonus is fabulous terrace off the second bedroom complete with a traditional hanging rista with little solar twinkle lights. The shared bathroom has a vanity with two sinks, a bathtub/shower combo and a large skylight that bathes the space in natural light. Soaps, shampoos and fluffy towels await and there is a hair dryer and even some first aid items too, just in case.
Often overlooked but so, so important comfort-wise is the air conditioning, I upgraded the air conditioning to central air instead of the common evaporative cooling that is still commonly used in Albuquerque (which necessitates cracking open a window to cool a room yikes! and can only lower temps by about 20-25 degrees). Another bonus at Casa Pearla is the two car garage. How convenient to be able to load and unload your luggage while keeping your belongings secure!.
Finally, it is important to me that my guests are comfortable while making many wonderful memories in Albuquerque staying at Casa Pearla. I invite you and look forward to the many return visitors and welcome new guests as well!

It was a good stay until all the owner really verbally let loose on me for bringing a dining room chair upstairs into one of the bedrooms and inadvertently forgetting to put the sheets on top of the washing machine. Additionally I took significant verbal abuse for ants in the backyard evidently due to a small Piece of food that dropped on the ground. Were it not for the verbal harassment, this would've been good. I was there attending an event with my church, and me and two other people from my church stayed there, so it's not like we had a party or anything.

Alyce’s house was ideal for our visit. We loved the location - easy walking distance to Old Town shops and restaurants and convenient to all of the rest of the area. The house was pretty, clean, and furnished with everything we could have asked for. The garage parking was a nice bonus. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Albuquerque!

Property was nicely maintained and decorated with lovely early morning & evening outdoor spaces.
Thoroughly enjoyed close proximity to parks, Old Town, and central location.
Hostess very responsive, Thanks so much!

From start to finish, Alyce was a wonderful partner in our vacation to Albuquerque. Up-front communication and her text check-ins really showed she had a vested interest in our experience. The house, located 4 minutes from the BioPark and a block and a half from Old Town, was stunning. Thank you, Alyce for being a gracious host and providing such a wonderful property.

Great home for connection trip with my adult sister. Perfectly situated near old town, walkable, and comfortable bedrooms. Nice touches in the kitchen with plenty of dishes, small appliances and spices. Great southwest art around the house. Very comfortable beds.

We loved our stay at Casa Pearla. It is an adorable, restful, well appointed place with a patio to enjoy the hummingbirds. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked with some thoughtful gifts from our host. Excellent location, close to Old Town and Hotel Albequerque. Two car garage, washer dryer, 1.5 bathrooms. Communication with our host was timely and excellent. One of the best stays I have had in a VRBO! Thank you to our gracious host, and we hope to see you in 2026.

We had a great time exploring Albuquerque. Casa Pearla was located centrally and only took a few minutes to get to any of our intended destinations. The Casa is well appointed, comfortable beds, plenty of kitchen utensils, dishes, spices, paper products. Instructions were very clear and host Alyce was very responsive. Big thanks for the snacks that were left for us!

We had a wonderful time! The place is lovely and felt like home the minute we walked through the doors. Beautiful patio and lovely home. Clean, welcoming and the beds were super comfortable! Alyce was very communicative upon arrival and departing! She even gave some suggestions on things to do and see.
You won’t be disappointed by booking this home.
Great location as well. Easy walk to Old town.
Thank you again!! Until next year. Teri and Doug K.

If you’re looking for a “home away from home” when in Albuquerque, then Casa Pearla is an ideal choice. The 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath house is clean, comfortable and well maintained. The private backyard is beautifully landscaped and has 3 distinct seating areas, so you can find either sun or shade most any time of the day. There is a 2-car garage that you have access to, so your car will be garage kept during your stay.
In terms of location, the house is close to I-40 and within walking distance of the restaurants & shops in historic old town. A short 10-minute drive will get you to the UNM Campus area and all the shops, bars and restaurants you’d expect to see in a college town.
It's also easy to see why Alyce is a Premier Host. We had very good and timely communication with her throughout our visit and she is very responsive if you reach out to her. Keeping with the theme of “home away from home,” Alyce goes beyond providing “just the basics.” When we arrived, there were some light snacks and water bottles in the fridge for our use. The towels are nice, thick and absorbent and there was Charmin toilet paper in the bathrooms (not the super thin stuff you see in most hotels or other VRBO’s). Alyce also provided some wood for the firepit out back and there’s a step stool in the kitchen so you can reach upper cabinets.
All told, this was the nicest VRBO we’ve stayed in. Don’t have a second thought if the dates are available during your visit.

Alyce's place is beautiful, inside and out. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the outside space. The bed was extremely comfortable and everything about the apartment was delightful. Alyce had put out some coffee and nice snacks which was great since our flight got in late, and that helped us get started in the morning. If we had had a chance to cook, there were spices and oils and vinegars which would have helped us make a nice meal. All in all, my husband and I rate this apartment as the best short term rental we have ever stayed at.

Place was well-appointed and tastefully decorated, convenient to all we wanted to see in Albuquerque (short walk to Old Town, short drive to zoo and botanical garden), and the bed was firm like my wife and I like!

My youngest daughter and I stayed at Casa Pearla. My daughter will be living in Albuquerque for the summer, and we wanted to visit before she moved. Casa Pearla was perfect for us! Old Town is a short walk as well as the BioPark and a coffee & bagel shop we fell in love with. The house is adorable and very comfortable. We truly loved the outdoor space and spent many hours out there reading, talking and relaxing. Plus the house has a garage! We loved being able to park our car in the garage instead of in the driveway or on a street. Alyce was great. She checked in on us during our stay and made us feel very welcome. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it!

I loved Casa Pearla. Manager, Alyce, very accommodating and only present when need be. The home is classy and nurturing with a southwest feel, making you feel at home. Historical downtown a walk away. Please enjoy the Indian Pueblo Culture Center, Durans Pharmacy, Hot Air Balloon Ride, awesome TexMex food at Padillas, Durans, Mary and Tito’s and Sadie’s.

Perfectly located, immaculate, comfortable house. Well furnished with incredible art and delightful garden. Many small touches including snacks. Well appointed kitchen. The bedrooms are upstairs so if you have trouble with stairs, this might be a problem. The full attached garage is a definite plus, however.

We are very pleased with our stay at Casa Perla. It is an extremely clean and well appointed little place. It is a very short walk to Old Town, which we enjoyed immensely. We loved having a kitchen and having the choice of eating in sometimes. Alyce is an awesome communicator and we loved the little welcoming details around the house. (Sorry we ate all your almond roca 😋) Thanks for an awesome week in Albuquerque!

We had a great time on our stay. Casa Pearla was walking distance to Old town, which was nice and convenient. Will stay again if we come back to Albuquerque.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Pearla! The host, Alyce, was on top of all pre-visit communications and the house was exceptionally clean and very well stocked with snacks and cold beer. Super easy walking distance to Old Town, and if you head the other way on Rte 66 you'll be at the Rio Grande in no time, with a really nice bike and run/walk path. When we're back in ABQ we'll definitely return to Casa Pearla!

This Vrbo was spacious and well decorated. The beds were comfortable and nice fluffy towels. There was snacks, coffee and water provided. Great location convenient to Old Town…and easy walk. The outside seating was nice too. Alyce was nice to check on us during our stay.

A really lovely place, close to old town. Very quiet, comfortable, with everything we could need. Very clean, lovely welcome pack. Pretty and small terrace/garden. Could not fault it really!
Only reason 4 stars instead of 5 for location is that the front view overlooks Route 66 and isn't as pretty as the back!
But everything else is 5*. Recommended!

Loved this property! My son and I each had a bedroom and my two most critical needs were met. Great bed to sleep on and awesome water pressure in the shower. The fact that we could walk to Old Town, have a garage to protect the car and the cutest outdoor spaces just made it all the better. Definitely recommend!

Homey, comfortable, nicely decorated, extremely clean and very well-stocked house. Outdoor area is gorgeous and private and wraps around two sides of the house. While immediate area is somewhat commercial, the house is walking distance to Old Town and central to all of Albuquerque. Very responsive and attentive owner. Note that bed in second bedroom is full-size. Highly recommend!

We stayed in ABQ during Memorial week. This location is literally across the street from Old Town and walkable to ABQ BioPark. Great inner city location also for Route 66 enthusiasts. You will definitely hear the sounds of inner city traffic if that is a concern for you. We took our portable ROKU for TV. The TV in the facility only gets the major networks, everything else is by subscription. So if you plan on taking in some relaxing TV you will need your devices and/or all your subscription info. I think this place would be perfect for a girls getaway. It has awesome outdoor areas for happy hour. The beds were very comfortable and all beds are upstairs. The condo was very clean and decorated beautifully. The host was prompt in response to any communications and provided great coffee and cookies on arrival. BTW, many restaurants were closed on Memorial Day and the Sunday before. So just FYI.

Had a lovely stay at Alyce's property. Convenient to a number of restaurants and attractions, including Old Town. We spent a lot of our time driving around the surrounding areas, from Santa Fe to the Jemez Mountains. This was a lovely space to come home to. Very clean and well-decorated, thoughtfully organized with different travel guides. I will say that if you are used to living out in the country (like us) you may want to bring ear plugs to account for some of the nighttime traffic noise. It isn't too bad, depending on how used to ambient city noise you are. Overall, we felt comfortable and safe thanks to the locking gates and garage entry.

This home is walking distance to many places of interest to explore. Old Town, the ABQ BioPark, the aquarium and Botanical Gardens, the riverwalk, the Bosque, and several good places for a beer and a bite to eat. We enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and charming decor. The kitchen has everything you need. The outdoor covered patio was a bonus. Check-in was smooth and Alyce was in touch to be sure we had everything we needed.

We had a great time in ABQ! Great weather, plenty of sunshine and lots of things to do. This is a perfect location to visit Old Town, the Sawmill district and the bike trail. We especially loved visiting the Wine Down Wednesday events in Old Town. Looking forward to visiting again.
