About this house rental
A place where the Indians, trappers and traders used to meet, this house is a converted office building less than a minutes walk from the Big Horn River.
Decorated with a unique western feel and plenty of bedrooms, your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. It has an enclosed private patio inside a large fence for privacy and a great dog area. It is perfect for grilling outdoors with a large awning, or just enjoying the outdoors in privacy.
While next to 2 restaurants, this house is off the beaten path with only small amounts of street traffic. It is less than a block to the river and an old bridge that crosses it. The bridge is now closed to car traffic. It is a block away from a gem and rock shop, and 2 blocks to a river float/kayaking shop, and only 3 blocks to a public river access area.
The front and side of this converted office building has a nice living and recreation area, while the back of the building is a walled off shop and warehouse area.
There is central air but we have added window A.C. units for the really hot times of the year. The patio may have some weeds or stickers in the dirt part, so I would not go barefoot there. There is a nice fire pit area for evenings with a covered awning nearby. There will occasionally be an odor from the wastewater treatment plant across the river, but it is usually brief and only a few hours once or twice a week. The river is only a few hundred yards from the house. The kitchen is small, but there is a food preparation area in the living room with a lot more room.
This house is less than a minute walk to the river where an old bridge crosses the river. The bridge is closed to vehicle traffic. Two restaurants are also less than a minute away, and a tourist shop and a river floating/kayaking rental shop are only a few blocks away, with a public boat access only 5 blocks away. There has occasionally been an odor from the water treatment plant across the river, while it is not common, it can be noticeable.
The downtown area is only 8 blocks away. It is a quiet neighborhood with very little traffic once you are off of the highway. There is plenty of off street parking in front of the house. It has a nice fire pit in the fenced area.

We are a big family, and stayed comfortably at The Rendezvous. This was a spacious place in a former office building. The place was clean, though as mentioned in other reviews, the carpet is pretty stained. We had our flip-flops for the plunges, so just wore them inside. Having a washer & dryer available was very helpful. The yard area was useful for drying our swimsuits, but could use some weeding. This place is right by McDonald’s & Pizza Hut (which wasn’t busy), and the best rock shop around is close, as well. We had a fun visit to Thermop, and would stay here again.

Loved the decor. Carpets could have been cleaner. But the beds were clean n comfy and I'm not sitting on the floor. Great place...the price was right but I wouldn't pay any more for it.

the house carpet was dirty, broken screen door, back yard was full of goat heads no place if you have dogs to be in. the air conditioner was not able to keep housing cool even with the window ac units. Just not what we were expecting would not recommend this place to stay in Thermopolis please look at different houses to stay. the town was fun and a great state park. but we were disappointed for what we paid to stay. we were glad we did bring are little dog as not place for her. beds were ok just very disappointed in the house as it was our first trip to Thermopolis Wyoming

Just right for our one night stay in Thermopolis. 6 of us in a family reunion too far to do all here in one day. so we spent one night here. Lots to do and this was a fine place to spend the night. All of us were pleased.

We loved this place. It was quiet and close to downtown restaurants and not far from Hot Springs State Park. It was a good place to walk our dog. There were a few problems that can be quickly remedied: the back yard is full of stickers, the carpet is stained, and the front blind is broken. The place was otherwise very clean. We would rent it again!

Well kept and great place for us to return to from all of our outdoor activities in the area! Will stay here again for sure!

Our stay was very comfortable and the communication with the host was great!

My brother and I and our wives stayed at this house. We also stayed here a year ago. We fish in the river while our wives stay in town and shop or just hang out at the house.

It was our first time staying in a vrbo. I really liked having a kitchen and a grill. The neighborhood was very quiet. and the property was big enough for my family of 6 to stay in.
The front room carpet has stains but I could tell that it was vacuumed. Otherwise very clean

We stayed here for a night. We loved it.
Host is very helpful.
Overall, we had a nice stay.

The house was clean and had everything we needed. The host was communicating very well and was asking us if needed anything else, it was nice. Location was great. The host was straightforward about some work in progress that they were doing on the house, and it did not bother us at all. We had a great stay.

This place was a great fit for us! Thank you so much for your hospitality and for allowing our pups to stay. The communication was great, and the location is convenient. Thermopolis is a great little town and we enjoyed it very much. We had so much fun at the Dinosaur Center and Hot Springs. We hope to be back again! This place is just as listed, it's "industrial" on the outside, but it works perfectly for busy families, and it's a good price.

Property was just as described. Great location for all the fishing, biking, and swimming adventures!

This property is very well located to everything in Thermopolis. Be aware that it is a converted shop building so the kitchen setup is unique, as is access to the laundry and backyard. The yard is fenced so perfectly safe for pets or small children. The beds were comfortable as was the living area. The only complaint I could make is the carpet in the living room looked dirty. We will definitely stay here again.

The property is a converted office building and it has three comfortable bedrooms with comfy beds, a nice bathroom and a small kitchen area. We were so pleased with the owner's willingness to work with us, the ease of access to the property, and the ability to just stay for the one night, which is all we needed. This stay met our needs perfectly and we will stay again. It is nice to know that we can bring our two dogs in the future if we want to.

Great size and layout. Extrey soiled looking carpet upon entering in.
Other than that it was good
